Claudia Christian, Susan Ivanova, is the character/actress from Babylon 5 in Starfield (she was Desdemona in FO4 as well). :)

There is already a lot of added items to the build menu through mods and I believe there is a farming mod and hydroponics mod. These are all things created with Xedit and it is a great R&D phase before the CK2 comes and modders can tie everything together.
I had no audio issues. Wouldn't have even thought about it without the disclaimer.
I have a variety of thoughts. I don't think his mod wants are controversial, per se, but I do think they are misguided.
Like, removing the jetpack won't make the level design any better. I rarely use the jetpack in levels and I always scour them as I move through. They feel good to move through but a lot like the rest of SF they are mostly vague? For example there are all these decorative junk items scattered about, but like the rest of SF they are lacking variety and eventually just nothing matters because everything matters.
Or, voiced protagonists work in games where you play through that characters story. It would be no better or worse with a more dynamic dialogue system. I agree that the dialogue camera sucks, but adding in a protagonist with their own story and voiced lines is unrelated to that issue.
Since Howard and the new BGS I have always felt they wanted to make a set protagonist game but then made an open-ended blank slate RPG. Both storytelling systems getting muddled and flattened in the process.
My preference would be to have a 10ish hour game with a preset protagonist that also functions as an onboarding mechanic then have the PC make their own Sandbox character. With that original PC now becoming an NPC.
Like what if you could play through a story (5-10ish hours) as one of the members of Constellation? You would get introduced to them and the game world. it could be a tight story because you don't have to allow for choice. It's a ride not a car. THEN the player makes their go anywhere do anything character and you still get the best of both worlds.
Thats an interesting take, I haven't thought about the switch over from playing the constellation characters. It would have to be just once because I think it would be annoying for the NG+. Thanks for the comment!
