- 'Snake in the Grass' taken from "Triple Threat" by the Legendary Canadian thrash/heavy metal masters Annihilator!
Annihilator proudly present Triple Threat, which includes Annihilator’s classics performed acoustically, with band leader/guitarist/ songwriter and vocalist Jeff Waters bringing together band members Aaron Homma and Richard Hinks, Vancouver BC drummer and friend Marc LeFrance plus Ottawa session player Pat Robillard. Recorded and mixed by Waters (with Marty Sobb), this quintet recorded everything live, off the floor and in single takes at Watersound Studios in Dunrobin, Canada during late May and early June, 2016.
The release also features Annihilator’s vicious set from the 2016 Bang Your Head Festival, a set which illustrates the very best of what Annihilator is known for -tight, sharp, technically-excellent and melodic thrash metal music. "Triple Threat" includes some exclusive inside-Annihilator off-stage perspective, courtesy of Jeff Waters’ own camera, which captures further elements, flavours and detail of the band which fans will flip over.

Set the World on Fire is one underrated album. Damn every song in the album is delightful.
To me, their best album, by far... epic grooves, melodies, chord progressions! I am not much of a pure trash dude, probably that's why I like Set the world on fire the most.

This is the album I listen to when I run. I’ve listened to it at least 100 times and it still ain’t old! Parts like 4:00 - 4:18 are like shots of adrenaline

This song is special. And idk about anyone else but it hits hard and a lil to close to home. And this remix is just breathtaking. Great job fellas! Sounds beautiful and a very kickass and different version of snake in the grass.

chill out man, Aaron's voice is gold, this grandad here is at least mediocre
I know Aaron voice is better, but instrumentation is way better and fits more together in this version
Hate when metal bands do stuff like this, its nice don't get me wrong, guys are very talented, but it just ain't fuckin' metal!
Not a fan of 'acoustic versions' either.
Testament, Tourniquet, Gorod, and GWAR did a good job doing acoustic songs. You don't need to be so "metal" to show some aggressive riffs, see Death and Voice of the Soul.

Annihilator are really not suited to acoustic versions of their songs..no doubt about the skilled and talented musicians though...
