I was a 13 years old, when I heard this. I used air drum in the living room, before going to school. This is one of my all time favorites. I still need to listen this with Cedric Sharply playing--jazzy, groove, and power.
Absolutely brilliant. I saw Gary live last year. Some acts fade over the years. However, he was even better than in the late 70s early 80s commercial peak. His reworking of classics are even better than the originals. Airlane live is just surreal.
Airlane is one of my favourite tracks from Gary Numan. Prefer the album version but this version still sounds good, very hard to replicate live music. Wish he makes another album like this without any singing.
Upon hearing The Pleasure Principle when it first was released my life changed in a new perspective
Been a fan since 1979.... he's still a genius.
I bought this on vinyl at ten years old in 1979. Blew my little mind apart. Still awesome!
After all the years that have gone by this is still pure class.

Musical GENIUS
SO FAR AHEAD OF HIS TIME.
BEYOND PHENOMENAL!!
No. He was on time. The world was backwards.
Wow!! Correct tempo, huge powerful sound..
Magnificent 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
This version is tight! If only all live recordings looked and SOUNDED as good as this one.
Living Ornaments 79 is the best one for me.
NOTHING SHORT OF PURE GENIUS!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great performance 👏
An absolutely class act for over 40 years!! This album blew away when I was 11!! Still does. 🎤🎸🎹🥰
Utter brilliance.
Him and a flock of seagulls are my favorites
Space age love song!!!
Wow, what a great version! I remember when this would come on back in the clubs in’79-‘80 and people would flip out. 😄
FUKN FANTASTIC

I interviewed him during the I Assassin tour. He was one of the nicest people I ever met.
Wow... It take my heart every time I listen it...
This great theme stands for the future incoming 80s, the analog-digital transition using acoustic drums. Gary Numan always beyond the future
WAs there and loved it ....first saw him in the UK in 1980
he was way ahead of his time
BRILLIANT
They don't make them like Numan anymore, CLASS
I love the drumming on Airlane, sounds like it would be a lot of fun for a drummer, lots of little flourishes ..
Still my all time favourite instrumental
It's my second fave, incredible composition....Ultravox' Astradyne is my fave 🌹,

The only thing missing is Ced’s drumming. 😢
So true. What a tight, consistent powerhouse he was. 🌹
After Joy Division - Gary is the one holding the flag of the best music ever created. IMHO.
Ese tipo de sonidos son raros y exquisitos
Pretty Cool - actually! Beyond cool....
A good version but the Wembley 81 version will never be beaten in my eyes.
The problem with the Wembley 81 version is that it has a pitch issue in the middle, great performance but the recording gets fucked up.
