I dig her role within the group. She was the soprano, Tavia the low register, B and Kelly lead vocalist. Crossing fingers they'll do one last album one day or at least perform together. I'm an original fan that had TWOTW album in 99' before the reissue with the new members. Their harmonies was unmatched.

LeToya is such a Bright Light and a Class Act!! I love her genuine, down-to -earth personality. She has an Amazing Voice and has Phenomenal Vocal Talent!! LeToya will always be Blessed because of her humility and more importantly, Her Talent!!😍😍❤❤
Being “ let go” was a blessing in disguise. Now, she has a great music catalog and acting career of her own. A woman of multiple talents, had she remained in DC, she may have never turned out to the amazing artist/actress she is today and still getting those DC royalties!

@Jetblue Horizon She is DEFINITELY making it with her acting skills, (i.e. Greenleaf, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and a few movies that she was in), being a wonderful mother with her 2 kids, a web series that she's doing, 'Leave It To LeToya', a philanthropist, and despite all of the stuff that she went through, she's still cool with Beyonce', Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and Michelle Williams---YES MICHELLE, in which they talked in person before with Tina Knowles on numerous occasions. So yeah, LeToya is DEFINITELY making a name for herself. She's THAT girl.

Um I don’t know about that- chelle can sing with amazing range - blew Cole’s out the water. Toya got incredible range - but has a lead vocal sound - something only 🐝 has among them.
@prayingtakestime5458 Yh but you're objecting on subjective terms e.g your preference for the sound of her voice. That's got nothing to do with her technical singing ability. Michelle's a demonstrably more technically able singer but fair enough if you prefer Toyas tone and style, that's different, subjective.
I would say that besides Beyonce, Michelle has the most range and she can sing technically. Michelle is a trained West End/Broadway stage singer.. When Beyonce didn't want to sing lead while on tour with Destiny's Child, it was Michelle that took over the lead.

I wish Letoya had put more effort into her music career. From 2006- 2010, her music was poppin. Torn, Regret, She Don't, her second album was fire.
She was on track to being the second most successful DC member, but she focused on acting after her second album, which is fine.... but she really could have been double trouble entertainment wise.

What I think should have happened what's LeToya Luckett after that drama with Destiny's Child she should have signed to So So Def and Jagged Edge should have released the song You Can Get It featuring LeToya Luckett just to keep her name out there while they worked on her solo album. Instead of her trying to start the group Anjel with Latavia Robertson to just be a copy of Destiny's Child. For those of you who have never heard of the song You Can Get It that song is featured on the album Heavenly by the group Anjel and it features Jagged Edge but because it was written and produced by the members of Jagged Edge it could have easily fit on there Jagged Little Pill album or they could have released it as an independent single.

I'm confused about Letoya and Rommy. I heard they live in Dallas Texas full time but why are they in Atlanta? Is it just for the show? It was revealed ( at the time) that the couple was building a brand new construction mega mansion in Dallas to live permanently because he's a business entrepreneur and they want to raise the family rhere.
I just hope that when the reunion comes… all 5 of them should all reunite. Like, give us a new and last album and possibly a tour for 1 last time!!! Just for the FANS.. to celebrate.

Letoya and Latavia were only allowed to sing backgrounds on the first 2 albums. Latavia may have gotten a few lines in a bridge on 2 or 3 tracks.
Latavia was frightened to sing live in front of her peers when she was on R&b Divas Atlanta on TV One.
I realize the ultimate dream is to see them all reunite now, but in the future, if they actually did a legitimate reunion it is not going to be DC5 over the final lineup. 🤷🏽
I was at the Houston rwt last night and they were ALL there… Kelly, Latoya, Michelle and latavia.. we were all hoping for a reunion since it was her hometown show but no they were just watching like the rest of us

When they wanted to kick her sister out of Xscape, she gave them an ultimatum because she cared about somebody besides herself. Latoya and Latavia did nothing wrong by seeking separate management because they knew that Matthew only cared about his daughter.

The original lineup was the one I respect the most. The lineup on TWOTW is the group that made them! I wish the original 4 would shock the world and do a televised show or something one time. For the original fans.

They lost that full, rich sound after Latavia and Latoya were kicked out. That original four-part harmony was pure gold on those first two albums. But I don't think that "management" (i.e. Matthew) cared about the group's lost sound. His plan from the beginning was to make HIS daughter the "Diana Ross" breakout star. He was pulling a Barry Gordy, so the rest of the chicks were disposable. I think he only felt SOMEwhat of a duty to Kelly because he'd adopted her or acquired guardianship of her when she was younger.

@@tincredible I’m not sure he cared about Kelly that much. First, if she had complained like Letoya and Latavia, he would’ve kicked her out of the group, too. Second, after Kelly dropped him as her manager for her solo career, the record company dropped Kelly, too (almost like revenge). Then after Michelle sought new management for her solo career, Matthew said that DC would never reunite (he was salty). However, he didn’t inform the 3 girls before he made that statement, the same way he created confusion and resentment when he kicked out Latavia and Letoya by surprise. I remember Michelle and Kelly saying that they had a group text to clarify what Matthew was saying about DC never getting back together again. Shortly after that drama, Beyoncé fired her own dad as her manager. Then his wife, Tina, divorced him later. He may have been a brilliant strategist for DC, but he doesn’t handle conflict or disagreement like a healthy adult.
