“I’d get disgruntled guests coming up to me and complaining about the stormy weather” Well damn Jackie I can’t control the weather
it seems like they complain just to complain and hope they can get something free out of it tbh
this comment was golden, i read this in kelso's voice
I had this exact thought when I heard that 😂
Hahaha YES!!!!!
Kai Revil who is Kelso? Sorry I am new here
wow i wasn’t expecting this. the story about Raymond Barlow is actually true. it was in 1999, it’s reported on multiple sites. absolutely breaks my heart, may he rest in peace.
This story made me tear up.
@@slysawyer5022 yeah i totally understand it didn’t hit me quite as hard until i looked it up and my stomach dropped
@@slysawyer5022 same, it made me ugly cry....
Are there any articles on the rollercoaster crash in Story 1?
@@Cure_Hana not sure, there isn’t nearly as much detail but similar things like that have happened before, i bet you could find something somewhere
I'm very upset Disney didn't shut down the park and hold the funeral for the family for Raymond. That's the least they could have done when an employee died on their behalf.
That story had me in tears, RIP Ray Ray.
Totally agree. Poor man.
They care about money more than people sadly
Christina it would be nice but that’s just unrealistic
Disney is disgusting.
Also the fact the guy said emts arrived in "less than 20 minutes " ....wtf is that supposed to mean? Operator should have ordered a helicopter to a guy who fell ...idk...SIXTY feet?!
Am I the only one that feels the darkness lift when the birds start chirping at the end of the video?
💀🌑 ✨🌕🎶🐦🌈
I feel that too.
Same
Haha I say awhh! Everytime.
and the mickey voice cracked me up.
Hmmm
You can really hear the sympathy in his voice during Rays story
It's so sad.
I feel so badly for Ray. A series of events had to occur in order for that tragedy to happen. It wasn't just one thing. So unfortunate.
I remember it happening, I grew up in Florida and remember the guy falling to his death back in 1999. I believe they closed the ride right after, I haven’t been to Disney in over 20 years so Im not 100% on it though
@@AbsolutelyNoOne-qi4ye wow he was a worker. His coworker didn’t know he was cleaning and turned on the ride
At the end especially I had to hold back tears.
I swear, I'm supposed to be scared but I just cant get over the line: "mickey the rat" I just frickin lost it
Me too. Ur pfp tho hahaha we all need to boycott disney with signs that say that hahaha
Ray's is making me sad man , rest in peace
I'm so glad people stepped up to help that little girl and didn't ignore her pleas! Thats how it should be, people looking out for animals, and children, and other adults who may be in need of help.
Yes! I know bystander effect is a thing, but the only way to combat it is to stop assuming and act within your abilities to do so. Designate one person to call emergency services, another to get a park employee, and pull others in to act immediately. Take charge and break through the bystander effect and put a stop to harm and help others. Assuming others will act is how no one acts. And loss of life or severe and lasting damage is what hapoens after that.
“And other adults who may be in need of help.” I love that part. Gave me a little hope for humanity in a darkly time in my life. Thank you.
@@LOve-bq4gc thanks. Whatever you're going through, it'll pass. It'll get better. You are not alone. Sometimes we're convinced we're the only ones suffering, but if we kept it in mind, we'd realize how many of us are going through it and could actually comfort each other and perhaps find a little joy in our lives.
Love you 💞
Gloria
The one with Ray made me cry, I don't even know him, but it just made me feel so bad for him, maybe because I'm a Housekeeper myself and he was in my group of people, Housekeepers, Janitors, Maids, Environmental Service, there is just an unspoken thing even if we don't work with them. Plus I could picture this happy go lucky happy guy minding his business and going out like that, just doesn't seem fair.
You have you bean
Have you bean
Williamwu hi
This first story is 100% true. He was decapitated, you can google. I remember clearly hearing about this on another channel and articles. Here’s a fun fact too.
Most of these issues with rides happen at Disneyland.
Fact 2. Disney will not pronounce someone dead on their property so no one “technically” died at Disney (I know it’s bs but that’s what Disney does, I know from someone who works there)
Supposedly all the stories are true.
But I can see the stories around them be made up to set the atmosphere
Aatala I have heard that several times as well, that they will not “pronounce” anyone on Disney property. Weird.
@@thehappyparamedic people can take this as they will of course but I had the chance in 2018 the last time I stayed at a Disney hotel, to speak with an employee who used to work in the park and I asked her a lot of stuff that I’d been hearing online like about the tunnels, deaths, strict rules for princess cast members and she basically confirmed all of it
I think the pronouncing people dead thing is a misconception due to a few factors. There have been people declared dead while on Disney property, and when they haven't it is due to paramedics trying their best to keep the person alive but the effort being futile. There is a snopes article about it, if you are interested more! Also the first story isn't based on the decapitation but rather the death of someone in 2003 when the ride got derailed, you can check on the deaths in disneyland article on wikipedia and check under the big thunder mountain railroad listing for more information on it (I would copy and paste it but my comment is really long already and I don't want to bore you with info.)
Sorry if this is a lot and a long comment I just research a lot about disney parks and stuff because it fascinates me
Different incident. There’s a TON of accidents that happen at the Disney parks, but heaven forbid they get the coverage they deserve.
Second story, the one about Ray is so terribly sad. Rest in heaven
I’m so happy and relieved that someone ‘butted in’ and saved that little girl (she was the exact same age as my own middle daughter at the time). Incredible.
"Like the disgusting greasy lizard person I was" 😆
"Like a few Mickey Pills...."🤣🤣🤣
Omg I read this comment just as it was said in the video 🤣
@@carmen-monoxide2955 Sure thing, bud.
@@StripedTheProtector definitely, bud.
Story 4:
"There's something about being a dad that makes you not willing to roll the dice with your kid's safety."
Gtfo man. You literally almost fell asleep on a bench when your wife asked you to watch your kids so she could go to the bathroom.
But even then he realized his mistake, retreats it and saved his kids from that evil. He thought he was safe while falling asleep, not when evil is right at your door. Be harsh on the thing that Terrorized them. Not the father.
@@thatcreepyberdinthecorner1097 I'm harsh on both 🙄🙄🙄
@@LancelotTheKing still I think your being to harsh on a mistake any of us could make. He realized he was wrong and regretted it, what else do you want?
I mean the guy was referring to his wife as a ball and chain so he's probably not a family man, much less an active father, to begin with
@@goodvibes8923 Exactly!
The Ray story was so incredibly sad. I can’t imagine having to see something like that happen. I hope he is at peace.
And the Celebration story is just creepy as hell. Sounds weirdly nightmarish and dystopian.
There’s something interesting (and morbid) hearing horror stories from amusement parks 🤦🏼♂️
Yes, especially “Disneyland” and “Disney World” are supposed to be the happiest places on Earth!!! It seems like both places would be so innocent, I’m 🇨🇦 and we drove from Manitoba all the way to Disneyland in Cali. My grandparents took my brother and I. I think my favourite part of that trip was the drive there! It was gorgeous and it super cool to see how different it was from my province!
The “It’s a Small world” is still stuck in my head and I went when I was 17(I’m 29 now) I HATE that creepy ride. We went over Christmas break so the animatronics were all dressed up in their country’s Christmas attire. I hated it.
Those creepy animatronics gave me nightmares for months aftwrward
@@taylerrenee9710 it’s a small smaaalll world
I’m literally listening to these Bc we are headed to Disney later in the summer. I’m a morbid fck and I can’t help it. Woo!
Honestly story 4 was the scariest disney story I’ve ever heard. I’m scared to look out the windows and see the silhouette of that costume.
When I die, I want my remains sprinkled around Disney World, maybe a little bit in "Space Mountain", a bit in "It's a Small World."
Also, I don't want to be cremated
OH I thought you were a bot.
Apparently, you’re not the first person who had that thought. Disney cast members tell people on tours that people try that ALL the time and the attractions are cleaned every single night so anything spread around in them will just get vacuumed up and thrown out in the trash. SO, many people do it, they actually watch for people trying it using the camera throughout each of the major attractions. 😂
Hold up ring ding ding ding ding ding ding ding
“Is that a real ear on that animatronic?” “Naaaaaaah... it’s a small world after all.”
2001 called, they want that saying back
I was just "recommended" another horror narrator (new to me) so I went to check him out. I'm not dropping any names, I'm not here to diss on anyone, but jeez I switched back to you real quick so your caramel voice could sooth my eardrums back to health ❤️😘 Thanks for all you do!
Mr creeps is also amazing but this dude is better in my opinion
IKR? Some of these guys’ voices are just awful, high pitched, whiny! It’s all about the voice!
Mr nightmare is amazing
Urmaker is also amazing and a great voice!
Those are all great, plus Creepsin & Corpse Husband, but this wasn't any y'all listed lol. I haven't heard of Urmaker I'll check him out!
People can be selfish assholes sometimes so its nice that people will come together and help a little kid and stop a kidnapping. Everyone could have just let it go, not their problem.
Poor ray...😭😭😭
Rip ray...🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️
R.I.P Ray
As someone who is from Orlando, hearing that Ray story was so sad. Poor guy.
I went to Disneyworld when I was 5, being from England I don’t know any of my friends who have been personally, it was such a magically experience.. Nothing creepy or scary happened to me it was probably the happiest 2 weeks of my life however listening to these stories makes me realise even the happiest of places can experience dark scary times.
The crazy guy in the Mickey costume sounds like the typical "crazy Florida man" you always hear or read about in news articles.
Yep
The kids probably told him where they were staying. I hope he taught them to be less trusting
As soon as I heard September 5, 2003 I knew what was coming . Thunder Mountain is one of my favorite rides and I've never forgotten about the accident ever since I found out about it .
I was a cp a few years ago and one of our fellow cps was killed by a hit and run. The next year they talked about being safe and used it like it had been her fault. I love disney movies and going to the park but as a company they suck
The story about ray is why lockouts exist. It was the employers fault for failing to put up proper safety systems to prevent what happened. But hey thats the usa for you. Its cheaper to replace people than to build proper lockout procedures.
@Shalewa Moren it depends on the cause. If no safety procedure exists to prevent this from happening, then the employer is at fault. The employee was just doing his job and what he was told to do.
Now if the proper training and safety protocols were in place but the employee was ignoring them, then it’s the employees fault.
Damn these lets read stories sad as hell sometimes :(
I wonder what strange things are going on at closed Disney parks in los Angeles during covid. RIP Ray.
Not Los Angeles, stupid. Anaheim is Orange County.
The Micky Mouse stalker probably got the info from your kids.
I could not imagine being in that situation with Ray in the second story. My heart breaks for them all. Rest In Peace Ray ❤️
Part 2 Please! I am a cast member at Disney World and love hearing these stories.
😃 😃 ^_^
I lived in celebration for about a year with a friends family before I high tailed it out of there, horrible place to live and the stories of wife swapping is true.
Sounds like a selling point to me
thanks Joel for the perfect birthday gift! now I spend the rest of my birthday listening to your vid!
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY
Why do you just have the best stories ever? Trick or Treating and now Disneyland!?! i can wait for whats next
The Mickey costume one was disturbing as hell. Definitely some FNAF vibes.
Ray’s story is so sad. Made me cry a little. Rest in peace. 🙏🏻
The Celebration town story is so creepy. Who the heck would want to live somewhere so artificial?
Why is it I associate The happiest on earth as the most haunted place on earth. Must be all the beheadings.
15:19 NOPE it definitely was the skyway operator fault
Story 1: Oh crap, we’re in Final Destination 3.
Who else watching this on a bad day?
What’s up?:(
@@ambarvizcarra9656 long story
Are there any other kind?
@@leluschka11 nope
i listen to it like a podcast while im doing schoolwork
Such a good topic! I'd love more horrifying theme park/Disney stories
Yesss!👌🏻
So did the Ray story happen before they had walkies or do they not use them? If they had something like that, they could've alerted the skyway operator to turn it off before things got bad. Or they could've called for help before he fell.
Also, the guy writing it kept saying it wasn’t any bodies fault right after saying the skyway operator didn’t do his safety checks. Like?! Then yes it was somebody’s fault! Places have safety checks for a reason; if you don’t do them and somebody dies, you caused their death!!
perfect backround noise for a gaming sesh😔👊
Rays story is absolutely heartbreaking.
The end of Story 2 had me in tears. :(
Can you do another snapchat horror story compilation?? -(Good work with the stories too)
The second story made me want to cry :( that’s so damn sad
I felt so so bad listening to Raymond Barlows story... Rest In Peace ✌️💜 he sounds like he was an amazing person.... it was no ones fault - sometimes we just get in “ the same old routine “ and the operator just didn’t think to check the tracks B4 turning on ride . Dang .. thinking about you Ray
The third and 4th story scared me the most. I’m just glad that the dad wasn’t an idiot pointing who the person was like wearing the Mickey Mouse suit
Love your videos! The story about Ray is the first one to bring me to tears. RIP Ray
That story about the man named Ray had me crying!! The poor man!! He didn't deserve to die!!
Ikr
I’m so glad I found this I’m going to Florida and Disney world tomorrow and this will make it more fun❤️
Awesome! I’m going next year with my mom and stepdad. ^_^
I hope to get scared shitless by some villains if I meet them. Like by Darth Vader, Kylo Ren and StormTroopers! XD I would probably be laughing nervously and screaming.
Please do more scary Disney stories! I absolutely love them!
RIP Ray! My heart sank listening to that story.
Happiness place on earth with a side of horror. I’m here for it❤️
Listening to this at 1:30 am on a break from studying for my nursing classes, love ya man thanks for the content, I know you also used to be a nurse so I’m sure you get it
Glad to hear a story about Disney World in Orlando!!
Story 2: Nobody was at fault? There was absolutely someone at fault! Evidently, someone wasn't following protocol, got lazy and a person died, the guy even said they failed to check; why the family didn't sue is a mystery? I would've
Hey Joel, in the stream you said you hadn't seen Escape From Tomorrow. I highly recommend it, it's a horror movie filmed at Disney World (and it's done discreetly without Disney's consent, they didn't even want to pursue charges when they found out about it because they didn't want to draw attention to the movie) and it's a psychological thriller, super creepy and everything you want in a Disney horror movie leaving you saying wtf at the end 😅
What kind of actual grownup wants to wait in lines for rides etc? Me.....very much me.😂
Same😜
The real question is why would anyone in their right mind would wait in a line for 10-20 damn minutes for a mediocre ride that's only 3-5 minutes long??
My younger brother was that "moody kid out of the bunch" he really didn't have fun no matter what was going on 😂 my horror story would be him throwing ice cream at my mom while we were there and she looked like she wanted to kill us all
YES! Just what I needed. What we ALL needed!
What's crazy is I seriously heard some of these stories in other UA-cam videos featured....but never from the actual witness reporting the story, just facts from research. This is excellent, the first hand story. Thanks!
Hell yes! Perfect because I just clocked in to work! Thanks man!
I cried so hard on the second story😭😭😭😭
Oh yeah, horror stories for my first full day back to work. Thanks man for your great narrations 👍👍😁
Here's some horror, Disney cruise lines stopped at Little Saint James island aka Epstein island on some of their routes.
I did some research on this and all I found were personal blogs. I didn’t find any actual information on it, unless you had sources (not blogs/personal opinions)?
It's not just Disney cruise lines that are shady. Cruise lines in general are shady af. Look into the disappearances of Rebecca Corriam and Amy Bradley. And because it's international waters there's always debate about who's jurisdiction it falls under.
Boycott Disney!
Fourth story should be called florida Man
These stories were awesome! Loved your Mickey Mouse impression haha
I have heard stories and seen things from my time working as a lifeguard at an amusement park but I dont use readit and because of my current profession I dont share certain experiences publicly. Maybe in the future I may share.
the stream was fun listening to these stories yesterday :)
Please do more of these! Theme park horror stories are my favorite 😍 ❤️
Another great video! Thanks so much for sharing 💜
I went to Disneyland and Pluto grabbed my hand and wouldn't Let go I was on a school trip too this wasn't the first thing to happen like that I was at universal studios to go to the Harry potter attractions and I went over to the simsons park and I saw Bart and he grabbed my hand and wouldn't Let me go either it's funny at first but then you realize theirs people in those suits
Yay It's time for a Let's Read video pizza and French fries with ranch got my fav drink I'm curled up on my recliner couch with my cozy warm heated blanket and i also got all my snacks as well so I'm all set. Take it away LR also stay safe everyone💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 Edit: i would like to recommend a horror movie i watched on tubi tv earlier it's called Chill the killing games it was pretty good and the ending you won't even see coming. It came out in 2012 or 2013 and they said a sequel was already in the making and it would come out in 2016 but i can't find anything about it. If anyone has seen this and knows where i can find the sequel any help would be much appreciated thanks.
Thank you Let's Read ❤️
May Ray be at peace, that one tugged at my heart guts. 😢
Man, that story about Ray was one of the heaviest I’ve heard on here in awhile. Very tragic. 😭
I still haven't been to Disneyland or Disney World. I've always wanted to go but sadly, my parents never really had the funds to go on trips like that. The 4th story reminded me of an episode of Supernatural. And the 2nd story was really sad.
Ah yes, spooky father has blessed us with more content. 😩❤️
XD He sure has! And LMAO YOUR PROFILE PIC OF MICKEY! I CAN’T 🤣
The scariest part of the video was your Mickey voice at the end, ughhhh *shivers*
The first one, it made so sad. I did not expect such a story.
iirc, the first story details the death of Vincente Guitierrez, who died on his 22nd birthday in 2003.
"It's every kids dream to go to Disney World...." Well after this mix, that's a Nooooooope for me.
I never gave much a crap for Disney and I never had intentions of going to their crappy parks. I could just go on a day-long picnic at the Oregon Coast for VERY less money and still have more fun.
The person that turned on the ride that killed Ray should have been fired, any person operating a ride needs to be sure the track is clear before starting it.
Fired and prosecuted, when he said they got to quit I was so shocked. I get it was an accident but that’s negligence and manslaughter right? Yeah it’s tough for you after but that doesn’t atone for it at all. And then the person saying it was “no ones fault”?! If you do this at any other job you get punished so I don’t get how it couldn’t have happened in this one.
This really doesn't make me want to visit Disneyland anytime soon, Joel. Yikes.
It mitigates all of the advertising for Disney travel appearing on TV lately. It's really mean to advertise to people who don't live in CA or FL during evening television blocks.
You shouldn't be visiting a theme park during a pandemic anyways
yes time to do my usual cleaning while listening to my favorite story teller 😍♥️
He's got me conditioned. As soon as I heard birds, I reached over to pop on another video xD
Just in time for me to fill the drink cooler at work. Thanks bro
Amazing channel best stories I've heard love your videos keep it up ☺️😎😎
Finally some more Disney stories!!!!! Not even Disney is safe from society’s creepers!!!!!!
That’s bc Disney is a franchise that was created in America and bc of that, it’s one of those hot spots creeps can roam around.
@@renanel8915 Yeah definitely especially with somebody who's grown up with it.
Apparently Disney is okay with letting them in their parks let alone working at them. Good thing I rejected them over 10 years ago.
Poor ray...
Love the video ready ♥️♥️
The story of Ray made me cry so hard it’s so sad that the coworker wouldn’t have checked first to make sure there was no one there before turning it on
Haha. Love that ending. Keep up the great work.
Dang. This was good. These stories are crazy. Poor Ray. Terrible what happened to him.
The Mickey voice at the end threw me for a second lol
I hate it when people scare away the criminal when the cops are on the way. I can understand in some situations but not in others.
