I'm very upset Disney didn't shut down the park and hold the funeral for the family for Raymond. That's the least they could have done when an employee died on their behalf. That story had me in tears, RIP Ray Ray.
Also the fact the guy said emts arrived in "less than 20 minutes " ....wtf is that supposed to mean? Operator should have ordered a helicopter to a guy who fell ...idk...SIXTY feet?!
I'm so glad people stepped up to help that little girl and didn't ignore her pleas! Thats how it should be, people looking out for animals, and children, and other adults who may be in need of help.
Yes! I know bystander effect is a thing, but the only way to combat it is to stop assuming and act within your abilities to do so. Designate one person to call emergency services, another to get a park employee, and pull others in to act immediately. Take charge and break through the bystander effect and put a stop to harm and help others. Assuming others will act is how no one acts. And loss of life or severe and lasting damage is what hapoens after that.

The one with Ray made me cry, I don't even know him, but it just made me feel so bad for him, maybe because I'm a Housekeeper myself and he was in my group of people, Housekeepers, Janitors, Maids, Environmental Service, there is just an unspoken thing even if we don't work with them. Plus I could picture this happy go lucky happy guy minding his business and going out like that, just doesn't seem fair.

I went to Disneyworld when I was 5, being from England I don’t know any of my friends who have been personally, it was such a magically experience.. Nothing creepy or scary happened to me it was probably the happiest 2 weeks of my life however listening to these stories makes me realise even the happiest of places can experience dark scary times.

I think the pronouncing people dead thing is a misconception due to a few factors. There have been people declared dead while on Disney property, and when they haven't it is due to paramedics trying their best to keep the person alive but the effort being futile. There is a snopes article about it, if you are interested more! Also the first story isn't based on the decapitation but rather the death of someone in 2003 when the ride got derailed, you can check on the deaths in disneyland article on wikipedia and check under the big thunder mountain railroad listing for more information on it (I would copy and paste it but my comment is really long already and I don't want to bore you with info.) It seems like both places would be so innocent, I’m 🇨🇦 and we drove from Manitoba all the way to Disneyland in Cali. My grandparents took my brother and I. I think my favourite part of that trip was the drive there! It was gorgeous and it super cool to see how different it was from my province!
The “It’s a Small world” is still stuck in my head and I went when I was 17(I’m 29 now) I HATE that creepy ride. We went over Christmas break so the animatronics were all dressed up in their country’s Christmas attire. I hated it.
People can be selfish assholes sometimes so its nice that people will come together and help a little kid and stop a kidnapping. Everyone could have just let it go, not their problem.
I was a cp a few years ago and one of our fellow cps was killed by a hit and run. The next year they talked about being safe and used it like it had been her fault. I love disney movies and going to the park but as a company they suck

The story about ray is why lockouts exist. It was the employers fault for failing to put up proper safety systems to prevent what happened. But hey thats the usa for you. Its cheaper to replace people than to build proper lockout procedures.
@Shalewa Moren it depends on the cause. If no safety procedure exists to prevent this from happening, then the employer is at fault. The employee was just doing his job and what he was told to do. Now if the proper training and safety protocols were in place but the employee was ignoring them, then it’s the employees fault.

So did the Ray story happen before they had walkies or do they not use them? If they had something like that, they could've alerted the skyway operator to turn it off before things got bad. Or they could've called for help before he fell.
Also, the guy writing it kept saying it wasn’t any bodies fault right after saying the skyway operator didn’t do his safety checks. Like?! Then yes it was somebody’s fault! Places have safety checks for a reason; if you don’t do them and somebody dies, you caused their death!!
I lived in celebration for about a year with a friends family before I high tailed it out of there, horrible place to live and the stories of wife swapping is true.

Hey Joel, in the stream you said you hadn't seen Escape From Tomorrow. I highly recommend it, it's a horror movie filmed at Disney World (and it's done discreetly without Disney's consent, they didn't even want to pursue charges when they found out about it because they didn't want to draw attention to the movie) and it's a psychological thriller, super creepy and everything you want in a Disney horror movie leaving you saying wtf at the end 😅

Also, I think the story of the America Sings employee's death is sadder/more horrible than Ray's story.
