- In this video I'm going to show you how to build a remote control release/drop mechanism. The drop mechanism is built from a servo, electric speed controller, receiver, battery and a transmitter. It can lift several kilos of payload and is easy to build. Here's what you need:
Transmitter + receiver: www.ebay.com/it...
Servo: www.ebay.com/it...

This channel is very nostalgic for me😖😖love itt.. This old videos make me timetravel to old days😭love from India brother😍😍😍
It's only 2016 😂
This is one of the coolest DIY vids I’ve ever seen. Mate you’re brilliant! Just the device I’ve needed for my P4Pro. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🤘🏼
Is it possible to get a digital servo setup to fit in this model? Besides I wanted to get long range of transmitting the signal to servo from the ground (approx. 10-20 miles)
My question is how are you transmitting the connection from the transmitter to the drop server, without breaking or tapping into the remote? Do you have to have a separate remote to connect to the server? What did you do to make connectivity to drop a device. I want to do this with a DJI Mavic or Mini series. What is the furthest connection you can get in the air? Do you sell and custom make these. If so, I would like to purchase one!
Instead of using a transmitter can you just use a photo resister as the switch and hook it up the led lights which can then be turned on and off in the app so it opens and closes the mechanism
I am new to this, how do you connect the transmitter to two recievers i.e. one on the quadcopter and another for the drop mechanism?
you don't have to..if you have a spare channel on your receiver then you can make this work on the same system. Believe he was showing this as a complete separate system to test it out independently.
Let me know if you need any more help, and thanks to JettaManDan for making it clear!
you are welcome! happy to help...great design...i may use it myself...like the idea of the 2 blocks so the rod doesn't fall out...can see that sticking down on a landing and causing issues ;-)
richie Archie: Maybe just hook up with some forums, youtube is not a helpdesk
Hey I saw that that ESC is really a voltage regulator or so I think. If you know where I can find that or what amount of voltage it regulates that would be very useful.
12v to 5 to rx
@@harshvardhanrastogi2273 unfortunately I no longer need the answer to my question as I asked it 2 years ago, but it’s the thought that counts. I guess.
I have Bayantoys X16, if i buy a servo and a receiver, how do I make use of unused button on the Tx to make the servo work?
Any tutorials on that?
Hey, the link for the transmitter is not available anymore.
I would like to build something like you posted and I am stuck due to the transmitter. Can you please share a good link for a transmitter & controller which will work with the setup you listed here?
Thanks a lot man!
0:05 music give me chill😭😭old days miss u
That's really cool!! It looks really professional!
Hi,u can teach in a video how to config. a servo in a remote control(step bye step)?
Does Bro even respond?
Hello, are you production this product
Did you upload the plans for the 3d model?
www.thingiverse.com/thing:920725
Hello, I would like to make this scheme to use in mavic pro, but in this case I would not need to use the receiver, I would like to adapt the light sensor to put in front of the led that has on the mavic arm, could you help me do this change
How did you control the servo?
using ppm or pwm?
I used a 2.4GHz receiver and transmitter (PPM).
Is it possible to make this device with a different drone?
Hey! Would it be possible to get a different voltage servo, so you could use existing power. My drone has a 5v and 12v output. if I get a 5v servo I should be able to eliminate the extra battery right?
Hi! Did you build the drone? In that case you can just plug it into a free channel of your receiver and assign a switch on your transmitter to activate it. Often servos accepts a voltage of 4-7V.
RCLifeOn No, I didn't build my drone. I really wanted to buy it seemed like a better deal to buy a plug and play one. I've got my payload release set up now! Thank you for the help. :)
RCLifeOn I just used hot glue to mount it to my servo. All I am adding to the drone is two 1/2 inch piece of brake cleaner straw, some hot glue and a servo. I used a paper clip to connect to the servo and just bent it to the correct shape to release the load.
Can you use your existing receiver if you have an open channel?
Yes of course!
Very good, someone has or knows where to get the stl of the impure piece, because what I see does not answer.
Does anyone have the link to the file for the 3D printed version?
Ava D Someone in the comments posted this link for the 3D printed version of the drop mechanism: www.thingiverse.com/thing:920725 I know I'm replying almost a year after you asked, but I hope this helps :)
OMG TYSM
great video , please can you share the 3d print ?

@@GuthrieDennis thank you man!
Have cad drawing anywhere?
if we want through two ball and using ine servo how we can do it
This is perfect for what I have in mind for drone fishing. Thank you for working on this
+Young Chung Awesome, will you make a video? Thanks for watching!
I'll give it a try!
@@RcLifeOn Finally found the right person who has the same hobby as me. The drone is modified to deliver the device. My learning goal of not being able to sleep at night
Can you upload the .stl file (or whichever type you use) of the 3D printed version somewhere?
ya that would be super amazing!

I hope ur channel will grow even bigger
I'll do my best, thanks! :)
No prob man
Cool video ,,where did you get the plans for the 3D version ,,,thanks Capt Jay from buffalo ny
Do you sell the 3D printed ones?
No, I don’t sell them
That was cool!!! Mind to share you circuit diagram?? Please
Can i get 3d model for this please?
Good old days🙂
could u share the 3d model file for the 3d printed version?
My best option is to use a motor drop release mechanism from an RC car, on a separate transmitter from the rc remote
hi do you have file of the 3d? ty
how long is the range
where can I get the 2mm diameter steel rod?
Local hardware store or online. You can also salvage steel rods from things like umbrellas.
Nice work Thank you very much I am a follower of a channel greeting you from Algeria
How do i charge the battery?
Were can I find the STL file for the bomb dropper?
what about the 3d printed part
Who knows!!
Good Video but any chance of the 3d print design .
Wow... I like that beat can you tell me the beat title?
Check the description for music.
Thanks
Donde puedo comprar uno hecho ya?
some guys get all the nice toys
where can i get the 3D printing design?
Here you got mate: www.thingiverse.com/thing:920725
What size of end tube did you use? that's a beautifully simple design btw, well done!
The size of the hole is slightly larger than the steel rod attached to the servo.
oh, i meant the tube connected to the gas container
Alright, I believe it was a 3mm (inner).
Thanks :)
@@RcLifeOn Brother, what is the name of your motor, and what is the name of your motherboard on the Internet? Can you share it with me?

I love your all video.
That was awesome.
You can to do a shooter for xiaomi yi.
You coud have dropped the esc and then the big battery
I'm pretty sure you didn't control this drone with this controller
thank you
yeah i like your video.......
please keep senting
I will, thanks bro!
This is great! now build an aerodynamic pod for it and mount 6 of them on to a fixed wing drone bro! I bet you can't engineer that lol
