Salvou minha vida!
Is it possible to assign the existing field values from a table? For Ex: In Month field I have the values 1 thru' 12. I try to give the Month (field) to a variable so that the users select one month from the list. ( If I use the Filter - users may select more than one month which I don't want)
Hi, great Video! What if I want to have the variable to be a percentage?
Hi Lauro - you would convert it to a decimal form - .10 being 10 percent - if you have more questions please open a discussion thread in the qlik community forums - you will get quicker answers from many experts.

In which case it can be useful? Any real examples?
Hi Felix - thanks for your questions - this was a simple concept in the video - but real examples include: understanding the impact of things like cost increase or supply decrease on profitability - allows to understand why, how, when the situation changes for multiple metrics - etc. - for me this was a real example - as my costs are always changing and I can simply see how it affects my profit - and what I can adjust to keep it where I like it. Hope this helps.
I think it is extremely useful in set analysis where you can enter a variable. Then real examples would be: customized range by end user (input boxes) or TOP X based on a variable. It opens up a lot of possibilities for end users to influence charts and calculations.
