Thanks for the comment Nawaaz - this was a good video to make as it answered so many of the questions I had when I started with Set Analysis - stay well.
Great video.. you make things easily understandable. I was in fact looking for dynamic functions in qliksense and you explained one. Could you please provide list of all dynamic functions for rolling 5 weeks, rolling 7 days as well..
Great video, thanks. Just a pity it does not seem possible to do set analysis on fractiles, eg. fractile(sales_price,0.25). Or is there a way to do it?
I would love to see a video on manipulating between dates for example sum or count a row with a value in a between calculated dates) also dealing with null values. Thanks!
Hi Elizabeth - that is perfect for the Qlik Community, please join the community community.qlik.com/ and post your thread there that way myself and others can better support your request.
Great video and helped me so much. Would you be able to post a video on date interval based on functions? For example, I would like to restrict sales data based on today's month and next 2 months, in order to check orders that are still open. Thanks again!! :)
+Luiz Henrique de Paula - Hi Luiz - I have a few planned, looking at doing one on AGGR next. Note - we don't always check the comments in YT, it is best to post these types of questions in the qlik community. community.qlik.com
Hi Avishek - thanks for the comment - QlikView videos are here: community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-1986 Qlik Sense videos are here: ua-cam.com/channels/FxZPr8pHfZS0n3jxx74rpA.html and also some others in the Qlik Community: community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-6932 - please join us in the Qlik Community where we are better equipped to assist you and answer your questions.
Great Video! Very useful. One question though, at the end you do the year/today function, what about the poor label? Would it be possibly to that to update to display the year, or month even to remove all doubt that it is the date you'd picked?
Good Question Mike - currently it seems that the label property does not allow dynamic functions yet, but you could use the Appearance->General properties and dynamically create a subtitle, title, and footnote. Please note - its better to also join the Qlik Community and open discussions there as we are better equipped to help you there.
+Alexandre Zacarias Hi Alex - I have a few planned, looking at doing one on AGGR next. Note - we don't always check the comments in YT, it is best to post these types of questions in the qlik community. community.qlik.com

Hi Michael, this was very helpful. Is there a way to link the conditional value in an expression based on a filter pane's value? Ex - Let's say - i have a filter that selects two values 'A' and 'B'. I have a bar chart that sums values based on the following : Sum({} Sales) /Sum(Sales)). can i make the var A dynamic based on a value i select from a filter pane? Thanks

I was trying to create a MAP of US states with corresponding sales figure..How can I use Set Analysis in this case , or Do i need to use some other function.
Hey thank you for your amazing videos! How can I make a pie chart with the sales of all years but dividing them into 2. 1st set is Sales of 2015, 2nd set is Sales of other years (total of them).
Hi Berrin - thanks for your question - questions like this are best for the Qlik Community - please look for the New to Qlik Sense forum and post there - and one of our valued community members and Qlik experts can help you.
Hi Jr - best place for questions like this is the Qlik Community - however check out this community document and video - it covers dimension limits - which provides the similar functionality you are looking for: community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-7006
Hi. Is there a way to get the legend titles within the chart. For example Country on the X-axis, values on the Y-axis and the name of the legend(babywear, sportwear) on the charts.
Hi Chirayu - first if you can post questions like this in the Qlik Community forums - community.qlik.com, that would be best as we are better prepared and can reply to you much quicker as the entire Qlik community is available to you. In reply to your question - yes - you need to have both dimensions in the char - , Category, Country then group the chart presentation as stacked and then color by Category - this will give you the country values along the X-axis and the stacked colors for each category will be in the bars - and the legend will reflect those colors. If this is not what you are looking for, please post in the Qlik community - tag me by typing @michael_tarallo and select mto from the list and I will be notified and I can further assist. Thanks!
Hello!! thanks for the video. Im trying to upload the dashboard always using the last date of the database. I have tried using max (date) function but the result is always cero (in fact the result is a "-"). What cant i do. Is is possible in Qlik Sense Desktop?
Hello Alejandra - thanks for your question - I would suggest posting this topic in the Qlik Community forums - community.qlik.com/welcome - we'll see you there.
Hey Mike, could you tell me where is the problem with this formula? I ve tried a lot and it doenst work, i need to see the results in the year before. sum({$}importe_tarj), thanks a lot i m a very beginer here.
Hi Calzalindo - thanks for your question - it's best to post these types of questions in the Qlik community because I can attach samples and screen shots etc. Looking at this - you are missing the $ in the dollar expansion example - see from 13:32 and let me know how you do. :-)
Hi Deepali - in short - the $ expansion syntax $(= function()) enables you to use a formula / function / expression as a parameter / argument to resolve to a value - so it can be used in a Set Analysis Expression - so - would take in the current year for today's date and resolve to 2018 - let me know if you need more information.
