Hello, thanks for the tutorial! It seems to work by taking the value of a "field" but not the value of the dimension. Is there a way to make it pick the value of the dimension instead of the field? For example, if you assign some colors int the dimension "Country" USA -> blue, selecting then the USA won't show the blue color. This is because it is linked to the field and not the dimension. Is there a way to fix this?
@@thinkmetrics the idea is that the color is defined in the dimension already. I don't wish to re-assign new colors in another place. can you give it a try to see if you manage to reproduce my problem?
Hi, Just want to know if it is possible to cover the below enhancement in the scatter plot. I need a scatter chart with 3 measures to be shown on the drop-down on top. By selecting each measure, the other 2 related measures should also calculate accordingly and provide the scatter point.
I have created a list box with values from a field called vessel but when I select any value from the drop-down list other visuals are not interactive can u plzz help me out on this
I know '$' sign useful in set analysis But Could you tell why you added a '$' infront of the variable name in master items or in 'show column if'. What is the purpose of $ here.
Thank you Sir for making such informative videos for beginners. I am also working on qliksense. It will be very awesome information from scratch to advanced. 👍👍 Thank you so much sir 💗

I honestly cannot thank you enough! You saved me from making 22 tabs with just a different dimension in each! Thanks Alot!!

Same here! 😀
Can you share the video for the multiple selections of dimensions or measures in drop down.
Excellent love it, do you have any more such tricks please?

I find that strange. You could use the match function to catch the dimension value and assign a color to it, right?

Hi
Do you provide training on Qlik sense ?
Check the description below.
cant we achieve the same result by using vizlib extension "Custom Report"??
You can now use the new straight table feature

Can you show us how to hide the Dimension Data in a table using the Variable Input Control ?
You can use the same technique using the show column function
