God! This is so incredibly great! I've listened to over 100 fantasy novels and web novels. After a while, they all started to sound the same; in fact, I almost skipped this and merely clicked on it out of a combination of boredom and because the picture on the thumbnail looked interesting.
Anyway, without spoiling this, let me just say this is a different kind of overpowered fantasy story, and both the comedy and action are just right... I am seeing a lot of plot similarities to the novel "Solo Leveling," but I'm praying it doesn't go that cliche predictable route where a badass main character who had to work hard and struggle to get strong becomes just another Mary-Sue.
Seriously. Everyone trying a different version of "solo leveling". That's all

How many Evans are there and who the hell is ray😂😂😂 the first 15 mins is a clusterfuck. Evan almost died, sacrificed his shadow skill but 12 hours earlier he actually died then some guy named Ray transmigrated into his body. So what is the MCs real name and who is the real Evan. This author is really not good at starting stories.
The timeline is confusing in the beginning and the author keeps repeating themselves.
I think the timeline is:
1) ray is from our world, or a similar one. He gets killed by a hit and run driver.
2) he becomes a 16 year old named Evan, who has shadow powers.
3) Evan can't upgrade because he can't get shadow cores, and gets teased by his classmates for being weak.
4) he gives shadow powers to a demon so he can more easily upgrade.
But the timeline jumps around so much I'm not sure.

Its like you made AI read 100 similar books with the same premise, and had it write a stories with "X" amount of words per sentence, per paragraph and per chapter.
Nice story telling, just.. if you gonna use the AI/auto translation to speech you should fix some subtle problems.. at 5:10 for example, protagonist feels extreme pain and yells, but the text-to-speech merely says "argh" or "arkh" as if he is barking like a dog, I'm sure that wile ill keep watching ill notice more of such examples..
Thank you for the observation. Some AIs are unable to scream, no matter how many !!!!!! there are. I am fixing subtle problems in regex, so the audio comes without ridiculous and annoying signs, which are numerously in the original. I know its not great, but hopefully not terrible either.
@@TheSilentRuptor its actually fine, those subtle problems are a bit annoying but are still tolerable, its an overall very good job imo

I dont know if its just me but at the ogre part i kept hearing ogR and its just so weird but maybe its just accent idk

Seems to be pretty typical power fantasy plot honestly.
The MC starts off isekaing as a weak loser orphan in a game-like world. Due to unfortunate circumstances despite awakening his "core" (read: game stats) he can't level up, making him the weakest "hunter" around.
Of course he very quickly (storywise, longer in-setting) experiences near death situation and gets rid of his limitation while also becoming super extra special with a second "core" that is superior to everyone else's. The only downside is that his cheat core's power is capped by his "just normal" core.
From then on rest of the 50 chapters are about MC introducing us to the world while amazing both himself and others with how super extra special he is.
I'd guess I'd rate this as 4/5 power fantasy and 2/5 overall. I guess the story is bit more creative than average with the cheat system just being vastly superior version of the setting's normal system and not having arbitrary point system with arbitrary lottery-based power ups...

Also, make your MC retarded. Why can't he just fight in F or E rank dungeons? Sure, he can't use the cores, as they aren't shadow cores, but we know E rank cores sell for 10k, and D ranks only cost 30k. Just trade the weaker ones for the one you need, kid. You can also sell them to solve your money problems.

You'd think by now with so many of these out, writers would read over their own work. It blows my mind and makes me stop reading or watching instantly when an MC who is in a life or death situation who also has people he needs to protect with him, goes to attack the enemy and punches or kicks, or does anything other than use his deadly weapon right off the bat. Basically drag on the situation for no reason when things could have been handled instantly. I don't care if it's an anime, manga, movie, TV show or whatever. DBZ style prolonged fight Sean's are ridiculously boring and annoying, no matter how good it is. Even Thor learned, and went for the head for an insta kill on Thanos. 🙎🥱
