Nice review, added information is good…I just booked for our annual family vacation to this resort this morning Feb 8,2024, for April…coming back to Mexico after a long absence, Punta Cana is my favourites, sure has changed from the reviews I watched. Hope to have fun in the sun. 👍
I’m booked for next month with my son and granddaughter. I really wish some night shots were taken as I’d like to see what dress ware is for dining. Need to know what to pack and it’s a first time travel for my son
Thank you for watching. Dining for most nights is casual, but no swimsuits. We typically wore (me) dress shots and a nice tee shirt, polo, and occasionally a button down. My wife typically wore a dress (nothing super fancy, think sundress) and sandals. We hope you have an amazing vacation.
I did see a small crocodile on the way into Royalton Riviera Cancun in 2015. There are mangroves just off the road. It was moving from the edge of the road back into the mangroves.
In the basic room, I keep reading about lacking privacy for the bathroom area...but didn't see your room in the walking tour. Will a family of 4 with 2 teens be able to make the bathroom and shower work?
Thank you for watching. They are diligently working to complete it. They are hoping to have the waterslides done by the end of March and the entire resort at 100% by June. With that said, it was still very enjoyable.
Thank you again for watching. During our time at this resort, there was not a designated disco or night club. Not sure if this has changed since. There were frequent shows outside by the pool that had lots of dancing and other events during the evenings, but they didn't stay open too late. Thanks again and happy vacationing.

Great info ..planning to go in July with the wife and kids ...was there any issues with the restaurants reservations ..waiting ?? We took the diamond club package..and even if there is an issue with waiting . What would be the best time to go for dinner to offset waiting times ...thanks

There are times when the smell from the mangroves and a small building in front of the resort will wonder into the resort area. From our experience, this is short lived and does not affect the back (ocean side) of the resort where all of the activities are. It seems to mostly occur during/after heavy rains while we were here.
