- A code 5 drunk suspect is brought into jail and causes disruption in the booking area, forcing the officers to throw the suspect into an isolation cell. Elsewhere, rowdy drunk suspects refuse to cooperate and are forced into a restraint chairs.
Jail is an American documentary reality television series that follows suspects in custody from booking through to incarceration. The show documents events in different jails across the U.S. Jail is the sister show to Cops, a show that follows police officers on patrol.

I see police as citizen soldiers who protect us from crime and harm. I salute you...
I have 4 middle-aged sons who have either died from or are suffering from hereditary kidney disease. To see these young, good-looking, supposedly healthy sons and daughters trashing their lives--and their families' lives--with drugs, alcohol, and putrid behavior is beyond comprehension and so incredibly sad..

I give these officers credit for the patients and self control they have.

Much respect for Officer Camiletti, you’re absolutely right. I hope you get promoted and become a teacher in this area. This job is not easy as people like to tell you how to do your job. If you are taught how to de-escalate situations, your job becomes much easier.
Rhonda’s poem is excellent, she is quite the character. That female officer taking care of Rhonda is very good at her job. The young girl with guitar should not have been arrested as she would be totally co-operative as well as blonde female, neither would be an issue- wonder if same officer made both arrests.
As an Australian watching this program, I'm impressed with the professionalism the Las Vegas police department & the myriad of roles they have to undertake.

I know how c0ps are when my wife started watching these I couldn't believe how calm they were compared to the rest of the sheriffs dept and p0lice.
Filming probably is the difference.
Do you know even when use of force is used the body cameras aren't reviewed unless a complaint is filed and even then they may not.
They will beat you for the slightest hint of disrespect while they antagonize and patronize you.

Yes...I just wanted to hug Josh and play mom, (which I done a few times to those who seemed like it would help)... tell him to just let me be a mom...to hold him and let him know what a good boy he is...that sometimes his behavior is bad, but he is loveable...and to just let the dude cry. Some people just dont get that stuff at home early on. I've had grown men just weep and tell me thanks. Most of these cops have shown that patience and willingness to understand each person... I was telling a cop in my town that "everyone has a different story"...there are reasons they get there.

These cops are corrupt liars. That dude said over and over he called 911 to report an assault and even told the 911 caller that he had marijuana on him. Why is he being arrested? What about the person who assaulted him? Did they arrest him?
Just remember that this is 14 years old. Marijuana was still treated as an illegal substance just about everywhere. Wouldn’t happen today in Nevada in a private residence.

I don't see that in this footage, although I think that one female CO was trying to stir things up between the two women with the car assault and the baby daddy. That seemed out of line. I wouldn't trust her based on this interaction.

Granted, it was the female officer that told her to wash her face, but isn't she there for DUI? SHE IS INTOXICATED.
