- Officers deal with all sorts of unusual suspects in jail. Three drunk step-brothers provide entertainment to the officers. However, their inability to quieten down puts them in an isolation cell. A female suspect is furious at her mother for placing her daughter in jail. A suspect is caught padding his tshirt with toilet roll and making toilet roll shoes in a side cell.
Jail is an American documentary reality television series that follows suspects in custody from booking through to incarceration. The show documents events in different jails across the U.S. Jail is the sister show to Cops, a show that follows police officers on patrol.

You can really tell. It’s like when you know an alcoholic and you can tell they’re drunk because their face and especially their eyes look totally different. They’re like another person. Black eyes.

😮 my 9 and 12 year old sons are going through this phase (please be a phase) it's crazy! They used to be so close but now they are developing their own personalities and when one disagrees the other snips back then it's on. Just being rude as all get out. Some times it's super quiet. I wonder what happened 😅 Sheesh, I would not wish kids arguing on anybody but knowing others understand what it's like is a little bit calming. 🙏🙌✌️

I absolutely agree with you....that said...uhm....it does make me wonder how they would be behaving and interacting with these recently arrested individuals had a camera NOT been filming them for some "Reality" T.V. show.
Angers me so much that DUIs are just a misdemeanor! Looked upon like they're no big deal... Until it's one of your family members that is killed by drunk driver!!!

My son is homeless in Flo I do so hope the people who get him in jail from time to time are as kind to him as they are on this show. BTW my son has major mental health issues .

I wish we had a better healthcare system, a large portion of the homeless population are mentally ill. Love to you and your son, I hope things get better for him.

I was born in Frostburg MD, and lived many years in Jacksonville and Leesburg, both my boys were born in Jacksonville and both went thru a depressing period, my youngest was homeless in Jacksonville and Cumberland MD. They were angry at me for what they believed was my blame for leaving their sermon Dad for good, the dad chose drugs and alcohol over his boys, I made alot of mistakes while I was working and supporting them. I was so hurt that my boys chose drugs after I took them away from that!! What is your son's age? My oldest son wife divorced him which put him in a depression that swallowed his pride, soul and any hope of staying in this world. He was diagnosed w/ diabetes during this, I know he must of felt so worthless to his babies, he was smart, worked but had a need to be in control. Say hello to your kid whenever u see him, if he has MHI you might be able to get him shelter? My oldest gave up on trying when his wife divorced and just laid down one day and went to sleep forever
Much success, prayer and carefully saying I know how you feel, you hurt every day but please check out services and get him help

I was hooked up with alcohol for along time.After watching this, its been five months without alcohol and my life has changed tremendously. God is a merciful God.

I hope people see this and remember you are not a throwaway person. You are not trash. You have a talent you have gifts and a soul. Try to remember no matter how many negative steps you have taken positive steps can make a huge difference. Don't give up and if you fall down, get back up. There is a real light at the end of the tunnel. You can change and you can be amazing. Stay positive.

ur wrong. i’ve been doing FENTANYL since 12 (i’m now 17) bc my father gave me singular pills telling me it was advil & i’m 100% not dead. at least not that i know.

Three kids with one man and she is only twenty years old and she has been a prostitute from the age of 13. That is sad. She has a lot of work to do to get turned around. The good thing is that it appears she is not an addict. Her start to a new life style is kinda rocky,
When I was on jury duty we were given a tour of the in-take, jail house holding cell and galley, (where we were served lunch by some of the inmates). I had a chance to sit in one of those cool-off chairs and they are definitely not made for comfort.
Not only many episodes I hadn’t seen yet but restraint chair bonanza, it was in every other scene! Wish they’d fix that squeaky wheel though

I have been on the fence about Universal Healthcare in the US, until i heard the pain in that man's voice about his daughter. That broke me. Turning to drugs and alcohol is not the solution, but damn i understand. Nobody should be in a place where you can't provide healthcare for your children.

Many can’t afford it and most men won’t wear condoms. You have to remember she was a foster kid adopted by a child rapist. She ran away from him at 13 and had to survive on her own. I’m sure the children weren’t planned but she didn’t lose them to the system like her parents most likely did. I give her much credit for being a survivor ❤

I’ve been to an asylum. Spent 3 weeks in Choate mental health facility in Anna, Illinois . This is waaayyy worse than anything in there. Alcohol makes good men into animals

That thin lady was so upset and I feel like it meant a lot to her to get that note from the cleaning inmate. When you feel so alone and your life is in the sh*tter any kind of attention can mean a lot.

Its so strange that the same people who wont talk to the arresting officer immediately confess to major crimes to jail officers. Its like they dont think jail guards are real cops who will not only testify, they are usually filming interactions.
Its so wierd hearing people charged for marijuana when I know I have bought it legally in a store in Las Vegas.
I support the legalization of most drugs, but not meth for obvious reasons exhibited here.
It takes a special kind of person to work in a place like that daily and still remain cheerful, I would never do it, For me it would be hell on earth.

Narcan only works for fentanyl I believe
It works for opiods and is used for life threatening over doses but not for people under the influence

He's saying he has an alcohol problem and he needs to go back to work etc. The thing that gets me, the fact that this is happening to his daughter not him and just imagine how she is feeling. I bet she would love to be able to have a drink and try and forget what's happening to her. This is a typical human reaction with stress and being completely selfish! Stop thinking about yourself and think about how your daughter is feeling instead!
i agree! i sympathize with him, that’s an extremely tough situation for a parent but he needs to realize that he needs to work on his addiction, go back to work & get some therapy to do right by his daughter. it would be much better for him, his wife & his daughter if he got some help. i hope he was able to move past thing & that his daughter is doing better

This is sad. It shows how people can actually commit minor or horrific crimes...wake up in a jail cell and have absolutely no recollection. Not only sad, but scary. Think of how many people are incarcerated for crimes they don't remember. Crimes they would never have committed if it weren't for their addiction. Some ppl don't need jail. They need ACTUAL rehabilitation.

It's probably better than all the codiene and Oxycodone I was swallowing but I also get sick of being in pain constantly. Totally agree. They were loud but she was working with them. Then boss man came over and had to prove he was a bigger man. That’s why when you watch these you see how much better some deal with the female officers
As much as I love and respect Officer Sittar she needs to remember that Officers are supposed to maintain their composure, not push their buttons and make hot button comments to get people fired up and talk down to them and treat them like kids or worse. You get much better results when you keep your cool and remain calm and respectful, regardless how the suspects are acting. It’s a real patronizing attitude that you carry. I know it’s easier said than done believe me I get that. The best example that I can give of the perfect attitude that an officer should maintain and carry is the Sergeant from Boston that either works for Vegas Metro or maybe he retired now but he was amazing. Learn from his example

I don't drink alcohol and then i see this. Thinking about the past History of Prohibition of Alcohol. Some parts of the country have Dry Counties for this exact reason.
