Ahh no sorry but the Tesla Model 3 and Y standard range is actually 57kwh useable, so only 6kwh bigger than the 51kwh MG4 and slightly smaller than the 64k(61.7kwh useable) MG4
Thanks Greg and I appreciate the correction. I used the long range Tesla model data as a comparison by mistake. Which makes the MG4 an even better deal.
Here in NZ no surcharge for any paint colour, I have ordered MG4 51 Excite Camden Grey plus ORC less govt rebate at current NZD/AUD rates is $37,937 AUD. Main reason chose this was LFP 100% charge and more charge cycle battery.

Good question, MG appear to have ensured they have a competitive entry point to the Australian market, but a good reputation going the same thing here with ICE cars as well. You're right though, time will tell.
