This is one of the nicest Polestar 2's we've seen, and a great alternative to a Tesla - plenty of options and it's like new!

While most of the things you say are logical and non-controversial to anyone who's done a tiny bit of research, hybrids ARE indeed a stop gap for the people who have range anxiety, who aren't ready to jump all the way in EVs and who can't afford (or don't want) to have an EV and a ICE car in their garage. And while there ARE more parts that can break, buy a good quality hybrid and nothing breaks, much like nothing breaks on a good quality EV or ICE car.

30c per kWh is crazy for off peak power. Surely you can beat that. I use Amber and get a variable wholesale rate that regularly goes down to about 4c per kWh. Great video btw, well done.

It was an honour and an absolute pleasure to meet Simon Hackett and hear the story of the first Tesla (Roadster) in Australia - hard to believe it's 15 years ago now!

As much as we love Jeremy, he kicked off our 10 used EV myths calling them White Goods, and S^&t - the rest were ones we hear over and and over again about EV's

I can't be bothered to watch this (I do my bit for the environment by driving very old cars (no wasted resources building new cars on my watch) and doing low miles). Can you just tell me what EVs are available that will get me 500 miles on one charge, are as fun to drive as a RWD, big-engined petrol manual sports car and can be purchased for under £5k in the UK on the second hand market. Also they need to be impossible to write off as a result of a minor accident that damages the battery.

Brilliantly done, been in the EV space since 2018 and we need people like this in the mainstream media to tell it how it is and not have the shackles over advertisers, sponsors influencing what is said. Right now is the biggest battle as sadly some brands appear to have used EV's as a away to get market awareness but then hit us in the gust with PHEV's and Hybrids. Keep up the excellent work.

I clearly remember the test the auto journalist Julian Edgar did on Simon's first Roadster. Julian wrote for his on- line magazine Autospeed (sadly long gone) and as as objective and honest writer, was genuinely blown away by it. The great thing about Julian is he was so honest many car companies stopped giving him cars to review!

I would love an original Roadster to sit along side my IMiEV, the OG of the Modern Mass produced EV. future collectors items.

Should probably warn Tesla owners that if they do drive their teslas fast they'll void thier warranty.
