Great Vid Rosco! My pick for EVOTY? Of course it has to be the BYD Seal! Cracking the Japanese Top 10 shows how good a car it actually is...but when you take its price into account imo it can't be beat when it comes to value for money!

Hey Rosco and Mrs Amazing. Great work and cool concept to do the best of the best. My personal pick would be the Polestar 3, as that is what I would drive but I’m okay with flying under the radar. Interesting it is on the same platform as the EX90. My second place would be the Ioniq 5 N. Also, I downvote all Tesla, because I don’t really like the cars don’t want to support Musk.

We had a lot of fun researching all these Amazing EV's, but now it's up to you, vote your favourite or nominate something we've missed for EVOTY 2025.

Nice Rosco, great to hear from the EV council , but IMO they are still way to quiet in the media as compared to the say the FCAI. I just hope the next CEO is a someone who can take on the media and politicians to stop the alienation of EV buyers and correct the FUD.

We really enjoyed this chat with Ross about all the great work the EVC does in Australia, only to find out he's leaving, He'll be missed but we wish him well and the we look forward to the EVC continuing their work promoting EV's. Bring on 2025!

Thanks @Rabs73, appreciate you watching and your thoughts. Agree, completely, I think the Owner is mentioning it to try and differentiate between this one, LFP, and the previous battery. As you said, previously possible, but not recommended. This model, possible and recommended by Tesla, 100% at least once a week. Stay tuned and subcribed!

Nice car. I do think it's important to dispel the myth you can't charge nickel based EV batteries to 100%. You can indeed use 100% whenever you need the range for a long trip (and with negligible inpact on the battery). Just not advisable to keep them at a very high state of charge for hours and days. Of course LFP is easier that way but is still impacted by being kept at 100% for long periods of time, just not as much

That’s not a bad idea at all in general - if someone from Sydney city/Wollongong/Cronulla/Hornsby/Penrith/Parramatta/Liverpool needs to meetup with someone from Newcastle/Nelson Bay to swap a car and take hold of a car, meet up at ‘124 Faunce Street, Gosford NSW 2250’ (the big car park), or the other side of the train station ‘37 Showground Road, Gosford NSW 2250’
