Simulator - dual Sortie - aero medical evaluation to be cleared for flying branch - Stage 1 - for stage 2 , we're sent to hakimpet - and sorties are divided into 3 parts - helicopter, transport and fighter jet like kiran Mark 1 - here cadet goes advanced - 100 hours of flight by every cadet then only stage 2 is cleared and we are sent to instructor for marching for graduation parade.

Why don't they do medical-check up before training?
Medical check is always done before flight.
Cadets enter academy only after clearing their entry medicals. The doctor was only talking about medicals done in between different stages
