Border Jumpers are not the equivalent of ‘strangers’ in the OT.
In those days, the ‘stranger’ came through the front gate and asked to be there; not hop the wall and demand free eggs and stew not to mention free housing, health care and education.
As Milton Friedman said, you can’t have both open borders and a welfare state.

Remember who is in charge of what is "trending" on social media. What they allow is only a distraction to what is really going on.

In all fairness, Russell Moore is not pro open borders or advocating that noncitizens vote. He is speaking towards aspects of problematic rhetoric. He advocates for immigration reform. Obviously there is a change that needs made to the laws. Reform would be necessary to make that effective. Both conservatives and progressives would agree change is needed as such both would be advocates for reform.
Moore sees problems with permanent separation of families at the border. So he speaks against that. That is not a law that is an executive order.
This is a Republican perspective speech about southern border situation, instead of what does the Bible teaches about immigration.
