Med ball throws mimicking the shot technique helps. Do you bend your knees? If so, you're using your legs but just not feeling it or there's a timing disconnect between lower and upper body. Power cleans alamd snatches are great exercises to help with the timing. You can't clean or snatch without using legs and shot and duscus are similar. These are just a couple of things. Obe last thing, slow your movements down and focus on your lower body. You may be in a hurry to kill it and that usually leads to utilizing only the upper body. I hope this helps.
Hey Coach. I wanted to ask. I have a major problem which is that my chest isn’t straight facing the middle of the sector so I throw early every throw and sector. What drills could I do to work on to hold the disc longer and square up my chest to the middle of the ring?
@@ThrowsUniversity I know I'm a bit late but I have a huge problem with the fire hydrant thing. I have for years. How do I fix this. I cant get the feeling of it staying grounded. Is it like a weight shift thing or like what should I be feeling to fix it
@@robdestroyer374 When you start your spin, assuming your right handed, get your left foot turned all the way facing the left line of the sector before you push to the center. Stopping the turning of the left foot too early out of the back half results in under rotating at the front/falling off balance.

TRY coming out of the back and pausing in the middle, facing the sector and really feel that stretch across chest, then half turn into a throw
