You should give the phantom another try with a 450 2s or 300mah 3s. It's really setting a handicap to run that big of a 2s in it against the two tinyhawks.
@@Largetalons True and I will try it with the smaller battery packs.. I run 550 and 520's on my Tinyhawk original and the s version and they are still nimble.
Well the manufacturer recommends 300mah 3s for the phantom and with an 11 minute reported flight I would wager that performance is being traded off for flight times with that setup.
I wanted a mob6 but they are sold out everywhere, so I ordered one of these. I just want something to rip up and down my street, not far, and I'm impressed with this little one. Thanks for your review, and it's always a pleasure to watch you fly.

Good review Andy! Emax are smashing it at the moment. I've got the tinyhawk v1 & v2. I'm definitely going to be getting this little beast for a bit of playground fun and tight spaces where a 3 inch would be too much. They are really good at releasing products that are just bind and fly and no bother with pids and other annoyances! i've flown the v1 tinyhawk to within an inch of it's life and all i've broken are props! couple of quid later and boom, your back in the air again😊. Nice! There are so many type of multi rotors now. How about making an overview video about different types of quads? Discussing in which respect they overlap in their qualities and in which way they are different. What type of flying and what type of pilot should choose the one type or another? Should we be building some or all of these types of models to get for example value for the money, quality, performance or creative satisfaction?

Try some gemfan 2540. Its lighter.
I did. less power i found
Nicely done Andy thorough as always.
India Bihar me hai??
Nice quality.
Nice! There are so many type of multi rotors now. How about making an overview video about different types of quads? Discussing in which respect they overlap in their qualities and in which way they are different. What type of flying and what type of pilot should choose the one type or another? Should we be building some or all of these types of models to get for example value for the money, quality, performance or creative satisfaction?
its so hard to do with a new model coming out every day. ny favorites are the skystars starlord for 5 inch freestlye. for a racer id custom build 6s these days. for a beginner would be the original tiny hawk. a 3 inch racer would be the diatone gtr 369 with my tune and cinewhoop would be the geprc cinepro4k
@@AndyRCchannel Thanks for the quick reply Andy! Yes, it is definitely difficult to keep up with all the models that the manufacturers are pumping out. Therefore I thought it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on why should one fly a whoop or a 5 inch freestyle or racer or similar. How are the experiences similar and how are they different? What makes the different styles fun or a good choice so to say :)
Emax Tinyhawk Freestyle or the Geprc Phantom?
emax for power and flight time. geprc for range
