- World Athletics has banned trans athletes from competing in women’s events leading to controversy and praise.
British Shot Put Champion Amelia Strickler says “A lot of women especially in athletics are really really excited about this - now that we’ve got the elite level, it needs to be all levels all sports.”
“Biologically, they’re still the sex that they’re competing against - reducing a testosterone level is not gonna cut it because women are so much more than a testosterone level,” she said.

Men competing against women in weightlifting and physical sports, is like an adult competing against a child, and the audacity that these men had to celebrate their hollow victory fills me with anger. How humiliating it must have been to work your entire life overcoming all the obstacles in your way, only for some dude who would never stand a chance at men's sports to come along and take the title away from you, simply because he was born with a nutsack.

And they are interested mainly in men´s sports. Even the majority of the viewers of women´s sports are men. This is just the first successful push back - as Amelia, said, it needs to be applied across all sports and at all levels; not just Olympics, not just Track & Field.

It really bothers me when people use exceptions to argue generalities. This gentleman using the example that of the trans football player that is smaller and weaker than their female teammates isn’t an argument for trans athletes in sports, it’s actually the opposite. That trans athlete simply isn’t built for the sport they’re attempting to compete it which is the case for the vast majority of society. Most of us aren’t big enough, strong enough, fast enough etc. to play professional sports. That isn’t society being unfair, that is nature being unfair which is just a harsh reality ther trans athletes need to accept.

In terms of cardiorespiratory physiology and anatomy, the maximum male (XY) cardiac output is 24 litres/minute, and the maximum female (XX) is 18 litres/minute. The maximum male lung capacity is 6 litres and the average female is 4.5 litres. Those born biologically male (XY), therefore have a significant advantage over those born biologically female (XX), regardless of hormone status.
The differences in pelvic and knee anatomy result in different loads and frequencies of injury between the sexes. The female pelvis is wider with a tendency to femoral neck anteversion, resulting in an intoeing gait. The female lower limbs tend to be shorter and this combined with the wider pelvis results in a greater Q angle at the knees. That was really annoying when New Zealand Athletics applied to let Hubbard compete as female weightlifter. There was near zero support when they simply stated what they were going to do. No asking or submisiions from the public allowed.

If nobody had an advantage in sports competitions then every match would end up in a draw. Some people are better than others at sports and therefore they rise to the top. However There is a big difference between men and women so therefore there are two separate categories.
We need to be able to make logical distinctions in terms of rules and laws in areas where it is obvious to most reasonable people that doing otherwise would be unfair. As in the case of biologicals males competing in women sports. Likewise we should be tolerant and not try to harm others simply because we do not like their choices. Unlike what has been taught to many college students, we have made huge strides in this area over many decades. The people who are teaching this nonsense are not motivated out of caring, they are motivated to appear to be relevant. They want to be seen as heroes. The best way to move this pendulum back to the side of common sense and decency is to treat everyone with respect. Understanding that they count even though we strongly disagree with them. Then we need to let our voice be heard as we speak up for the truth. With our hearts and minds in the right place the shaming and name calling tactics to shut voices down will continue to be less and less effective.

There is a simple solution just add a third category. Male female and trans or undecided . This gives everyone a group to compete in
its not, in the mental gymnastics that is an actual trans person's crazy head (not the frauds that are there to get a free win) It is considered "unfair". Not because men are stronger at sports, but because they truly believe they aren't men. Thus even the most reasonable (notice i didn't use the word 'sane') of the trans community would not agree to a trans-only global competition that easily. Cause they WANT to be real women and ACKNOWLEDGED as such (Again, excluding the cheating frauds).
This isn't the special oylmpics where they don't have the mental capacity to understand the difference, and if they do, are normal and sane to be proud of being good enough to partake in it.

There already are Open championships that anyone can compete in male or female. They just want an easy win. Realistically if there was a trans category most competitions would have only one competitor.
