Peace friends. I just wanted to point out that, in addition to the friendly Bavarians, there are also some very committed Scots friends in the north of Germany. For example, there is a certain rivalry between Bayern Munich and FC St Pauli. Not quite as bad as between Rangers and Celtic, but something along those lines. I'm very happy about the warm welcome for the Scottish team in Bavaria and am keeping both fingers crossed for the team.

Die beiden Vereine und Fangruppen (Schickeria München und USP) sind gut befreundet. Das hat alles damit angefangen, dass Münchener Ultra Anhängern ihre Dauerkarte nach Auseinandersetzungen mit der Polizei entnommen werden sollten und Anhänger des FC St.Pauli sich juristisch für die Münchener eingesetzt haben. München hat Pauli dann 2003 mit vor der Insolvenz gerettet. Rivalitäten entstehen meines Erachtens nach nicht einfach so und bestehen im Fußball meistens auch schon länger unter zwei Mannschaften. Zumal es eigentlich keine Gründe für eine Rivalität zwischen den beiden Vereinen gäbe ;) die haben sich gern ✌🏼

scots and irish could visit the Heuneburg (Badem Wuerttemberg) to study how their celtic ancestors lived 2500 years ago (lets not forget that not just proto-germanic came from northern germany but also proto-celtic from south germany/austria (hallstatt culture) ...
