Tartan army should have played highland cathedral at the dome - you would all have become cologne citizens instantly (search for Du bes die Stadt by Bläck Föös, and you will understand why the song is special for cologne)

Una lástima la eliminación de Escocia de la Eurocopa 2024, me encanta ese torneo, lo miro desde Argentina, escoceses y holandeses son las mejores hinchadas por lo que vi.
Me encanta que la gente pueda disfrutar y festejar bebiendo alcohol sin desmanes. Aquí en Sudamerica lamentablemente es imposible, la policía reprime a todos sin distinguir a quienes hacen desmanes de entre los que se comportan correctamente.
Además hay varios candidatos a ganar el título, es emocionante porque es bastante parejo, en cambio en la Copa América el mayor candidato es Argentina 😎, pese a que nos tilden de arrogantes.

I've been to Munich a few days after the opening game. I went to a pub to watch another game and I was surrounded by Scottish fans. One of them asked me if I'm German and I just said "yes" - then all the guys at the table said "well, we lost because our team couldn't score a single goal. The one we had was a special gift from you guys so we don't loose too heavy" and then the party started. I didn''t even notice the time flying and after 4 hours I had to leave. I moved to Salzburg, Austria 2 years ago and the train ride there is 2 hours...
As a Scot who’s been away from home since I was 4 they was amazing they did there best ❤

Während Deutsche in und/oder Schwarz-Rot-Gold, meist durch dummes angetrunkenes Ballermann-Niveau auffallen.

4% of Scotland went to support and every major city here in Scotland put on massive fanzones for every Scotland game , it’s truly been amazing seeing how well us Scot’s and the beautiful Germans have embraced each other and had such an amazing time , I know anytime I bump into a German tourist here they will be welcomed and embraced the same way they did us 🏴🇩🇪♥️

Its probably due to that very fact that the Scots are a distinctly European people, the Scots have never forgotten their roots and sense of identity of who they are as a group..with their culture, heritage and traditions. It was have been refreshing for the Germans to see this. The Scots loved being in Germany and appreciated Germany the country and the German people..the Scots see the Germans as fellow European people, the Scots actually appreciated Germany, with the wonderful architecture and rich history Germany has too.

Usually I'm getting a little nervous with soccer people, marches, drinking and singing. Unless they carry bagpipes and wear kilts :-) The Flower of Scotland gives me goosebumps.
