Never got the chance to watch this video. Hanson’s point is go-to for overnight trips. Your campsite in this video is the one I always stay at. Great seeing your old gear, and how you’ve changed things over the years.
I've watched most of your beginner camping videos. I learned a lot, you do a really good job. I'm planning to do more wilderness camping. I took special note of your feelings at the end of your first day trekking the Red River Gorge when the storm hit. The reality and honesty of your feelings in that situation really hit home for me - it was a plus that in some weird way I believe has helped to give me more confidence. Thank you and keep up the good work. Ray
We went to Shenandoah in late Oct of 2019 and it was soooooo crowded. It really took away from the tranquil experience that I've come to know and love about NPs and nature. ANyway, we were gonna do Smokies and Mammoth Cave nps in May 2020 but crossed off Smokie s (too darn crowded) Thanks to UA-cam and this video, we're doing Mammoth and Red River Gorge geological area! I'm so stoked! Thanks for this awesome video and thanks for NOT editing out your mini panic. It makes us less experienced hikers know what not to do plus helps us to know that even the most experienced CAN panic if they allow themselves! Humility wins every time! Thanks again! Red River Gorge 2020, here we come!
I just listened to you on John & Jerimiah's Podcast. I will be heading to the RRG for the first time the week of Easter '21. Thanks for the guidance, this is certainly one of the places I want to get to. Tom in Michigan...
Well done your hiking videos are the best. I suspect the pole is to hang a lantern. I lost the trail in Yosemite exploring and I know how you felt! I was not 100 yds off but couldn't see it since there was little foliage or trees so everything looked the same. I only found it after seeing a couple guys thankfully since we were farther up than most people went.
Love your work...thanks for putting ego aside needed to see the possible elements and the way you handled the issue. I am a recent subscriber and just put a pack together thanks to you. Looking forward to my very first overnight hike. Keep up the great work!!!
I like your way of showing us your route on the map, it's a nice visual and reference point. The Smart Water bottles are great! They're lightweight and long so I don't have to reach far behind me to get it and it's easier to put back in the pack. I also like the sip spout on them.
You picked an ambitious route. And, yes, it's easy to get turned around on those ridgetops. Hanson's is the farthest point on the ridge. There are at least 2 other overlooks near it.
Great video- thanks for sharing! I hiked there two summers ago and loved it. We had trouble finding decent campsites though. Thanks to your video I have a few new ideas.
Another great vid! My first night in a hammock was thunderstorms and 50+mph wind gusts, sounded like a freight train the entire night, but I was in my backyard.. Looked like some scary moments there, but awesome you made it to Hansons Point finally. Like how you don't edit out those real moments that happen a fair amount - learn a lot that way. Thanks again, always look forward to your vids / hikes!
I went to greys arch in July and spent a few hours there hiking the the arch. I have never been there it is awesome. I will camp overnight there sometime
So glad you kept pushing to Hanson's Point. Best place in the park. And I know those Whipporwills...they wake me up at 5 am every time I camp up there.
+OutLan I wasn't leaving until I found it. I would have went back in the morning had it been any later that day. I'm glad we don't have those birds where I live. That would drive me nuts.
Wow - this was a really nicely done video. My son and I really enjoyed watching this together. We will be heading down this year with our Overlanding gear to do some off roading, hiking and camping. We thought and were glad that you included the pieces of video on top during the rain storm. It's important to show that even with seasoned hikers such as your self and with all the planning that nature can always present challenges. Even the dangerous cliff sides and the potential areas to slip; glad you kept that in as well. The editing was great. Thanks so much for sharing this. I'm now a subscriber. My two 21 year old sons and I love camping, hiking, and now we've added a new element to our outdoor adventures - Overlanding.
Your camp spot was at the exact location of the last recorded bear attack in the State of KY. Interesting, I also took some pictures of bear tracks in the snow right at Silverman's Arch. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Next time you're planning a trip here, you should talk to some locals before heading out or maybe head over the KYWilderness web site. There are lots of unmarked trails, arch's, and overlooks all over the RRG.
IF I'M LUCKY ENOUGH THIS SUMMER I'M GOING TO TRY YOUR WAY ! ONE QUESTION ON AVERAGE HOW FAR APART DO THE TREES NEED TO BE FOR HAMMOCK CAMPING? PLUS I'M PUTTING UP A CLOTHES LINE FOR CLOTHES & MY NEW HAMMOCKS? SO I & FAMILY CAN LEARN TO SET MINE & THEIRS UP. THANK YOU! AWESOME VIDEOS & VIEWS!
You should check out this book it will answer pretty much all hammock questions: amzn.to/2H6sYcz What I do is outstretch my arms and trekking poles. That's the distance I like.
Your best video to date! Glad you decided to go see the point as well. On a side note, nice TMNT pajama pants! Ha. Really enjoying your videos lately man, can't wait to see your next trip video.
+BackpackingBen Thanks man, I appreciate that comment. It's always nice to hear videos are getting better and thanks about the TMNT pj's, super comfy I just wish they had pockets.
HA!! really glad we watch to the end that was funny// WHAT A VIDEO!! you really took us out there on this one, killer shooting. less than usual selfie too. Really one of your best films ever from start to finish thanks so much for going to the effort. Amazing how similar those Arches are to the ones out west even with the very different color.
Outdoor Adventures Great! the new camera is giving a really nice image, we watch on a 40 inch screen and everything was very clear, and you do a good job of panning around too not too fast or anything. So Green out there /love it
working my way thru your videos, I'm really new to hiking, just 1 50 mile hike on the A.T. in PA. but because of you, will wood and a couple other youtubers I think at least gear wise I'm years ahead where I would be. thanks, you'll be hearing more from me...hopefully/probably.
I watched this video 2 or 3 times the week leading up to my Red River Gorge trip, and I'm glad I did... My friend and I were about 8 miles in on our second day and about a mile from Gray's Arch. I was hiking faster than him so I just pushed on and planned to wait for him at the Arch. Well, it wasn't smart of me and he took a wrong turn, splitting us up by about 2 miles, with no cell service. I was freaking out, thinking that he had fallen and been hurt or something, but I remembered the way you were at Hanson's point and just "stopping and collecting your thoughts" and I thought through it and, long story short, I found him. Thanks! Awesome videos.
I must be a bad person and I know you were being serious but I may have chuckled a little when you said that you'll be careful not to fall off Gray's Arch. Safety first!
I love the Red River Gorge area, and even though it's a six hour drive for me too, I go every chance I get. I am still working through some of your older videos and really enjoyed this trip with you. Add Auxier Ridge to your next trip, it's got more smiles per mile than any trail in the park, in my opinion, and it's 6-8 mile loop is home to my favorite campsite ever with a good water source in the Auxier Branch. The Red River Underground have a UA-cam channel that show many, many hidden trails, arches and views to enrich your trip. You would also love the Indian Staircase/Council Chamber/Cloudsplitter loop, you have the legs for it, and that is almost all off-trail.
THANK YOU! I JUST ORDERED IT. CAN'T WAIT TO READ IT. THANKS! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT YEAR, WORKING & AT PLAY / HIKE! IF EVERYTHING GOES WELL WITH MY MOM I MIGHT BE ABLE TO TRY WHAT YOU'LL LOVE TO DO! BE SAFE!
I just came here for the views but wow, that’s a great review of the water filtration system. I really dig your setup, what’s the long term review/overall decision of the smart water bottle?
Great video and amazing scenery! I also switched back from bladder to bottles. Easier to see how much water you have left and easier to fill up. Still testing though, but so far I like it.
I really enjoy your videos. I can tell you appreciate the outdoors like I do. You would definitely out pace me by far on the trail. I walk alot slower tuen you but would like to catch some miles with ya sometime if you could stand lowering your pace?
The hooks that you were thinking were bear bag hooks. They are lantern hooks. The lower hooks are for your back pack. We have those things all over here in Arkansas. Thanks for the vid.
AWESOME! How bad was the poison ivy if I may ask ? I don't know if you get it or not ? THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME TAG ALONG WITH YOU ON YOUR TRIPS! BE SAFE! HAVE FUN! SMILE! GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS! ENJOY!
+eric fiorello I've checked them out before. They are a little lower in calories and a bit more expensive but healthier and tastier. I do the ziplocs so I don't have much cleanup
What about the constantly wet feet? I know they drain but still seems uncomfortable for long distance. Cool area though...would like to see. Why do you not carry some kind of GPS device...phone with map app for when you need to get back on track?
I have 2 pairs of those...they can't dry that fast...I would still take mine off to cross...I hate wet feet unless I'm walking down a creek comtinuously
+nobryan0704 Yea I tried to see a few side trails. I was going to try for indian stair case but the rocks were really slippery so i didn't bother trying to kill myself going down from Sheltowee trace
Great video! Thanks for Posting it, I'll be relocating to Ky and this was just what I needed to see! question for you, i saw the Spot on your pack strap, can you do a quick review on that? I'm considering that purchase.
Hey Jason! I wondered how do you do the little animated maps thing where you show us what your hiking plan is ? You use the map with red trails kind of animated to show your hiking plan. what program do you use for that feature in your videos? Super cool and your videos have basically shaped what we buy and how we hike. Thanks so much!
Outdoor Adventures One more question, I know how to use the UA-cam cards to show a link to a different video in the upper right corner of a video I make but how do you do the thumbnail videos that are actually playing without audio in that fashion? Like when you point to a spot saying "Watch my review on this hammock right here" then you point and the thumbnail is playing for a few seconds where you pointed. Sorry for the bother but I really like that
you gotta do the video through video editing software then link it later using annotations in youtube. you should check out some editing software tutorials. i recommend adobe premiere
I figured it was through Premiere. That will be next on my things to learn. Thank you so much dude! I really appreciate your help and all of your videos!!
Thought I was having flashes of Deja Vu till you mentioned Sintax77, that's where i saw that campsite at the bottom of the cliff in the begining of the hike.
How do you keep your feet dry? Or do you just deal with soaked socks? Thanks for posting this. It gave me a good idea of what to expect. HAHA, just saw the blooper at the end.
On you vid, after you left GReys Arch and was talking about where you were going to stay, you totally missed a very cool feature. It was on you left on a rock formation called Jasmine Rock! Really neat, sorry you missed it, 🙁
Great Video! This is your best video to date. I like how you keep your videos real and not over editing them. I also saw hangers like that and my thought was for hanging the pack on it. I will be trying a few new things for filming my next trip video. Of coarse good weather always helps for filming. A+.
+uptrail71 So glad to hear it! Yea the more I thought about it I guess those hangers are for packs to keep critters away. Maybe hang a lantern like another comment suggested.
For an overnighter you had a hell of a trip and saw some of the best places in the park. The whippoorwill has kept me up a few nights there as well. I look forward to hearing there call in a few weeks as I am going to take my 4yr old kid there and do a quick 1 nighter to Hanson's. Thanks for sharing this, it was real cool seeing RRG from your point of view.>>>>>>>>>>>Chris
The gaiters are just meant to keep rocks and debris out of your shoes. The ones I wear aren't waterproof they will soak up a little water from wet brush.
Great video, lots of great advice and info. I live 45 mins from the Gorge and love it. I backpack, tent camp, have a popup and a cool vintage fully restored Airstream motorhome. All great base camps and road trip adventure fun. Look me up if you come back. Mcguiles pizza in a must and Ale 8
+KrawnKam Right after I shot the video showing off the tarp, I realized one of my door pull pullouts weren't sewn. So I had to send it back and have Hammock Gear complete the order. They apologized up and down and paid for shipping both ways. I have now received my tarp so I'll be using it in the next video.
They have those exact same hangers at the Tiadaughton Campground and they do call them bear hangers. One would be dumb to think that would keep a bear out of your gear but I guess to the average hiker, it's better than sitting in your campsite
You werent lost - you were just "bewildered" , good job thinking it out, great vid
Thanks for not editing out your obstacles. It really makes the video awesome. Love all your adventures. Now I have a new trail on my list.
I hate when people show only the good stuff. Not realistic.
Great video. Thanks. That was a lantern hanger dude. 😯 Going to do this hike this fall. Long drive from Baltimore!
Thats what I was thinking...but I have not seen one in 40 years. Thought that was out of fashion by now.
Great video . . . I like how you set it up and said at the front what you planned to do on the hike . . .
Thank u for taking me with u😀👍🏻
He is good at what he does!
Never got the chance to watch this video. Hanson’s point is go-to for overnight trips. Your campsite in this video is the one I always stay at. Great seeing your old gear, and how you’ve changed things over the years.
Hey man, yea it's been quite a journey!
Amazing footage, you've given me lots of inspiration for my trip there in September, can't wait!
Gorgeous. As a person with absolutely no sense of direction, I appreciate seeing how you handle situations. Thank you and happy trails!
I've watched most of your beginner camping videos. I learned a lot, you do a really good job. I'm planning to do more wilderness camping. +Ray Christoff awesome to read these kinds of comments. This is why I made the channel. Enjoy yoyr adventures.
Great video all the way around. Thanks so much for taking us along! My family is from Bell/Harlan county KY
Really enjoyed this hike. Tons of great views
Glad you enjoyed it
Keep em real.Enjoyed this mini adventure Frozen.Look forward to more adventures.
+HIKE RUN BIKE BUCK Thanks for watching.
THANK YOU FOR GETTING BACK TO ME! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT SUMMER! BE SAFE! HAVE FUN! SMILE! GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS! ENJOY!
I live in ky and go there and natural bridge all the time !! Great vid
Thanks for keeping it real and sharing your adventures
+Eric Ford you are welcome my friend. Thanks for watching
beautiful place to see and stay, great job keeping it real out there sharing the good, bad and ugly.
Glad you didn't leave the part out where you were looking for the trail. Reminds us all to calm down and gather your senses. Atta boy!
+05frosts Hopefully it helps someone.

Great video! Glad you kept walking, Hanson's Point is a fantastic view. Heading there this weekend.
Thanks for sharing the "realness" of hiking. Much appreciated. Great video.
Jason, looks like you had a great time. Even short one overnight trips can be special. You did a good job filming. Thanks for sharing the video!

Those camp sites on hansons points have trails going all over the place, pretty easy to get turned around on the way back out
For sure!
Great video! I like your approach to your videos. Very honest and open.
I got turned around at Hansons Point as well. So many paths up there. Such a great place.
I like your way of showing us your route on the map, it's a nice visual and reference point.
The Smart Water bottles are great! They're lightweight and long so I don't have to reach far behind me to get it and it's easier to put back in the pack. I also like the sip spout on them.
They also fit perfectly on the sawyer mini which makes it a backup squeeze bag for your filter.
Hope you enjoyed my home state! Went to Greys Arch in April! Hope you come back, we have many other neat hiking areas in KY!
+Cindy Trumbo I had a great time.. Lots of epic sights there.
You picked an ambitious route. And, yes, it's easy to get turned around on those ridgetops. Hanson's is the farthest point on the ridge. There are at least 2 other overlooks near it.
Heading into the gorge next week. Excellent video.
Great video- thanks for sharing! I hiked there two summers ago and loved it. We had trouble finding decent campsites though. Thanks to your video I have a few new ideas.
Love the video. I'm gonna use your line as my backpacking goal this summer - to have little adventures.
I appreciate your honesty. Thanks for the tip on the Dutchware sit pad.
Nice video ! Looked like a great adventure. Def a crazy weekend of weather all up the North east.
You didn't see Natural Bridge! You MUST come back and see it! You can walk on top of it and the views are amazing!
Another great vid! My first night in a hammock was thunderstorms and 50+mph wind gusts, sounded like a freight train the entire night, but I was in my backyard.. Wow - this was a really nicely done video. My son and I really enjoyed watching this together. We will be heading down this year with our Overlanding gear to do some off roading, hiking and camping. +BackpackingBen Thanks man, I appreciate that comment. It's always nice to hear videos are getting better and thanks about the TMNT pj's, super comfy I just wish they had pockets.
I just bought a Blackbird and a 3 season yeti:):) looking forward to my trip at the end of the month to the Linville Gorge in NC.. You'd love it!!
HA!! really glad we watch to the end that was funny// WHAT A VIDEO!! you really took us out there on this one, killer shooting. less than usual selfie too. Really one of your best films ever from start to finish thanks so much for going to the effort. Amazing how similar those Arches are to the ones out west even with the very different color.
+potatothorn thank you. I had a different video set up and was a lot easier to film. Videos from here on out should be of similar format.
Outdoor Adventures
Great! the new camera is giving a really nice image, we watch on a 40 inch screen and everything was very clear, and you do a good job of panning around too not too fast or anything. So Green out there /love it
+potatothorn Well thank you :)
working my way thru your videos, I'm really new to hiking, just 1 50 mile hike on the A.T. in PA. but because of you, will wood and a couple other youtubers I think at least gear wise I'm years ahead where I would be. thanks, you'll be hearing more from me...hopefully/probably.
+Greg Fowler welcome to the woods my friend.
Nice. Glad u had a good time. I'm kind of disappointed there was no Q&A section. Maybe next time...btw, I'm liking the sound from the new camera.
+arcana1973 Don't worry. I'm going to do night hike Q&A. that way I can focus more on video content during these trips.
Whippoorwills are not heard by most people, they are amazing but see how they can be annoying while trying to sleep. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Glad it helped, and hope you had a good time despite the mishap!
It's good that you're willing to leave the uncomfortable stuff in your videos. I like your attitude. I'd hike with you. Great video bro.
+Jer “The Bearded Wanderer” Zed Thanks man. Gotta keep it real. It's not always great views and flat sections of trails.
+Outdoor Adventures no doubt. Everyone has rough trips. I think I mentioned it before, but check out my trip to Frontenac on my channel.
Have you had a chance to return to check out the auxier ridge? Really cool stuff over there as well. Loving your videos!
Not yet, but possibly next month. Working out the details now.
Let me know when you're headed down! I'm just an hour away in Lexington, KY.
Türkiye'den selamlar;
Herzaman olduğu gibi yine çok güzel bir etkinlik videosu olmuş. Beğeniyle takip ediyorum.
Başarılar 👍⛺

+Outdoor Adventures Say hello to my pal Erdogan
I must be a bad person and I know you were being serious but I may have chuckled a little when you said that you'll be careful not to fall off Gray's Arch. Safety first!
+Tim Watson You may enjoy the very end of the video.
+Outdoor Adventures lol, 20 minutes in. I'll be sure to reply again when I'm done.
+Outdoor Adventures LOL. Glad you didn't fall off from too high up.
I love the Red River Gorge area, and even though it's a six hour drive for me too, I go every chance I get. I am still working through some of your older videos and really enjoyed this trip with you. I did auxier ridge it was beautiful. In the winter red River gorge video. I've also watched the underground yt channel excellent info.
THANK YOU!
I JUST ORDERED IT. CAN'T WAIT TO READ IT. THANKS! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT YEAR, WORKING & AT PLAY / HIKE!
IF EVERYTHING GOES WELL WITH MY MOM I MIGHT BE ABLE TO TRY WHAT YOU'LL LOVE TO DO!
BE SAFE!
Great video! Keep up the great work!
I just came here for the views but wow, that’s a great review of the water filtration system. I really dig your setup, what’s the long term review/overall decision of the smart water bottle?
They work perfectly. I thru hiked the AT last year and used smart water bottles exclusively.
Hey frozen love your awsome videos and by the way those are lantern post at the campground not bear post keep the adventures coming.
+Clara Mullen yea figured that. Shows how much I car camp
Great video and amazing scenery! I also switched back from bladder to bottles. Easier to see how much water you have left and easier to fill up. Still testing though, but so far I like it.

I didn't come across any poison ivy
Hey I was just there on Friday and Saturday over on the auxier ridge trail. It would have been cool to run into you.
Good video. If it hasn't been mentioned yet, those hangers at the campsite are just for lanterns. :)
Is Ravens Rock still accessible ?
Awesome video! Slipping in some of those areas could be fatal. Keep up the great videos. :)
+Leonard Mills, Jr. Yea going up on the rock at hanson's point was a bit nerve racking. Couldn't believe how slippery the rock was.
You should check out Packit Gourmet for some good food options and they also sell boil in bags. Maybe a little better than just a ziploc.
+eric fiorello I've checked them out before. They are a little lower in calories and a bit more expensive but healthier and tastier. I do the ziplocs so I don't have much cleanup
go Pens! another great video
What about the constantly wet feet? I know they drain but still seems uncomfortable for long distance. Cool area though...would like to see. Why do you not carry some kind of GPS device...phone with map app for when you need to get back on track?
+Patrick Caple (No Trail Required) most trail runners, especially mine, are made mostly of mesh which dries incredibly fast.
I have 2 pairs of those...they can't dry that fast...I would still take mine off to cross...I hate wet feet unless I'm walking down a creek comtinuously
I spend a lot of weekends in these woods. A lot of things to be seen that aren't on the map
+nobryan0704 Yea I tried to see a few side trails. I was going to try for indian stair case but the rocks were really slippery so i didn't bother trying to kill myself going down from Sheltowee trace
It's nuts to think that you hiked just over 3 weeks to the day before week hiked this exact course, well at least most of it.
Great video! Thanks for Posting it, I'll be relocating to Ky and this was just what I needed to see! question for you, i saw the Spot on your pack strap, can you do a quick review on that? I'm considering that purchase.
+Justin Mouton I have a review on it already. Just check my channel.
+Outdoor Adventures thank you!
I'm from KY and thinking bout going backing some places around here

Super cool and your videos have basically shaped what we buy and how we hike. Thanks so much!
+GottaGo33 all I'm doing there is using mspaint with a screen recording program like camstudio, very low tech stuff.
Gotcha, thank you!!
Outdoor Adventures One more question, I know how to use the UA-cam cards to show a link to a different video in the upper right corner of a video I make but how do you do the thumbnail videos that are actually playing without audio in that fashion? Awesome! I'll watch this video tonight. How are the Pens doing? I haven't watched regular tv in a long time.
+uptrail71 they are in the eastern conference final, down 1 game in the series. But not worried yet.
Good Luck to them! :) I watched parts of Sintax video. It was ok! Now we will watch yours.
If you like the Arches there, you should check out Arches National Park, I went there in 2014, amazing.
Thought I was having flashes of Deja Vu till you mentioned Sintax77, that's where i saw that campsite at the bottom of the cliff in the begining of the hike.
+Douglas Sudsbear yea pretty cool site. Adventures archives shows it in their video as well.
Wow, a new outdoor adventures and sintax77 video both in the same day.
+Andrew Stavash yea I was pretty excited when sintax said his was coming out as well lol.
That was Cool man. Thank you
+wink hvac Thanks for watching
How do you keep your feet dry? Or do you just deal with soaked socks? Thanks for posting this. It gave me a good idea of what to expect. HAHA, just saw the blooper at the end.
I just let them dry as I walk. Works well especially after you develop your feet to where your feet don't blister or crack any more.
Nice videos. The intro to this one is pretty catchy...think you may have found something there!
+AdventureEAST Thanks
On you vid, after you left GReys Arch and was talking about where you were going to stay, you totally missed a very cool feature. It was on you left on a rock formation called Jasmine Rock! Really neat, sorry you missed it, 🙁
+Cindy Trumbo there were so many side trail. I tried to check then all out but missed a few. I had that 5pm deadline in my head for a thunderstorm.
Kickass vid! Did you use your XTherm mattress with your hammock?
+devilseucharist Nah. I'm using an enlightened equipment underquilt these days.
you will really enjoy it. great views. get a compass and get a map
+Vince Varriale I bought the map a few months ago I think me friend and I are going to try and make a 4 day trip down there in the fall.
+Rob Marley Yea it was one of the best trips I've been on to date.
No whippoorwills in Pennsylvania?
+Patrick Caple (No Trail Required) not that I've heard.
That is sad...I treasure their call
Those are some manly man PJ's that you have on!!!
If I remember correctly, Koomer Ridge has good repelling sites.
What was the brand of the hammock pillow you have?
In this video it's a hammock gear pillow. Currently I use a sea to summit aeros UL and love it.
@@FrozensAdventures thank you! I'll check them both out!
Do the gaters help? / How do they hold up to crossings?
The gaiters are just meant to keep rocks and debris out of your shoes. The ones I wear aren't waterproof they will soak up a little water from wet brush.
Great video, lots of great advice and info. I live 45 mins from the Gorge and love it. I backpack, tent camp, have a popup and a cool vintage fully restored Airstream motorhome. All great base camps and road trip adventure fun. Look me up if you come back. Mcguiles pizza in a must and Ale 8
damnit, makin' me hungry for Miguels... on a Monday morning.
Like your video's👍🏻😀
At around minute 25, which trail were you on and where were you initially headed?
It's a unofficial side trail. I was heading to Hanson's Point.
Why didn't you use your new tarp on this trip?
+KrawnKam Right after I shot the video showing off the tarp, I realized one of my door pull pullouts weren't sewn. So I had to send it back and have Hammock Gear complete the order. They apologized up and down and paid for shipping both ways. I have now received my tarp so I'll be using it in the next video.
Beauty..!!!...))....
If you like cool rock formations come on down to the Linville Gorge in NC.
+Vince Varriale I'll be there this year
37:46 - i couldnt stop laughing, the bird actually stopped making noices.
+Mikkel holm rasmussen Haha yea it came out pretty good on video
What camera do you use?
+Josh Ebersole I have a Sony cx405 and a Nikon aw110
I think those hangers at the campsite are for lanterns not for bear bags
+Ian Frye that makes more sense. Or for hanging backpacks away from critters
They have those exact same hangers at the Tiadaughton Campground and they do call them bear hangers. One would be dumb to think that would keep a bear out of your gear but I guess to the average hiker, it's better than sitting in your campsite
