The NUX version is back ordered everywhere where I live. That must mean something. Can’t wait to get mine.
Great demo as usual! Thanks for the info😊
Thanks for the feedback mate! Glad I could help!
I bought the Nux Analog Delay on a whim as a synth user and love its tone. I'm not a pedal head or guitar player, but I love its tone!
fantastic, glad to hear its being used elsewhere!
I was thinking about using it for voice, do you think it will do?
Good video man! Thanks!
Thanks mate!
@@danieljdtaylor I now have two of the Nux Analog Delays. Getting some real cool sounds with one first in my signal chain and one at the end.
Thanks
Dang. The Nux Delay sounds really nice. I recently purchased the Optima Air and it's super. I had also bought a chorus pedal from them several years ago but was unhappy with it. But I like this delay.
What didn’t you like about the chorus pedal mate?
It's the old NUX CH-3 (Yellow). I play acoustic guitar and it just doesn't give me the same fullness and soundstage of a Boss pedal. Bummer because i really like NUX pedals and equipment.
Also..I'm not into expensive boutique pedals. I can't afford them, so I'm looking for the best sound I can get for the best price.
@@starsandguitars2050 great shout mate. good idea looking for the best you can get for the price. Shame about that Nux Chorus though! what chorus do you use instead?
I also got their Steel Singer. If it’s even close I’ll be super happy.
What are your thoughts on the steel singer mate?
@@danieljdtaylor I’ll let you know as soon as I get it. It’s still in the mail.
It’s pretty good. Definitely worth the price and comes with a battery. No complaints yet. It’s not noisy at all which was surprising.
I have an original as well / the key feature I’m interested in is its ability to sweep and feedback
Lovely review and enlightened to know it’s an Ibanez clone. Any idea what is nux analogue chorus based off on
I believe it is based of the Ibanez Chorus of the same series as the analog delay (at least aesthetically anyway)
Yeah, the NUX doesn't keep the self oscillation past 12 o clock on the delay time knob. "Easier to tame" or not, it just fades out.
The AD80 can take a DM2.. the Nux is still great value.
till the space noises it was pretty spot on but after that they kinda fell apart, but for the price its a no brainer
Sin duda suena mejor el ibanez… pero el nux no se queda atras
The OG all the way
I thought they were great for different applications!
You mean the Nux?
seriously. it's crazy some people here think the Nux is better. The Ibanez retains more transients and sounds way better overall to me. Daniel Taylor got it right when he said the Nux sounds like a digital delay simulating an analog delay.
@@GoldenDeathMusic for the money no one will know that you are playing through an OG vs a clone.
@@andrewface you will though if you have heard them both. that's all that matters to me, as that is who i am making music for
Nux is far better, clearer, more dynamics, and far cheaper too
I wish I had of recorded it for the review but shortly after making this video I tried both at a band practice and I found the Ibanez sat far better in the mix, but in this video it does appear that the Nux is the overall better option
@@danieljdtaylor Could that be due to the Ibanez AD80 having an 18v power draw?
@@elliotvernon7971 that is an excellent point!
Nux is very close..
I actually thought they were quite different! But fair play mate
NUX is pronounced new-X
No it's "NUX" like nuts.
@@DSilvergun Nup, boss has the correct pronunciation. New X.
Nux is better and loads cheaper
1000$ vs 100$
Did this guy seriously just say an 'itsyaboy'? In 2021?
Yoooouuu betcha
