When i planned for trip to karaikudi every one suggested Soundaram sweets. Aachi even explained me how to combine and eat the snacks. Athirasam, murukku, seeda, thatta, maavu urundai, etc. even they do pickles, thokku, and also mutton uppu kandam on pre orders.

Takes me to 70s. i have eaten kilos of chettinad snacks as my friend used to get regularly from her mother in Kottaiyur (near Karaikudi). Video and items are feast to eyes...Thanks to Lady Soundaram for providing authentic chenninad snacks all over the World.

Just bought the Theen Muruku and another from her shop one of the online sites "Oorla" that now ship super fast around the world...wonderful stuff and well worth the websites markup...and the Adhirsam.....but why does no one sell Chettinadu Kandarappam, such as i used to get in the little tea stall at the cross roads in KKN?

I brought ghee sweets and thaittu vadai .. it got wasted within 2 days.. I think they might be given old ones.. remaining muruku packet is in good condition.. Not highly recommend this shop.. average rate from my side.
