Ive had about 50 friend requests from hijacked in the last few weeks. The scamming seems to just be getting more and more prevalent. Make sure your email is also extra secure, I had my steam account email hacked (lost access forever) but managed to catch it and change my steam email before they got access to my account.

This is why you dont spend a lot of money on skins, they have a lot of value, but no real security and if stolen you cannot get them back. I dont think it is illegal to steal them vs stealing real life items worth the same amount ect a car.

Then when I had money again, I started buying skins again. And finally I had an inventory worth 406 euros. But then cs2 came and then yes sold everything and stopped playing.

For me that was a lot😢. But looking on this i'm kinda curious why person that had like 1000-2000$ inventory, would scam a kid for a 15 dollars.

As bad as it is for the guy, it is his fault. The community doesn't deserve much if they log in with their inventories to third-party-sites. Every gambling site could scam you, every skin trader could scam you. It is your own fault for knowing you have 100,000$ in skins and then log in somewhere with your steam account. And Valve in my opinion shouldn't and isn't responsible for returning his stuff. He did the steps himself, and he went onto some site and logged in himself.
