This song was on a compilation disc I bought while I was in A school in Pensacola, FL. I was then stationed in Pearl Harbor and met my wife and The Ataris is her favorite band. She thinks “I Won’t Spend Another Night Alone” is our song…but this is the song I heard that made me fall in love with her before I met her
This is possibly my favorite Ataris song. I like most of their music, but this one is special. This version is better than the plugged in version on So Long, Astoria imo.

Yeah I actually still have that Warped Tour Compilation 2001. I've seen it the other day, though it's just stuck into a blank case in my closet because the original case got all cracked. Anyway yeah I wouldn't mind going back to 2001 and trying to start over from there.

Oh shit I remember 11th grade 2004 riding with my friends after school with my beautiful girlfriend in the front seat and this song on blast! I would look at her while her hair waved all on her face. It was a summer favorite to all of us after that ride. 🤩😭😍😍
My older cousin would play this acoustic when he was hurt over a girl. This song was on my mind forever lol finally found it spent 2hrs looking for it. I’m 29 now, which a dude wrote a song about me 😂
