I've always been nervous to add nail polish thinner to glitter polishes, so thank you for showing that we can use this produce on glitters, cremes, and top coats!
I feel like this is also low-key a PSA about Nail polish thinner. It was a game changer when I found out about it. I still mourn all my 90’s polish that I threw away when it got too thick. I had some good ones I loved.
Don’t forget to clean around the inside of the brush cap with a qtip soaked in acetone! This and the gunky bottle neck (as she mentioned) can make the bottle not seal up properly. I’m glad she’s come out with a thinner!
Play Rosé is my most repurchased polish for this exact reason. I use it so often that it just does its chemical thing so quickly; not a big deal, every repurchase is worth it. Bu I seriously can't wait for my thinner to get here! I have enough partial bottles saved up to make an entire full bottle! 😂
It's so awesome that you've released a product like this! A lot of companies would rather you buy new stuff to replace your old, half-used stuff, but you're out here saving us some money 😍
My collection is about to get so much bigger with revivals 🙌🏻 I just had the thought “I wonder when she’s coming out with that thinner she talked about” literally last night.
My first ever holographic glitter polish is so goopy and I want to wear it one last time before it's all gone so this is a lifesaver! So excited to revive some of my favorites (including my first Play Rosé)
Oh my goodness! Yeeeeesssss! For some reason thinner is really difficult to find where I am and it's difficult to know what to trust when looking online. So glad holo taco brought this out!
I like thinking that Cristine purposely kept a half-used bottle of nail polish around for years just so she could have something to show a thinner off with when she eventually made one 😂
Definitely need this for the Super Glossy Taco. Halfway down, it's almost unusuable because it won't spread anymore and I can't afford to let a 15 dollar bottle only go half-used!
It's really amazing to me how many people are using acetone or remover to "fix" thier polish. It's simple science to me. Why would you add something meant to "remove" polish into an actual polish? 🤷
I used to love glitter polishes but they do get so thick and hard to use fast. I just prefer using crème polishes with some sort with a pretty top coat. Way easier to deal with.
My zyler bottle did this the worst too I already tried a different brand of thinner. I may not try this because the bottle is exactly the same type of bottle that my vape juice comes in and we don't want to mix those up without my glasses on
Omg! I’m so happy you have this product! I have some of your nail polishes from a few X-Mases ago that desperately need this!!! I love all your nail polishes!!!
I was waiting for this product so much and I was so excited to try it out, but I forgot to add it to my order at launch 😅 I will definitely try it out in the future! Thank you for making this!
It's about time!!!! I have been wondering what I am going to do with a few of my older ones that I still LOVE (Zyler & Menchie colors!! to name a few) I am sooo excited about this! Thank you Cristine!!!
Ive been waiting for this product forever! Why did you realease it so close to christmas, tho!? Now i can't buy it for myself without feeling guilty! Lol no shade just finally glad this is here!
Nail polish thinner has been on my to buy list for over three years, so of course the HoloTaco version comes out a few months *after* I finally get around to getting a random lower quality brand, sigh. At least I’ll have this option if my current bottle ever runs out
I have used 40 plus drops of thinner (another brand bc this want out yet) on dead petals and it’s still like a mix of polish and clay and despite a lot of mixing over time I can’t get the two parts to combine
My only problem with holo taco is that they get goopy WAY faster than even dollar store brands. It’s not really acceptable at this price point but I love Cristine and try have amazing shades. I have all but a few toppers. I’ve spent a couple car payments on holo taco. I have every collection. Almost every holo taco bottle I have has required thinner by the 4th use. The plain holo is usually pretty good. But the crème & any glittery ones are goopy. Some of my favorite colors colors like choco holo have that terrible formula. I’ve probably used 3 bottles of thinner just on holo taco since it came out. I’m not surprised they’d come out with a product that fixes their own issue. I’d prefer they just fix the formula. I store it with other polishes, from Zoya & ILNP to Essie & Sally Hansen & holo taco is the only one that thickens.
You shouldn't mix polish remover with your polish. It destroys glitter and holo pigments. I'd say it would change color eventually also? Anyhow, thinner is the way to go. Different product, different results.
When i've used nail polish remover to thin nail polish in the past i encountered EVERY problem you listed! It'd be thin or maybe 30 min and then it'd dry up in the bottle even worse than before. One of the ingredients listed on the holo taco website is Ethyl acetate, and wikipedia says that's used as a nail polish remover so it made me nervous that's what this was. I'll probably wait for reviews, but if it actually works it'll def be a game changer for me xD @@ericawaldrop3371
@@brynjakleber24it works! I’ve been using a bottle on all my thickened polishes & it’s working perfectly. Nail polish thinner is totally different than remover
Yes, I've done this for years. Every time a polish got too thick, I'd carefully pour a few drops of remover into it and shake it well. Works like a charm!
You should only use nail polish thinner that contain ethyl acetate and butyl acetate in your nail polish. Using acetone in your polishes could destroy them. I learned the hard way :/
I've always been nervous to add nail polish thinner to glitter polishes, so thank you for showing that we can use this produce on glitters, cremes, and top coats!
you just have to avoid thinners with heptane
Tbh, i even add thinner to some of the brand new glitter polishes because they can be tricky to work with.
@@asiaspyro ty!! I always forget what ingredients to avoid
To think of all gorgeous polishes I could have saved! Not to mention top coats!
the amount of polishes I've thrown out bc of this reason. especially glitter polishes 😭 at least they were cheap so i don't feel too bad
This is the life saver for holo taco fans. Strong thinner can destroy holo and glitter, but this one can 100% save the holo
That explain how I ruined my rainbow snow polish:((

I'm glad it's normal to use a ton of thinner in Glossy Taco, that's where most of my thinner goes. 😅
do u think u need to buy more than one bottle? i have to buy it for glossy taco :( i swear it gets so thick and stringy so fast
Play Rosé is my most repurchased polish for this exact reason. I use it so often that it just does its chemical thing so quickly; not a big deal, every repurchase is worth it. What I would love is longer regular brushes for when your polish gets really low in the bottle. :)
Yep... Every bottle has that problem near enough...
woo I've been waiting for this to get released! looking forward to reviving my purple with envy and glossy taco! :)
My collection is about to get so much bigger with revivals 🙌🏻 I just had the thought “I wonder when she’s coming out with that thinner she talked about” literally last night.

Precision needle dropper is smart!! 💉 I'm curious to see how this works with matte top coats.

Cristine, the Science Queen! Saving all our older polishes 💜💜💜
Nail polish a bit thick? It’S nOt a pRObLem aNYmoRe
Play rose was the exact shade I was having this issue with! Good to know 😂
Sadly, all my holo top coats came thick and unusable. Long way to Germany, so thats maybe the problem. Now I can save them. QAQ
Definitely need this for the Super Glossy Taco. Halfway down, it's almost unusuable because it won't spread anymore and I can't afford to let a 15 dollar bottle only go half-used!
It is time for my first HT purchases to get renewed! 🎉
I was just about to throw away some bottles! I need this!
OMG - this is a game changer!! I get those weird strings coming off my glossy taco brush all the time.
It's really amazing to me how many people are using acetone or remover to "fix" thier polish. It's simple science to me. Why would you add something meant to "remove" polish into an actual polish? 🤷
Now we need nail polish remover
Maybe the pots that just twirl around your finger
The needle tip opening is smart!!
Going right now to pick some up. Wish I saw it when I bought my nail polish a couple days ago. Now I’m going to have to pay shipping again😢
my main takeaway here is omg Play Rosé (and thus the first holiday collection) is FOUR YEARS OLD?? dang
Why is this unlisted
I need this! I was devastated to find that my Zyler polish had gotten chunky.
I used to love glitter polishes but they do get so thick and hard to use fast. I just prefer using crème polishes with some sort with a pretty top coat. Way easier to deal with.
I get so emotionally attached to my nail polishes; this will help me not have to toss them until they're fully gone!
I have been doing this for decades. Someone once said I shouldn't, and I was like, " So you want me to waste product and let it dry up? No.*
This is a perfectly timed product! Thank you 😊
I use a different brand of thinner. I had to use over 40 drops. Well my halotaco nailpolish is pretty old. I don't so my nails as much as I used too
I did not know a top coat could be added thinner, the more you know I guess :D Thank you!
Can I use it to thin gel polish?
My zyler bottle did this the worst too I already tried a different brand of thinner. I may not try this because the bottle is exactly the same type of bottle that my vape juice comes in and we don't want to mix those up without my glasses on
It looks so skinny brush but i think it's a holo taco thinner I love that nail polish cre'me ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have hoped for awhile that Holo Taco would make a thinner! I haven't found any locally at all
Mine arrived and YESSSS IT’S PERFECT I have revived so many glitters!!! 😍😍😍
I commented on simplys tiktok and she delivered appreciate you very much cristine!!!!❤❤❤❤
This is fire but plssss reformulqte the glossy taco! It’s abnormal how fast that one turns gloopy and stringy! Also on the nails!
It's like that because it's a quick dry top coat. Adding thinner makes it just like new! :)
Instantly ordered it with the new collection. Had to break open a brand new bottle of Glossy Taco which hurt my soul... Can't wait for it to arrive!
Prior to unglooping your polish clean the neck and inside the handle of the polish.
Omg! I’m so happy you have this product! I have some of your nail polishes from a few X-Mases ago that desperately need this!!! I love all your nail polishes!!!
Six bucks to save all of my polishes 😭😭😭 Cristine you’re too good to us
Wow and 6 bucks I’m truly impressed
Oh I'm about save all the old bottles I couldn't bare to throw out in hopes finding the same colours again
I wish you would release some gel nail polish’s I know they probably hard to make…😢
I knew Not Milky White was older because of the simply skinny brush 🤣
It's like she knows we all have a chunky bottle of Play Rose sitting around 😅
I never know what to do with the brush while cleaning the top of the polish😂
Can this be used with gel polish that cures with led or uv lamps?
I tried a nail polish thinner once and it did nothing, just sat on top and wouldn't mix in 🤷♀
i threw out my glossy taco a month ago bc it was gloopy :(
Got mine, on it's way
The amount of nail polish I’ve thrown away over the years because it got thick…. Thank you simply for even just introducing the concept of thinner!!!
I was waiting for this product so much and I was so excited to try it out, but I forgot to add it to my order at launch 😅 I will definitely try it out in the future! Thank you for making this!
Cristine make strips like Dashing Diva!!!! I SUCK AT PAINTING but your holo is 100% THE BESSSSSST
ah thank goodness i’ve been WAITING FOR THIS ONE
Cool 😀
Perfection

This is brilliant. This is even better than the nail oil brush.
Yassss
YAY!!!

💜🥹
Is there a way too restore peely base too?😢
Yeh I want to know too
Yay! Dont have to worry about checking ingredients, and I can thin my Existential Crisis without having one. 🌟Love the applicator as well 🎯
I use the Mavala thinner already

I know adding nail polish remover thins nail polish- is this just nail polish remover in a fancy bottle? 😅
It’s not but there are many brands that sell the exact same thing with the same two ingredients
You shouldn't mix polish remover with your polish. It destroys glitter and holo pigments. I'd say it would change color eventually also? Anyhow, thinner is the way to go. Different product, different results.

Wow way to spend more. Old school money saving method, use acetone. Problem solved
Acetone will eat your polish! Thinner is not acetone. Two different chemicals meant for very different purposes!

Hi Cristine! Any tips on how to remove liquid latex nail barrier that has dried into clothing? 😅😢❤
