I saw all épisodes in France.during 80, im 50 years old today...im so nostalgic for all : musics, clothes style, dialogues...not wokism just human story
After a hard week as well in high school (1980s) I always looked forward to watching an episode of Miami Vice, also. This soundtrack piece and many others, always added a great layer to gritty, action packed episodes..... PLEASE Hollywood people, do not reboot Miami Vice as a TV series...
Both this and the Miami Vice define this show down to a tee, more than any other track. Because when you think of Miami Vice these are the classic tunes you immediately think off. Jan Hammer at the top of his game. You got it Man.
Love those first couple of seasons. The scene at the beach where Sonny looks back at his wife and young boy and realises the danger they are all in because of his chosen profession is heart breaking. Nice little montage. Fantastic theme.
I still have the extended 12" of this from back in the day. Listend to it so many times. Whole family loved the show here in old England. My dear old Mum had a thing for Don Johnson ha. Miss you mum.
Love Crockett's Theme. I've had a crush on Don Johnson since Miami Vice premiered in 1984. Mature Don Johnson is still as 🔥 as Miami Vice Don Johnson. He'll still be good looking when he's 90 ♥️
I first heard this song in the early 1990s when I was 5 years old, when it was used in National Westminster Bank adverts. A friend of mine in the 2000s sent me Crockett's Theme and told me about the programme it was from. And that's when my love affair with Miami Vice began!
This theme, Tubbs and Valerie and the New York theme are my 3 favorites from Miami Vice's score. Jan Hammer ecapsulates the 80's with these masterful synthwave themes!
What a great show and theme song!! Doesn’t get better than this, one of the best shows in the 80s. Love Don Johnson and still looking as good looking as he did in the 80s just a little older and more wisdom!! 💙🎶💙
I love this song when I went to the park and see the boats in the water.😊💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙👍. Also, they have the extended version of Crockett's Theme. And I love it!😀⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
I heard this song in the summer of 2017, and immediately it became a cult for me. So simple, but brilliant melody. The use of a drum machine, synthesizers and electric guitar, a memorable motif... Just the best song I've ever heard) A low bow to Jan Hammer for creating this masterpiece!
Hey Miami Vice Admin Team, Are you guys planning to have Miami Vice episodes streamed outside of the US like Australia for example? I would really love to watch them over here!
I have a genuine Galco Original Jackass Shoulder Holster that is the same one that Don Johnson wore in Season 1 and 2 of Miami Vice that I carry my Beretta M9 9mm pistol in. Like Don Johnson said when he was fitted for it "It fits like a glove"
Before the series begins Crockett is married to Caroline, with whom he had his son, William "Billy". Years of the Vice lifestyle (including a hit-man nearly killing all of them) caused their marriage to end in a painful divorce. Crockett began an on-again, off-again relationship with fellow Vice cop Gina Calabrese, usually when one or both needed comfort or someone to talk to. His other relationships were with a high-profile architect named Brenda, which caused him to sway from his duties, resulting in Tubbs being beaten up by a suspect. Then he moved on to Margaret, a New York woman who turned out to be working for someone trying to kill him, followed by Sara Davis, a flight stewardess who kept him company on her return flights to Miami (and died after one of the cocaine balloons in her GI tract came open); Dr. Theresa Lyons, who was a drug addict that he got help for in another state; Christine Von Marburg, who turned out to be a madam. He later met singer Caitlin Davies on assignment; after some friction they fell in love and married in a whirlwind romance, but she was killed over a year later by Frank Hackman. Upon hearing that Caitlin was pregnant, Crockett was driven to kill Hackman in cold blood. After Caitlin's death, Crockett had no further relationships aside from a brief affair with Kathleen Gilfords, but as his alter-ego, Sonny Burnett, he had flings with Miguel Manolo's art director Polly Wheeler, and Oscar Carrera's trophy wife Celeste. In his Crockett persona, he seems to prefer intelligent professional women, including those who are better educated than he is.
**PLEASE MIAMI VICE CHANNEL: it's possible to put this great classic scene (from the episode 'The Prodigal Son', from the 2nd season), with the great actor Julian Beck (who made the very scary character Kane in the movie "Poltergeist II"). This scene in Vice is SUPERB, with its captivating monolog about capitalism. A must-see. This was one of his last roles, as he died before this episode was released on TV. This kind of scene shows how popular Vice was and how deep.
Been listenin to jessicacool90’s version past 5years now, very nice to see you uploading one too This is the 27th addition to my list, of different versions of Crockett’s theme 🛥🌴
My God. It's the fucking year 2024. Who misses those happy years of the 80s?
I do. So much.
Eu tenho muita saudades dos anos 80. Muita mesmo.
ME TOO, FOR GOD SAKE 😞💫💫💫💫👑👑👑👑🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
We do ❤
Iconic. Simply iconic and legendary.
I agree.
Iconic.
Made in the '80's.
Lifetime pleasure guaranteed.
Never saw the show as an early 90’s baby but I still love this theme.

There was music? All I noticed was Sonny!
👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You got it Mann
One of the most memoriable piece of music composed by Jan for the show. Great video edit.
Love those first couple of seasons. The scene at the beach where Sonny looks back at his wife and young boy and realises the danger they are all in because of his chosen profession is heart breaking. Nice little montage. Fantastic theme.
Love the emotion and vulnerability Crockett showed in early Vice, Made the character relatable
I've long thought there is an almost child-like and innocent quality to the melody. I guess that could tie in to what you say.
All of 80s aesthetic in one banger
I still have the extended 12" of this from back in the day. Listend to it so many times. Whole family loved the show here in old England. My dear old Mum had a thing for Don Johnson ha. Miss you mum.
One of the most iconic music from this series….👍🏻👍🏻
Best instrumental of the 80s hands down, and possibly the best composition of the 80s.
This is LEGENDARY
This and 'Tubbs and Valerie' are my fav 'Miami Vice' tracks. Thanks for sharing.
Crockett's Theme is Simply the best instrumental ever done.
It can be sad, happy, nostalgic, and always Vice😎
Love Crockett's Theme. I've had a crush on Don Johnson since Miami Vice premiered in 1984. Mature Don Johnson is still as 🔥 as Miami Vice Don Johnson. He'll still be good looking when he's 90 ♥️
But do you love him even more than Corky Duke? 😁🙃😛
Mature Don Johnson? As opposed to DJ in Miami Vice? He was already reaching 40 by the end of the series. He's was a late bloomer like Harrison Ford.
@@Ortzmet By mature, I mean Don Johnson today at 72. I could have said "older", but thought "mature" was nicer ♥️
Only a very few television characters get an iconic theme tune.

when a TV series and its soundtrack defines a decade that will never come back again... "our" decade, the 80's
Two of the coolest 😎 cop's of all time truly miss this show the 80s at it's best 👌 👍 😍
MASTERPIECE SERIES. ❤
I love this song when I went to the park and see the boats in the water.😊💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙👍. Also, they have the extended version of Crockett's Theme. And I love it!😀⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
My ringtone off and on since 2005!
Nothing beats "in the air tonight" night drive scene
Indeed
That's amazing scene
Even the film version of Miami Vice wasn't as good as the pilot .
@@akfreed6949 .....the Film version of Vice was a Total Stinker....I'd watch the miami vice pilot episode 10 times over that movie...
I have . Or was it 12 times
Gorgeous!

wonderful Don Johnson performance
I've never seen 'Miami Vice' before, but after seeing the airport chase, plus listening to Crockett's theme song, I absolutely love it.
I first heard this theme over 20 years ago (was born after Miami Vice ended) and it has never left my heart.
DON, ERES UNA OBRA DE ARTE, MONUMENTO.
I miss a decade in which I didnt even live in 😄
one of my favorite songs, wonderful piece!!❤
All scenes were from season 1. Epic.
Colonna sonora di un periodo favoloso!!!
Even though Halloween past, I still wanna dress up like Crockett.

Hey Miami Vice Admin Team,
Are you guys planning to have Miami Vice episodes streamed outside of the US like Australia for example? I would really love to watch them over here!
Jan Hammers, Crockett's Theme, great music, always enjoyed listening to this, just something about it. 👏
Nothing is like the '80's.
it's coming up to forty years now so let's have a special to celebrate and maybe a new season with a new Generation off stars
Simply a cool show with cool people,,,!!👌
Very good! ❤️
Nostalgia man ❤❤❤
Legendary of a theme!

The clothes by Parachute and Hugo Boss as re still full on. 👍🏻🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧
Nailed it again!!
A good gauge I use is:- the shorter Crockett’s hair the better the clothes and episodes 👍🏻🇬🇧❤️🇬🇧
Eh, Crockett's hair was shortest in season 3 but season 2 was better.
Season 5 is my favorite so I disagree.
The best
Simply epic.
My all time favorite 😎
There's only one Don Johnson. I love this men l love Michael Mann and I love Jan hammer.

I love the fashion flashbacks! Such a cool show for the time. Crockett was such a pretty boy (so says my wife 🙂)
This and Theresa's theme are the best songs of the show.
Rain too!
masterpiece
Did that Miami Vice reboot ever show up on TV ? The Movie/TV corporate mergers made it harder to watch NBC up here for my area in Alaska
Honolulu Hi. 1985. We all dressed like Sonny!
All season 1 outfits huh? They're good, but I like a lot of the attire Don "donned" during season 2 the most.
Cool 👍
Hello people, is anyone kind enough to let me know where I can watch/buy this entire show (Europe) Thank you ❤
Oh. Yes.
Exelente
