This is EXACTLY the type of video montage that goes through my head whenever I listen to that musical selection!!! Whoever put this together needs to stay out of my head; you don’t want to be in there for very long! 😆
Man my childhood was the best! I remember Friday nights at 10pm! I used to be so upset my grandma would not let me watch it 😂😂 but when I was in my last year of middle school she would let me watch it and I remember my middle school graduation we all had on the vice outfits! It was pink and white and the slip on shoes! What a time it was in the 80's! Ugh I miss those times
I used to break my neck to get home and watch this show. Get the pizza, and some drinks... Man, I miss those good days. People were different. Women were different also. I'm glad to have been raised at that time.
This is what happens when a MOVIE producer and director guides an ICONIC TV police drama........Thank you Michael Mann for making the 80's more amazing with Miama Vice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A masterpiece of a summary. The quintessence of the character Sonny Crockett. And the ultimate proof that this man stands for the design and fashion of the 80er like nobody else.
Too bad Michael Mann didn't remember that when he made the movie in 2006. Don Johnson and PMT were born to play Crockett and Tubbs. If they were in the movie, maybe it would have been a hit. I like Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx, but they're no Don Johnson and PMT ♥️
I always appreciated how they would show the grittier parts of Miami that existed in the 80's. It was still a city on the upswing out the 70's and emerging from its retirement community roots. There was glitz and construction was rampant, but there were a significant number of rough areas and they did not gloss over them. Even south beach back then was unrecognizable to today.
"Next time you withhold information from me pal, I'm going to have a little chat with your parole officer then you're going to get to play hide the soap". Don Johnson made Sonny Crockett legendary
Only Don Johnson can bring Miami Vice Sonny Side up. I can't think of a character who with his own theme has had such a popular impact on the cultural zeitgeist of the 1980's. He was the very definition of a role model for Men's fashion. Where else are you going to find a character whose theme ranks just as popular if not more so than the shows main theme.
Don was in the front row when the good looks were handed out...and the acting talent.....lucky guy...M.V. still is the best cop show ever, no swearing or bloody violence,it didnt need that junk as it was and still is so cool...... man..
When this show came out in the 80s, one of the school bullies thought he was Crockett, strutting about the place like an peacock on steroids, harassing and intimidating whoever he could find. We just let him get on with it, rolling our eyes in despair as he went. He simply didn't get it. Crockett wasn't an adolescent bully, he was an undercover cop, busting international drug rings and the like. I have always slightly resented this show because it gave narcissists licence to behave like even bigger w*****s. Consequently, I never watched an entire episode the whole way through. Jan Hammer's music, though, is great. The bully? He went bald as a coot in his 20s. Karma.
The rewatchability of Miami Vice is less in the acting and story lines for me (except Castillo and a couple of visitors). The aestetics and the music were something else, taking into account it was the first show that was broadcasted in stereo (where available lol).
I like to watch Nash Bridges I wish I could put Miami vice back on Don Johnson Michael Thomas I was living in Miami I had to chance to see him when I was leaving my job at turnberry off and when I was coming up the causeway they were doing a scene and I blew the horn adamant and that time I had a 1977 formula firebird 455 it would fly
Crockett such a handsome and classic man. Loved the show. Wish it would come back. Great actors.
Jan Hammer is our most successful artist, who was born in Czechoslovakia. We are really proud!
Even I am proud and I'm from Croatia. 😉
Oh yes, his contribution to the show was outstanding. He created the atmosphere for the entire decade of the 80's, not just MV 😎👍🏻❤️
Perfect song to listen to while watching that beautiful Florida sunset. I miss Florida like crazy rn 😩🌴
I've wanted to move to Florida for a few years now. But everyone and their brother is flocking there now.

❤The music, clothes and hair. Sonny Crockett was the perfect role for Don Johnson. So cool 😎 and iconic.
Even 35 years on, his clothes still look awesome.
Love it ! Make one for his partner Tubbs 👍😊♥️ This show and the characters were all awesome together.
I love the Miami vice series and I also love the music and the actors in there that was the best series ever in the '80s
I would say the best ever.

After seeing DJ, I bought a whole wardrobe of linen pants, colorful tees, and unstructered blazers!
What guy didn't!!
Don Johnson was born to play Sonny Crockett. Just as William Shatner was born to play Captain Kirk, Christopher Reeves as Superman.
The Best Music Theme ever. The Best Looks ever. The Best TV Show ever.

True. Their was only 1 James Sonny Crockett.
Right

Best show on tv back then !!
His season 2 style was my favourite.

Great video, but You forgot the Burnett drugdealer ponytail look.
Because it’s a Crocketts theme, not Burnett’s theme 😉

Don Johnson was so good looking for all lady's in this world. Thank you Jesus.
