    When I watch games that fisher plays it's like he is making his opponent make moves that he has to do even tho he doesn't want to do them they can never catch up and there just helpless lol. The best ever fisher was always 25 moves ahead crazy how his mind with all of his problems was able to see such amazing moves

    At 7:17 wouldn't moving the queen to e8 be stronger forcing black to give up the knight and queen if black doesn't give up the knight it's checkmate

      Yeah a better example to stop Qxh7 would have been Qe3 or Qe5 which although protecting the e8 square doesn't do anything about Qxh7 - I was just trying to give a quick example of the Qxh7 threat and didn't notice Qe8 was also threatened.

    WOW that last move , sensational sure it the word for it! unbelievable , i looked at the queen going there , but i didn't see how the bishop could follow up with that check to win back the material , so i was lost on the position , the best i got was rook e1 to check next turn with the bishop to lure black's rook away from defending the 8th rank :s .......

    Hey KC, the last continuation you showed us, the hypothetical one with black playing Qe5, and white playing h5 h6 to reinforce the g pawn, what If black tries Ng5?

    • @kingscrusher
      @kingscrusher  8 років тому

      It doesn't make any difference to the mating idea with Bd5 and Re8 because although Ng5 vacates h7, it just means g8(Q) mates instead :)

      Yeah but isn't Ng5 threatening to take off this bishop? I wouldn't mind seeing the exact way to finish off black after Ng5, thanks;)
