Something seems off. The fact that she told them to order her a new dress, then, in a very short span of time, started shopping for another dress, leads me to believe that she found a dress that she liked more, especially with the new dress being a different style by the same designer. No matter what, she was contracted on the first dress and needed to, at the very least, give them the opportunity to correct the problem. The shop got the 2nd dress with still 4 months to go before the wedding. The fact that the bride went the route of shopping other stores for a different dress than the one she had ordered leads me to be of the opinion that the bride ripped the original dress and knew that just having another exact dress sent, was still going to leave an issue of the bride getting too big to fit the first one, and would put her in the position of having to pay for the remake as well as the one she ripped.
1:52 daughter says we never asked her to order another. But it was clear her mother left the store knowing a replacement was going to be ordered and even asking for a timeline on delivery.
Lots of bad decisions by bride and mom - trying on a dress that already had rips in it and not letting the store know you weren't interested in a replacement gown.
Who in their right mind continues to put on a dress that is already ripped in two different places?!? I question whether the dress was already torn because normally when a dress comes in, it is put on a mannequin to check for defects. It's possible that at the time of fitting, Sarah kept her mouth shut about the plaintiff ripping the dress trying it on (because she did take pictures as to how they treated the dress) and not get confrontational with the plaintiffs to keep from losing them as a client and she took responsibility, as these two plaintiffs appear to be "difficult" women. The plaintiffs not immediately canceling a second dress when the owner took over the problem says something else is at play here... It began to appear as though the plaintiffs held off canceling a second dress in case they couldn't get the same designer at a different boutique. When it turns out they could, they screamed foul when they couldn't get their deposit back from the defendant (original boutique)! Losing three times on a CC challenge speaks volumes and was the clincher!

Interesting… both defendant and plaintiff were at the end unhappy
Plaintiffs are just a pair of Karens
ngl they all sound exhausting to deal with.
