Always love your content . I'm going to go through Harrogate this September and after that i am aspiring to go 7RHA and these videos are really helpful 👍
@@CombatReadyHQ I'm really excited to get going as i have wanted to join the army for quite some time I've watched all your videos on Harrogate and 7RHA. Is there Any tips you have for not only Harrogate and 7RHA but regular army life. (Sorry for the rant 😂) And of course will keep you posted 👍
From a parent of a JS, learning curve for me and for them. No regrets from them and me - For me proud, afraid, politics, H & S and drawing own conclusion from news, opinions, experience etc. Its individuals perspective. My JS is happy and confident in their decision to join up. I'm glad they chose to not sit in an office all day typing! The road less travelled😊
I’m sorry< Ihave a young grandson who is desperate to join but from what I’ve seen, and what I know as former Harrogate Apprentice, I think that they would have been better served leaving it as it was. For a reunion I went back to Harrogate and we were given a tour, I am sad to say the 90% of us came away with the same opinion, IT WONT MAKE SOLDIERS and the UK have enough social workers!!
Maybe this is a stupid question. But can someone explain to me why the word British is used so much? I'm Swedish but rarely say Nordic or Scandinavian, I say Swedish. Like we don't say Nordic soldier or Scandinavian soldier, we specify Swedish or Danish and so on. So why British Solider?
I'm gonna guess, because the Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish and English all serve in the same military and ultimately they are under the rule of the royal family. (No offence intended to anyone who views it differently)

Each Corps or Regiment used to have a Junior Leaders regiment depot back in the day which you joined at 16 .

Does afc(h) line you up for a chance at gaining a commission later on?
I wouldn’t say it does but it may help, a lot of junior soldiers end up going through the ranks and becoming w01
Do British officers still buy their commissions?

Because its called the British Army
Exactly that, it’s British Army, soldiers from England, wales, Scotland and northern island
Forget the infantry and the other one will never make it as a guardsman
Thx for the answer!😀 Maybe we should have a Scandinavian army🤔
