As a Thunder fan, I feel like a thing that is being overlooked by Chicago fans, is that Josh was playing out of position this last season with the emergence of JDub. It sounded like this trade was proposed at the trade deadline, and OKC wanted to run the group they had into the playoffs to see where they stood.
Y’all got a starter from the #1 team in the west for bench player.
The Bulls are better off with a player like Giddey who is already established, instead of a late lottery pick to late first rounder from this draft. It sounds like 2024 picks were all that was being offered.
Bulls opponents will have to guard Josh because he will have the ball on his hands more in Chicago than he did in this last year in OKC. He can drive a kick and it will help if y’all can pick up a sniper. Josh can be 18/7/8 this next season, and I hope he does well for yall.

OKC clearly won and y'all deserve it. I'm a Lakers fan but I live in Missouri. OKC is my "local" team though. I also have a ton of respect for the front office. SGA is my fave non-Laker. But most of all I love the OKC fans. I go watch the Lakers when they are in town and win or lose I have never had a bad experience with y'all. Every game I go to the bar across the street and if my Lakers win then someone buys me a drink. If OKC wins then I buy someone a drink. So shout out to OKC for getting the guy my team never should have let go

Why did you compare Giddey’s career 3pt % vs Lonzo last years % Giddey .337 at age 21 lonzo at 21 was .329 - we just need to see .375 next year LoL

In the closeout game against New Orleans this year, Josh went 4/6 from 3. The previous season, in the play on game against the Pelicans he had 31. Against Boston without Shai, Josh lead the team to score 150 in Boston, the most scored against Boston since like the 80s. He had a triple double against the Knicks… etc… he has had a lot of seriously solid games when he’s had the chance to be the lead guard.
If yall give him a chance and let him breathe a little, I believe he can be great for Chicago.

@@mattnoonan6519 I hear ya - I was just wondering why people are comparing Lonzo’s 3pt % at age 24 to Giddey at age 21, they are just blowing smoke.

The kid was bagging TDs all over the place in his rookie season along with DDs, high scores ROTM awards before Embiid took him out of the remaining season. If this didn't happen, Giddy would have gone on to be ROTY.
YES he is young with still a great deal to work on and improve. The exciting element of all this, is if the kid has the environment anc backing of all. He has the drive. The kid would thrive with a solid vet to take him under their wing. So the garbage off court incidents( which would affect anybody) is never able to happen. Im Aussie, so maybe a bit biased. But the kid has already had so much thrown at him in such a short time.
I think he cops the Ben Simmons tag far too often. Cant shoot, cant dribble, cant play defence, yet check his defence stats. Check his TD and DD stats, all while playing next to all star Shai and trying to maximise usage when ball does get into his hands.
How well the Bulls season transpires is how quickly all players get to know each other.
A few trades left..... This could be a fun season for the Bulls.
So why throw them under the bus before they have started

Bulls need to get Angel Reese. She could be a good starting power forward for them. lol.

The only thing I can say good about Chicago's front office is that they are proof my Lakers don't have the worst

Trade Caruso but not straight up for Giddy. Caruso worth more than that.

Not necessarily you guys, but people don’t seem to value a point guard any longer. That is Giddey’s forte. Has Chicago gone against the grain?

Funny how u brought up, "what's the difference between Lonzo Ballband The Giddy"? The answer is one word: DEFENSE!!!
    Lonzo could play defense.
    The Giddy Cannot.
    That's a pretty huge difference.
    LoL..............
There is also one big difference between the two.
Althougg he is not very good at it. The Giddy still plays basketball.
    Lonzo Ball is retired.

Wow. I can't believe anyone is trying to spin something positive for the dumbest office in the NBA. Are you guys on the payroll or something?
