Glad to see they are making a V2 of this case! I was tempted to get it when I built my own computer, but by the time I did the normal TD500 Mesh was sold out basically everywhere I live! Pure frustration.
I just bought a pre-built that uses the V1. Great case! The V2 doesn't seem much different except the front USB-C and the glass panel connectors. The 3 fans on the face pull some serious dust IN, expect to clean the mesh front every 4-5 hrs of use! Fortunately it's easy to clean.
This is the next case I am planning to give my Dad for his upgrade next year for his birthday present. I know he been wanting to get a nice upgrade for a case for a while now.
I own the V1 and its already an amazing case. Being able to remove the top in the V2 is perfect. However I wish they had made the mechanism from the metal side panel better.
Thank you for your review. I have the V1 of this case in white. It looks great and performs well except, for me, one issue. The depth behind the motherboard, which you mentioned, is totally inadequate. I went with some white cabling extensions from the power supply and have three RGB fans along the top and one added at the rear. All that cabling combined does not fit so that the side panel will close. I worked for a few days trying to get it all crammed in there, but no way was it possible. I am left with operating with the panel off and the case turned sideways to hide the mass of wiring. The case does look great and all those fans are doing their job at reasonable sound levels and as long as no one peaks around the side, all is good. It is the first mid tower I have built in and I don't think I will do another and stay with the full size cases so there is room enough to be fully creative. If anyone at Cooler Master is seeing this, if you had added perhaps 1.5 cm to the depth, this case would be perfect.
I really like a lot this case. I built into this case in 06/2023 system based on 7950X CPU and 7900 XTX GPU (I used to run temporarily on Vega 56 GPU). Building PC in this case was pleasure, easily deattachable top panel made installing extra fans and guiding through CPU power cable quite easy and also regular PC clean-ups are much easier. I had no problems with fitting in Noctua NH-D15S cooler and 7900 XTX TUF also does not feel crammed into tight case :) The only drawback is that bundled fans are DC fans, no PWM, however even NZXT bundles non-PWM fans as well, so I do not consider this as purely Cooler Master's drawback. I actually replaced those fans and added more fans. Now in front mesh I have 3x ASUS TUF 120 ARGB fans and in the rear and top I have 3x Endorfy Stratus 120mm ARGB fans. When you do this mod, case airflow becomes perfect. I also repurposed 2,5" positions for SSDs and I moved here bundled TUF ARGB hub and CoolerMaster PWM/ARGB hub and secured them using 3M Dual lock, so it is not cluttered at the bottom of the case.
You need to change the behaviour of reset button in UEFI. In my case I had to change Flexkey action from "Reset" to "Aura On/Off" and now I can switch off/on RGB using that button
I think it looks good. It would have been better if it was in orange too, but ok. I wonder if any major company makes PC cases which are not vertical. I have an old one from Cooler Master and if it is up to me whenever I build a new PC (unknown time due to lack of money) I will easily pick one over a vertical.
That PC case looks great, but with the size of the new RTX 40 series they feel too small. Please try to review the MSI Prospect 700R PC case. I'm looking forward to get one as it has a lot of space and looks well built with plenty of options for airflow configurations. It's a really expensive case and I would love to see your opinions on it before buying it.
While I like the CM pc case …… I’m loving 🥰 the MSI motherboard and GPU 🤩👍colour and aesthetics. Can always count on a happy n’ cheerful episode and a great review. Thanks Nada 😇👍
Hello there, just a suggestion, it would be nice to see temps and noise level of at least one more popular mesh case for comparison, they are probably very similar, but anyway.
I know, but I usually build something that I feel matches the case. So I can't really compare the data 1:1 with an older case review that had a different built.
That is a nice looking case and I appreciate the Core i5 system. I'm speaking as an American who has never been to Europe...what does the electric cord plug that supplies power to the Seasonic power supply look like? In fact what do wall electric outlets look like in a typical Dutch residence and business? I am sure the Seasonic unit is actually plugged into an uninterruptible power supply like a "Back-UPS", but I am curious about the plug appearance and input power voltage and frequency.
Awesome looking case. Really like the black edition. Agree on the outtake fan, that should've been in it as it wouldn't add a lot to the total cost and just makes it more complete. On the other hand, I could easily take one out of the spc Signum case I use at the moment 🤔🤔...choices, choices
@@TechTesters Would be amazing to have a refresh review about the currently very appealing in price nvme drives like SN770, P3, P3plus, evo970 plus, P5plus in comparison with the newer SN850x, evo980/990 pro etc. You have done those separately, but they are not in a same video for the point of comparison. it would be cool if this existed, everyone i selling the coolermaster td500 V1, you can tell from the corner of the cases, there no thumb screws holding the glass panel.

IDK why they put their logo shape on the mesh. It's redundant since the power button has this shape already, It doesn't add anything, and just ruins the aesthetic of the front panel.
Hey, The decision to leave the rear fan out is because the rear fan does not improve the thermal performance by a lot to justify the cost increase. Also regarding the motherboard tray looking a bit messy, you can actually take the PSU cover plate and attach it onto the side of the motherboard tray to clean up the look and you don't lose the panel itself :)
Good to see another case that is properly differently looking AND relatively affordable.
Agreed!
Very beautiful! Bright, and uplifiting, I'd even say inspiring. Case is also nice
yeah this lady is cute
The Lady is HOT~~~~~~ I’d take her out all day everyday!!!!!! We love you❤❤❤❤ and the case 😂😂😂

Same here, though I’ve now upgraded it beyond recognition. Think I might get this V2 and do a swap over. The white looks really nice too.
Cooler Master TD500 Mesh actually is one of best cases ever for temperatures i think was in top 10
4:54 ty for noise level but also we need under load noise level.

This is a perfectly good case with lots of airflow. I've used it several times and it works well for typical air cooling 😀
Have you tried an eatx motherboard in the case?

Plenty of alternatives thankfully. What would be your case of choice for this budget?
Those Hyper 212 variants are super overpriced in the current market. Pretty bad performance too.

In such a case, the assembly must be water-cooled for the processor☝️ By the way, Coolermaster fans are quite noisy 🤷🏻♂️
