Not sure where you're gett6ng your information, but the bassist is MISA, and she's still with the band. In fact band still features the original 2013 lineup 11 years later.

These are some of the best days for rock music! Having played in rock bands since the 60’s, I truly feel there’s no better time to be into rock / hard rock / progressive rock than now! I still give the hundreds of cutting edge bands formed in the 60’s - 90’s, like the Beatles (50’s), to YES, to RUSH, to Foo Fighters, to… well, you know the massive list… I still give these mega bands with being first to blow the pants off the previous trends in music, and coming up with cutting edge innovation, melody, structure and listenability.
Yes, the 1930’s through the 1950’s had their own innovative periods, but I’m talking after 50s rock. But with bands like Band-Maid, The Warning, Jinjer, and The Band Geeks (who are revising the YES sound with Jon Anderson to a new level of excellence), just to name three -- plus all the other bands and the ones I’ve yet to hear -- we are crazy lucky to be living in this, the second golden age of rock music! 🤘😉Thx, MKoW!

Band-Maid! Band-Maid! Band-Maid! If you like the bass, this is definitely the band for you. Band-Maid is known for letting everyone in the band to shine as long as it serves the song. And they are masters of showcasing talent without overpowering their fellow bandmates. in fact, they are more than just bandmates, they are family and support each other...no egos get in the way of them making great music. I don't know if I would ever call them "weird"...er...um..... Hmmm...810 year old small pigeon that's an old man inside. Gorilla that has a bottomless pit of a stomach, also has been know to fling banana peels into the crowd. Barefoot Assassin drinking whiskey straight or doing beer opening ceremonies. A genius composer in love with their lead singer who is often called an airhead. I guess you could call them weird.🤔😂 Continue on the journey. Still have tons of material to discover with this band. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
your cat is correcting you. The bassist is MISA, and she has always been, and always be, Band-Maid's bassist. Perhaps your cat Sensed a Barefoot Assassin outside.

Band-Maid has had an unchanged lineup since they started in 2013, so you probably mixed them up with another band. Lovebites perhaps?
Dolls aside (LOL), DICE is one of the songs that captures the essence of Band-Maid, prominent bass, riff driven, extremely talented musicians, and meaningful lyrics (there are band produced subtitles on most of their newer videos). This song is about not hiding away from life, but a call to get up and out to do your best at what you want (seize the day). Thanks for the review and you'll find that as good as they official videos are, live is a different matter. Enjoy you journey.

progressed.....check out Shambles....It will highlight every member of the band and really shows off their musicianship that is second
to no one !!!!! This band has the original 5 members and Shambles shows how tight this band is. The key with BM is keep listening
because they play a wide range of genres and it's just the matter of finding the songs you really like. The funny thing thats widely
known is that they really don't have a bad song.....I think I've said this is my fav BM song about 50 times !!!

@dennisthemenace671 I didn't want to say that infact I'm not sure that she's still drinking during concerts because I think she's so experienced now that she doesn't suffer from anxiety anymore and after a concert Miku says that they eat and drink like pirates.
@@stephenchigwidden7504 Oh MiSA is still drinking during concerts 2022 and 2023 she had a pint bottle of Jim Beam n Beer , saw her take a sip of whiskey but mostly drinking Beer , during the 2022 tour she had her own opening ceremony .

Misa has talked about the fact that she considered quitting in 2016, but not because of any creative or personal differences. It was just that she was getting burned out, not being sure that the band was gaining traction. Management persuaded her to sit on it till after their American tour, which is what ended up changing her mind. People singing along to their songs on the other side of the world and chanting your name can do that to ya.
Wrong. Misa did not leave the band. She is still one of the 5 original members.

Both bands are big fans of each other. They played a concert together in Tokyo. They also released a song collab recently called Show Them
Miho was the bassist for Lovebites, and MISA is the bassist for Band-Maid. Fami joined Lovebites to fill Miho's shoes. I mean no disrespect to Miho, but Fami is an upgrade for Lovebites.
They are a ROCK band, just ask Miku.
as a 58 year old metal head that loves growls and screams who also loves punk rock .... this is one of my all time favorite songs. Edit- There have been no changes to the band . 11 years all original members to this day.

MISA the bassist hasn't left the band and they have had the same line-up since they began 11 years ago. Probably thinking of Miho, who left Lovebites. You must be confusing Band-Maid bassist Misa with someone else. While turnover is all too common within Japanese bands, Band-Maid (at least so far) has stayed together with the same members since the Summer of 2013 when Saiki joined the original quartet. It is true that Misa considered quitting Band-Maid that first year when it sometimes seemed that Band-Maid wasn't gaining traction, but since then, the band has developed a close working relationship. They have come to call themselves "a miracle band" since they're surprised that the five of them, with such different personalities, have managed to stay together for so long and have become such close friends. Last year, during interviews for their Tenth Anniversary Tour Final documentary, Misa stated that she hoped that Band-Maid would still be performing together "when we're all Grandmothers!" I think she really meant it.
And on top of that, Band-Maid recently announced that they are now self-managed under their own management company, MAIDIT co. LTD. The Maids all have a vested interest in staying together!

Asian Heavy Metal? Japanese Hard Rock. You might even say J-Rock. Their anime theme songs commissions certainly qualify as that. And there is no member names Miho. MISA has been with them from the start. No member ever left BAND-MAID. Fami replacde Miho in LOVEBITES.
