Misa (Bassist) is legitimately one of the greatest bassist ever. I'm talking one of the all time greats. The drummer (Akane) is incredible. The lead guitarist (Kanami) writes all the music. The number of incredible songs she has written in the last 7 years blows my mind. Miku (rhythm guitar) is the band founder, back up vocalist and writes the lyrics. She is basically the spokesperson for the band.
I saw them live in Detroit and they are incredible I was on Misa side her bass playing skills are amazing 🤩 she a badass bass player!!! She smiled at me few times was amazing 🤩 and Akane drumming hits you like a wave 🌊 she is amazingly talented at the drums 🥁🥁🥁 Akane wave 👋 to us after the show the they getting on the bus 🚎 and Miku is amazing 🤩 she sings beautiful her vocals are incredible Po!! And she plays guitar 🎸 awesome 👏 too also smile at me Po!!! And Kanami is the GOAT on lead guitar 🎸 she is freaking amazing 🤩 and of course we have the Ice Queen Saiki her vocals are so perfect and beautiful when the Queen tells us to jump we listen to her lol she also smiled at me and also pointed up to my sister and smiled at her in the balcony best band in the world 🌎 🎸😊👍🥁🎵👏👏👏👏
Thank you for your reaction. I don’t have a favorit Band-Maid song when it concerns the composition but my #1 is Manners as it started my musical journey with the Maids. Both MV and online live, combined with Black Hole, (also a fantastic song) are in different ways good versions of Manners. I think no other song could have made a more perfect introduction of the Maids to me as a first listen. Have fun! :)
Great reaction to a great song and the greatest rock band in the world! My favorite song is probably Puzzle and they dropped a live video for it fairly recently. Btw, I love your hair!
Hi Millie. You asked viewers for their favorite Band-Maid song... Well I have an MP3 disk in my truck with my favorite Band-Maid songs.... 53 OF THEM!!! Yes, 53 favorite Band-Maid songs. That's how good they are. And they can't be defined as one genre, they can do it all, well, almost all. Hard rock, pop-rock, acoustic, ballad, punk, jazz, I'm always surprised by their range. I read another commenter somewhere that said "Band-Maid does not belong to a genre, Band-Maid IS a genre". That is all. Love!
I saw them in Seattle last October. I have tickets for Portland this year. I am learning Japanese I would love to live there for a little bit. But my Japanese is terrible. :)
I think of "Dice" as a prototypical Band-Maid song and the video does it justice. The song is all about Risk-Reward, the relationship between those involved, and who is really in control. The lyrics seem to go all over the place, but it's really all about questioning how one sees themselves in relation to others. The 'little blindfolded girl' sitting in a chair holding her doll throughout the song is disturbing. Is she being held captive? And the song questions who is doing what and for whom? And why am I allowing myself to be treated like this? You're taking a bet on me but then not allowing me to fully achieve my potential. At the end the little girl realizes that she is in control, she needs to take off her self imposed blindfold, drop the doll, stand up for herself, assume adult responsibilities, and take those first few steps on her own. This song has a message! Band-Maid keeps on writing songs like this: songs that are about human reality and communicate a meaningful message. Miku's lyrics have "The Ring of Truth" about them. By collaborating with her, I think Saiki's lyrics have picked up on this trait; "HATE?" is a good example of this.
Can you win with Dice? I consider the real risk is not staying connected with all things Band-Maid -- their music, their interviews, their concerts, media, and merch. Staying outside of the Maid-world is the dicey thing! 🤙😂🤘 Thx, Millie!
You can't go wrong with MANNERS studio/live don't matter BLOOMING studio version is fire, but when I saw them in Daytona HOLY SHYT! they nailed it! In fact Stitch Adam's got a primo recording of the full 8 song set a very good unobstructed at WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE it is lit AF! The security guy in the shot is a legend!!! You could say react to different versions of the same songs studeo/live/acoustic/BAND=MAIKO I know a reactor who's up to over 140 Band-Maid reactions. Heres WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE so flipping good!!! Best fan cam ever! ua-cam.com/video/vjZkNeoGmhc/v-deo.html
The instrumentalits, all attended the music conservatory - in addition the lead-guitarist, her parents insisted she acquire a degree in business before comitting to a music career. Favorite: Non-Fiction Days, the live version.
Hey Millie, when I saw that you were reacting to "Dice" I knew you were going to love it! This one is kickass from the very start and Band-Maid never stops supplying their radiant avalanche. I liked that you mentioned their progressive aspect, there is plenty of that in many of their songs. Although I'm a guitarist and adore Kanami's brilliant playing, I was pleased to hear you comment on how Misa's potent bass playing really drives the band. She is sort of their secret weapon really. So melodic, inventive and such a total Bada$$! I recommend you listen to her on "about us" (gorgeous) and "Manners" live (she actually sounds a bit like The Who's Entwistle a bit on that one). Glad you enjoyed it!!
Since you seem to like progressive rock I think listening to Band-Maid is a very good choice. Because their music contain a lot of progressive elements. The proof is that many Rush fans are also fans of Band-Maid, including myself.
Band-Maid, Rush, YES, Emerson-Lake & Palmer, Moody Blues. They all "said" rock is great! So let us make it better, wider, complex. I've been listening to rock since 1964. Many times, it got stale, safe, what the label wanted. But then some new bands, in small venues, said, "Now hear this!"
They have another great song, Called ( Hate ? ) I just learned about this band and Hate? , was my introduction to the band. I was absolutely floored. I'm a fan now.
just a suggestion... when you do Band Maid you should really find an official Live version if they have it .... the MV's are good... live is Great... have a super day .....
In the case of Dice I completely disagree. Yes they are incredible live. I even flew to Houston to see them live. But Dice and that MV is my absolute favorite. I would also give a close second to From now on.
Very nice what's up with "THE WARNING"??? LIVE AT TEATRO METROPOLITAN CDMX. Pro shot videos. Enter Sandman, Martirio. Animosity, Dust to Dust, Choke, Disciple. Come on man where's the love? TWA (the warning army)🤟🎶☮️
Mind if I join when it comes to moving to Japan? With what I've been listening to musically for a few years now, I feel quite out of place here. 🤭 I have a feeling you're going to like the latest 'No God' live release. 😉 Greetings from the German Maidiacs division. _____________________ _"You think I'm laughing because I'm happy? You either sound like you're recording in an empty jumbo jet hangar or we can't hear you at all. 🤣 I'm surprised you hadn't reacted to "Dice" yet. Most reactors get to that one early in their BM journey.

Yeay BLOOMING is the song i really want them to do when i saw them and they killed!

I LOVE YOUR REACTION! More Band-Maid Please!

This is an old rerun reaction to the Maids, right, Millie!

CC On...Kobato the bird...she good with the word...s :-) Dice has always been a favourite...but 'Manners' MV is great (They're ALL great!!)

Yeah the that bass friggin awesome, great rhythm too, 😎
moritorium or wonderland , are both great

or YES fans like me
@@wanderleyjesus6772 Yeah. I'm also a fan of YES. Maybe if you like progressive rock in general, you might like Band-maid too.

Check out the performance of this track at Lolapalooza this year it is incredibly good.
RIght now, my fav would be "Influencer" or "Unleash" or.... so many other ones !
Millie, this si a ReRun!!! This is at least 3 years old.
This cool song!❤
カッコイイ!!
NICE!
"Hnuky-dory"😆👍
just a suggestion... when you do Band Maid you should really find an official Live version if they have it .... the MV's are good... live is Great... have a super day .....
Except for this OMV of Dice. It sounds better than any other Dice MV, live or otherwise. ;-)🤘
@@TomClark-Futoura agreed - the mv has a real punch to it that the live versions seem to be lacking - still my favorite maid mv 5+ years in
In the case of Dice I completely disagree. Yes they are incredible live. I even flew to Houston to see them live. But Dice and that MV is my absolute favorite. I would also give a close second to From now on.
MISA MISA MISA!!!!!
I think Fami the new Bassist from Lovebites do it also very well. I hear her bass on the new album more than the bass before her.
yes a nonstop rocker
ボーカルが美しいと言いましたが、あなたは負けてない。美しい
Awesome
you need to listen to No God , Misa basically plays a 4 minute bass solo

Check out Luli Lee "Flame"
I would put Misa at the level of Steve Harris when he was her age. Misa uses a pick more but I say it is a fair comparison.

Is she reuploading everything and not saying that she is ?

This is a re-upload from a few years ago.
If you chop up those dice you're going to ruin them. 😲
sorry😊
Japanese Felmale Metal Music is on the rise. It is the BEST. So many great groups to discover.
