Thanks for the nice review on the updates FLX made to fhe 359. I like the painted frame. Sun visors are not my thing. The best sun visor is one that you can remove completely. I like watching the small view of you shifting twin sticks. That engine in fhe video sounded great in a twin stick truck, good choice.
No problem dand, appreciate the feedback! Painted frame is nice for sure, amazing how much such a small thing can add to the overall look and feel. I’m not a big visor guy either, just wanted to make sure people knew how to get to that sticker node. I prefer em out of the way personally.
Best thing about the 359 is the mirrors are positioned well, making backing it up easy. 2 best thing is the old 3 spoke, stock steering wheel. I like the original factory looking stacks the best, the rain flappers area cool touch. Hat's off to the mod makers, they add so much to ATS.
@@dand3975 yeah, great visibility in the FLX 359 for sure. I’m going to pretty much always run the straight pipes with the rain caps in my builds, such a cool touch. But amazing that so many options are in the truck now. Appreciate the comment dand!
I’ll send you the code, you just have to change the button and shifter base assignments, like usual. I’ll also send you the gearbox layout file to add, so it appears on your drop down within the game. Using the 6x4 transmission in the spicer_diy mod
I still don’t have the Astro, I have Corey’s Cruiseliner though. Of course I’d probably run a different engine in that because it’s a Mack. Could run a dd in the Ford CLT 9000 though, I’ll look into it.
I'm just so sceptical to buying anything, I bought several trucks that never gets updated..e.g Kishadowalker skips 10 game patches even though some trucks couldn't be used. Matute mods KW T600 was recommended by Full tilled gaming, I got to play that one for 2 months. RTA is nowhere to be seen. The only one I have bought from that you can consistently trust is Ruda. I would love a 359 though, but I'm afraid to waste more money.
If you mean the twin stick setup, everything (including hardware and adapters) are discussed in the "How to build a twin stick setup" video. Do you have specific questions that I should clarify? If something is confusing or unclear, let me know, and I'd be happy to assist.
So would I have to buy 2 more wheels 2 so it all works or just the base for the shifter and plug it in bc I want to do the main shifter and the have splitter and range on the other sticks
@@hammerdown717 if you watch the hardware section of the tutorial video (timestamps are in the description), I point out that you will buy the shifter base by itself, and you need to buy an adapter to convert the end of it the wire to USB.

Great video! Love the twin sticks, really cool how you manage to use those.
Thanks for the feedback ogubas! Yeah, twin sticks are pretty fun for sure!
Awesome job on that truck. Looks great.
Thanks CRay, appreciate the feedback! One of the best trucks out there for sure.
Another great video. Very informative. Keep it up bud!
Appreciate it, as always Spigner!
Nice truck
Thanks Elijames! Appreciate the comment!
Nice truck and video. It's a pity though that is does not feature a animated jakebrake and a trailer brake lever
The FLX has a jake brake lever that animates, I don't think it has a trailer lever tho
Yeah, animated Jake but no trailer brake that I have noticed

@@dand3975 I wish the mirrors were more like the 379 tbh, more pushed out, but yeah i agree, they work pretty good
I really need to setup a 6x4 Spicer for mine, just not sure what to edit in my controlls to change the 4x4 to a 6x4

@@McCoyPowell2007 you have to contact the developer (FLX) if you’re having issues logging in and re-downloading.
What's the correct mod order, I have the truck but there was no mod order in the download..can u take a screen shot or reply with the order ..
Top to bottom: skin packs, SISL’s add on, FLX def, FLX base mod.

Outlaw’s 359 is free and pretty decent. Check the links in the description of my last video to get his 359 and w900.

Whats mod is this shaking steering wheel?
I’m just using force feedback that is built into the wheel (Logitech). The mic is picking up all the rattling.
Can I buy 3 logitech g29 shifters and make it a 3 stick or no
Yes, just buy a g29 shifter base for each stick you want. You can even mix and match (logitech / thrustmaster, for example).
