@@teenageapple3788 It's literally one of the important tips people forget from the tutorial... provided you are ready to shoot at it, it's really easy to take down the pod once the armor comes off, preventing any rain. Pro-tip: ALWAYS cripple Flyfish (destroy one side of the two). Aim for the left container (the blue one) as that is the one that picks inkling randomly versus the right one (which is red) that always picks the closest inking. Do NOT destroy them completely (unless you really desperate for the quota) until the last 28 seconds of the phase. That way they can't respawn.
another pro tip: if there's like, 3 seconds left in a round and youre getting overrun? jump in the water! you dont count as dead until the drowning animation finishes, and nothing can kill you while thats happening, meaning that it can actually save you that round!
On Ruins map, there are two space shuttles in the background. I tried using them as a Low tide landmark, but I sucked at it. Instead, I use the city skyline. That is always in the direction of the egg basket. In your video you can clearly see it at 3:30. Hope this helps!
I am a regular HLM player and I feel that this list needs major changes. Your tier list is based on easiness to use, which is fine for new players but this strikes me because the weapons that you rank low have so much potential. I think that all the chargers (except goo tuber) should be higher on the tier list, the damage and pierce they have is very useful. For the dynamo, you can roll over everything, which kills a cohock instantly and kills a goldie in two rolls, so it should be raised heavily. All of the splatlings should too. The mini has high mobility and high dps and you can partially charge the heavy, hydra, and ballpoint (also, I don’t see the ballpoint on the list). The Luna blaster should also be raised because of its dps. On the other hand, the jet squelcher should be lowered heavily. I get that the range makes it easy to use but it’s just so ineffective on waves that require dps, such as goldie seeking, rush, and grillers. Slosher should be lowered too, maybe to C or D tier since it’s dps isn’t as great as others. And octobrush should be at F tier, it’s mobility is ok, but literally all the weapons have higher dps than it, except inkbrush, which is much easier to use because it doesn’t require as much ink as octobrush and can run eggs/revive people easily. It should still stay in D tier though. Sploosh, splash, dapples, and splat brella should be raised heavily. The sloshing machine should be lowered since it can’t pierce effectively and it doesn’t have a strong dps. The tenta brella should be raised a bit; it’s brella canopy can be used in a multitude of ways to get you out of sticky situations and can handle rush. I also don’t see the grizzco charger or slosher, which should be high on the tier list. The charger can clear out grillers, motherships, lessers, Goldie’s, etc. in a split second. The slosher can pierce through basically anything which is especially useful for rush. What I am saying is that the weapons with strong dps should be high on the tier list, because in HLM, that is what you need or else the egg basket will get overrun with bosses and lessers quickly. Please let me know if you disagree with anything, this is just from a more technical point of view.
@Gameboy224 Oh yeah, I actually love using the E-liter in salmon run cause of that. I just hate the scoped version since it doesn't let you hold a charge, the E-liter kind of needs that in order to reposition and get around armored bosses.
Yeah in battles, the splat charger is a far better option than the E-liter. However in salmon run the E-liter can actually take great advantage at dealing major damage.
Better pro tip for Flyfish: only target the blue container of the flyfish, and leave it alone after that. Why? Because the containers have their own targets, with the red one targeting the closest player, and the blue targeting a random. In higher ranks it's more beneficial for you to get rid of a single bucket, as not only do more bosses spawn, but there can only be a certain amount of a type of boss on the map at once, meaning that having three flyfish that can only target a single person each. Plus, flyfish are usually some of the farthest enemies from the basket, so wasting your time trying to get eggs from them is usually a bad idea.
The red and blue Flyfish baskets do different things! The missiles from the red basket target the *closest* player. If you're trying to solo the Flyfish immediately, target *red* first, so you won't have to worry about missiles while charging ink for the second bomb. Missiles from the blue basket targets a *random* player. If you only have time for one bomb, go for the *blue* basket. In practice it severely limits its range, and whoever's closest will probably have enough time to finish the flyfish off.
Here's a pro-tip I thought I should mention. If by some miracle you have a Dynamo Roller and you're searching the pipes for a Goldie, here's what you do. You walk straight towards the Goldie, locking eyes with it in the process, and ever-so-slowly ink the floor, attacking it in the process. If done with enough precision, you should be able to make the Goldie burst and leave all its golden eggs behind in a matter of only a few seconds.
When a wave begins there will be a little shadow of a wave at the bottom of the screen. The shadow will show what the tide is, so shadow is close to the bottom of the screen means that it’s low tide basket is lowered to the ground. The shadow takes about half of the screen means high tide
I disagree with some of the tier list, specifically with the G charger. Not only is it fun, but I find it quite good for eliminating any boss almost immediately. As long as you manage your ink properly (something any good Splatoon player would do) you can take down most bosses in less than a second as soon as the weak point is revealed.
Tip: On mothership, (especially on Ark Polaris) a charger can destroy all incoming salmon, and leave the others to collect the eggs. Me and some buddies used this to get 39 eggs in.
This tier list is mostly correct but there are a few changes that I would make. First of all: the splatlings. The splatlings on this list are ranked lower than they should be (except for the Hydra, it's charge time is just too long for salmon run). The Mini and Heavy should be in C tier _at least._ They both turf incredibly well and have good range. The charge time on the Mini is of no real consequence, and even on the Heavy the range and fire rate more than make up for the charge time. The Ballpoint should be in either A or S tier. It has great range, turfs well and it's short range fire mode means it is also a beast at close range. It can also recharge at any time so the only thing you should have to worry about is ink management. The Nautilus should also at least be in C tier. It may have less range and a longer charge time than the Heavy but makes up for this with mobility and the recharge mechanic. You can charge up near the basket and then swim right to the shore line with a charge ready, and you can turf as you are going because of the recharge mechanic. The Nautilus plays a lot like a shooter, and having better range, damage and fire rate than the N-ZAP makes it play like an N-ZAP on steroids, the only downside is that you can't refill your ink while holding a charge. There are also a few other weapons which are ranked a little low. I'd place the Bamboozler in D tier, it charges quickly and has good damage output, and it shreds through drizzlers and steelheads as long as you are using fully charged shots. Tap shots turf poorly but a few full charges lined up works well enough, even if it takes a bit longer. The Explosher should be moved up to B tier - it has very good range and damage, just watch out for smallfry. The final adjustment I would make is placing the Splash-o-matic in B tier. It has only slightly less range than the N-ZAP and it's accuracy means that when you are turfing you leave fewer gaps. The accuracy also means that the dps is the same even at the very edge of their range, whereas other weapons would tend to miss a few shots.
I know I should've expected as much seeing how low all the other chargers ranked, but the Grizzco charger should absolutely be at the top. It's a weapon that can insta-kill practically any boss within a mile radius in a mode all about killing bosses, what more can you ask for? _also the Grizzco brella is a downgrade from the regular brella don't @ me._
Oh my god this tier list. Ugh. I won't go into this much but ballpoint in short range mode is one of the strongest weapons in salmon run for one. And jet squelcher is one of the weakest.
yeah, naut is also really great (and has 1 frame slower charge time than heavy which makes near 0 difference) really should do more research before making a tier list, cuz this sucks also the newer grizzco weapons are much better than the old ones by far
ExPic, in a SR server, everyone lures so the tactics and play styles are very similar. The biggest difference is either kill flyfish, or cripple flyfish. Because of this, the tier lists are consistent.
Good video, as always. If I had to comment on one thing about the tier list, I don’t think you’re giving the Heavy Splatling enough credit. Looking at the tier list, the general trend seems to be that weapons with long range and a high fire rate are best for Salmon Run, and I completely agree with that logic. It’s why the Jet Squelcher is so good. However, if we were to go by this rule, why isn’t the Heavy Splatling at least average? It has longer range than a squelcher, and a way faster fire rate, which in turn gives it a much higher damage output. I understand the idea that “chargers are too clunky and slow to be used efficiently in salmon run”, but even then, the Heavy’s charge time is decently fast for a charger. Not once in salmon run profreshional using any Splatling (save for the Hydra, that one just sucks for this mode) have I died because my charge was too slow, and even if I had another weapon with a constant fire rate, I likely would’ve been dead anyways. Maybe you could argue that the Heavy is not mobile enough for high tier, especially since you can’t stack run speed up in Salmon Run, but if mobility is so important, why is the .96 gal, the clumsiest, slowest shooter in the game all the way up in b tier? In my opinion, I think the Heavy Splatling is the Best weapon in the game for salmon run, and I was disappointed to see it so low on the tier list, but to each their own I suppose. (Side note, but this whole rant is coming from someone who doesn’t like using the Heavy Splatling) I’m eager to see other’s opinions on this Also, one tip I could offer to newer profreshinals is for Cohock Charge, if you have a good weapon, please actually use it. Whenever cohock charge pops up, it seems everyone wants to use the cannons, which then leaves one person to retrieve all the eggs, and then time runs out and you fail the shift. Save the cannons for the people who got stuck with an eliter or hydra Splatling, because god knows they won’t be able to use it
On Ruins of Ark Polaris, high tide is just stupid easy. I get almost always 30 or more eggs on a wave where it is high tide. You can see almost all boss salmonids in
Another Pro-Tip for Grillers: Once you killed a few of them and you are the one who is targeted by the next Griller, go away and hang out at some wall NOT RIGHT NEXT TO THE EGGS. This way your teammates have time to revive each other and get all those eggs in. But pay attention to when they are finished, so that you can swim back and kill the next Griller.
I had a terrible shift a few days ago with this one, but it might be cause of the other 3. These variable range and firing rate is a little unsettling for me...
Just a tip for players who get the weapons with the best mobility : go after stingers and fly fishes please, don't let your chargers teammates do it, they just don't have the mobility and one good player can only carry the whole team so long.
I'd put the Nautilus and Balpoint at C. With both Splatlings, you can stop firing to recharge, then let the next Salmonid wave have it. Plus, the Ballpoint gets more accurate and has more range as you fire it. Sure, the Nautilus has shorter range than the Heavy Splatling, but that means it's better at shorter ranges. Both Splatlings, for sure, have their advantages. It's not as good as the Heavy, but it's WAY better for killing than the Hydra.
This is a well-made video, but I couldn't help but notice your unduly rating of the bamboozler. Despite it's lower damage output, after using it you will notice that it is arguably the fastest moving weapon in the game because of it's low charge time and higher range. Along with its amazing mobility, it can deal damage to lines of salmonids and quickly dispose of annoyances such as steelheads and steel eels. I demand that you create a video analyzing the bamboozler so that you can truly understand how powerful of a weapon it is.
not only have i made post-wipe saves before, but once and only once i got the bomb to delay enough to revive myself. the biggest tip that no-one seems to consider is that walls are your friend, especially in high tide. stingray, maws, and bad rng are the only things that can hurt you if high enough, as well as adding mobility options not normally available. if you dont need to work 200% to recover from a really nasty wave, you should have at least one person providing those options. Explosher is a good weapon for that, but does suck in most other scenarios. i feel like the brellas, ink brush, rapid blasters, and mini splatlings are undervalued on your list. ink brush can get in and out quickly and is one of the better egg-drone weapons, the brellas can save you from some tight spots and allow you to turn the tide, especially when you can use the tenta variant well, the mini splatling is the most usable of the splatlings with a short charge time and low ink consumption, and the rapid blasters have significant damage output for their range. your list seems to generally but longer ranged weapons lower on the list, but what that tells me is that you dont use raged weapons. you can claim that your list isnt biased("by the ideal player who plays every weapon at the same high level"), but the fact i can disagree already proves that false. Squiffer and bamboozler are also far more usable than you suggest. Honestly, i feel like the dualies class might be overrated on your list. they have high ink output, yes, but you often feel the most prone with them. low range and large hoards of salmonids making ink far more unpredictable means you cant properly utilize the roll in most cases, being only used as an escape tool which the brellas do better. also, dualies is the type of weapon that intentionally or not, makes you act more aggressive, causing far more deaths with their nerfed escape options.
I can't tell you how many times I lost in Salmon Run at Ark Polaris because we don't meet the quota, especially when all the eggs are near the bottom of the map 🙃
Imagine how OP the grizzco slosher would be if Nintendo let you bring it into multiplayer battles. It would be really easy to take advantage of, and "ink saver main" takes care of the ink usage problem.
Mi gente just wanna say that I have matured and I’m very sorry for being snobby in any past tier list explanations. (Edit) that said, I humbly disagree with carbon being anywhere near mid. It is third-worst weapon in Salmones (both brushes are worst weapons you could get in a rotation), and I would place rollers into D-tier. I’ll let you slide with the other placements.
I just wanna say, why do the grillers now drop 5 eggs instead of 3? They were never that hard. Do people really suck *this* much at salmon run? I'm astounded.
Mr. Astronaut idk if I ever said this but that dog tip changed my life. My parents slacked on training their dog when he was young and he never came when called. I dont live with them all the time but doing this was enough to get him to come for me. Makes dealing with him so easy. I still suck at salmon run tho
I think with Arc, that leading Boss Salmonids to the egg basket is worth the risk of losing map control. Most of my losses on that map are from not meeting the quota due to the team engaging and defeating the Maws, Steelheads etc. at the bottom of the map.
Mini Splatling needs to be way higher! It can splat nearly every boss with a single charge. Drizzler, Scrapper, Stealhead, Stinger, and Steel Eel all go down to a single full charge of the Mini. And the thing is, it charges so quickly! Needs to be higher imo.
grinding the rails during the glowfly rounds will gather the salmonid by the end, leaving your team to shred through them. With a well timed bomb throw, you can clear out a bunch of them faster than a new player deciding chargers are too hard.
thinks you underestimate dynamo too much tbh sure weapon use lot of ink so one thing is to not use flick you one shot all the lesser salmonoid just by running into them you can os 5 cohock for like 18 + 5 % ink while most weapon would use full tank and waste time also dynamo is very good to kill the goldie fast on the goldie search event
hydra splatling is a monster on marooners bay and ark polaris, on marooners by its perfect for defending the briges, creating a save zone for your teammates (it also utterly destroys maws and drizzlers in one burst) and ark polaris is basically one big giant oig ground for you to rain death upon the enemy below, the Grizz slosher is also great, but its more comarable to a dynamo roller with piecing attacks than an actual slosher
Pro-tip: The stingray is probably the best special to use in Salmon run. Perhaps only for the fact that it can literally kill any boss without waiting for the Flyfish to open, the Steelhead to charge, the Scrapper to rotate, the Steel Eel to get turned around, to get close to the Stinger, or the Drizzler to flip over. The one and only exception could be the Maws, which is the easiest boss to take down, by Splat bomb, people... Don't just try to shoot them when the snap at you or your teammates. Drizzlers are your worst nightmare. Please return the bubbles to them. They're like Ghasts in Minecraft.
Maws (the sharks) always pick on specific inkling when they spawn to go after. if you find that you are that lucky inkling, draw it back towards the basket and away from your team, at least a little bit. it'll only be a couple seconds downtime from fighting the main onslaught, but it can prevent a death caused by being slowed from salmonid ink and maws popping up to consume your soul, hope, and happiness. Also, chum (the big bois) have a knockback effect. if you need a way out fast and are at full health, get between a chum and your destination and get sent flying away. Risky, but it works.
If you are in a situation where you are the last one alive, unable to save your teammates, and is close to the Water at within 5 seconds left, *you can jump into the water at the 3 sec mark.* You will survive the wave
It's good to know other players' and your opinion about weapons ! Good video ! Mine would be : Bloblobber Solid A (they had to nerf it so bubbles cannot go through several salmons at a time) Explosher Freakin' Flerkin' F !!! They only added the Flyfish killer effect cause it's bad (TERRIBLE firing rate, cannot hit multiple ennemies, targeting is pretty hard to getting used to because of the tomahawk angle of the shoot) Nautilus solid B Ballpoint C (variable range is a problem for me) Grizzco Sniper D (two words RUSH FATALITY...) Grizzco Sloshing Machine D (far too slow, high ink consumption, weird angle of shoot a little like the Explosher, very bad at inking walls) I might do a video in French about a tier List !
Still think Grizzco Slosher deserved more love. Don't know why? Lemme explain. Things it can pierce: Flyfish Drizzlers Grillers Scrappers Steel Eels Steelhead Things it is good at doing: -Slaying large groups of enemies like a roller's flick -Breaking all of a Stinger's pots in a single shot -Defending during Glowflies (Sometimes) You just gotta be conservative with your shots. It's good, but ya gotta know how to use it.
Sting Rays are the long shot snipers of Splatoon with practically unlimited Range. Take advantage of this when taking out Stingers in Hard to reach spots like the far left spawn point on Marooners Bay. Also useful for taking out Flyfish by hiting them directly at the center.
From easiest to hardest. 5: training grounds. Meant to be the easiest by the devs 4: salmon smoke yard. Moving platforms are a godsend 3: lost outpost. Walls are very useful! 2: marroners bay. Nothing to save you, but nothing that hard... 1: ruins of ark polras. The newest map, it’s the only hard map in my opinion
I feel like Spawning Grounds is the worst stage for high tide. Seriously, you have such little space it's unreal. And no one wants to use those "rail" things where you can't even swim in your ink.
Pro-tip, if you have a roller and it's salmon rush just place your roller down and very slowly move and the salmons will be more dead than the big chungus meme
I got the game (way) late and Ruins of Ark Polaris was the very first map I've ever gotten in Salmon Run. I found the map fun to play in at first (and still do) but it can become a damn nightmare when you reach profreshional!
I know this video is a year old, but if anyone’s in the comments still looking for a tip, here’s one! During ‘the golden one’ aka sewers (or drain pipes), if you have the dynamo, position yourself in front of the goldie. You can roll into the goldie and get LOTS of golden eggs and with just the right positioning and movement, you can one-shot it! *NOTE* this ONLY works for the goldie in ‘the golden one’!
Explosher is great in salmon run purely because its projectile is piercing, and very long range. If a friendly is down and behind a crowd of cohocks it doesn't matter because the cohocks don't exist to the explosher, just fire through them.
PRO TIP: on marooner’s bay during glowflies, there aren’t many walls so stand near the edge (the end where low tide is) and stay there when the glowflies are on you, let your team kill the salmonids from the two pathways near the basket.
Here's one tip: Actually, you don't HAVE to kill the Flyfish. If there are plenty of other boss salmonids, what you should do instead is launch only 1 bomb into the missile containers. The reason for this is because the game won't generate more than 3 Flyfish onto the battlefield. If you keep destroying the Flyfish, they will just keep respawning, leaving you constantly trying to take out Flyfish far away from the basket. You could have just met your quota taking out other Boss Salmonids that are closer to the basket. You can take out the Flyfish if it shows up very early in the wave, but towards the middle, just destroy 1 container. It will reduce the number of missiles and allow you to focus easier on other Bosses closer to the basket.
Should the Goo Tuber be at E tier because it has gotten an 27% longer tap shot range than before making you don’t have to charge the weapon up as much. Plus you can Squidbag while charging the weapon to keep the charge momentum minimumly.
Sting ray kills fly fish, scrapper, drizzle, and I thing steelhead without the gimmicks. With the fly fish aim in the middle of the two buckets and the steel head I thing you just aim at the head a little below the bomb, and stingray ignores the armor on the scrapper and the umbrella on the drizzler
Pro tip: Use your Special; for something is why is recharged since the beginning of the match Btw, sorry for my broken english; is not my natal language :(
Yah. Try to save them for wave 3. Also inkjet isn’t a panic button. Nor is bomb rush and sting ray... well u know what is. Use those 2 for killing lots of salmon, and I mean lots of salmon.
@@CEO_of_gaming I also wouldn't really call the splashdown a panic button in salmon run unless I'm surrounded by steel heads. In that case I use the Splashdown because it can take out all 3 of them at once.
Good Sir yah. I don’t like splashdown in salmon because it’s kinda useless (besides revives and if your cornered by steel els and maybe something else) and u can’t party with it.
@@CEO_of_gaming You can't party with it? Lol true. I love how that can be seen as a downside of a special. Everyone is so obsessed with partying at the end of wave 3. I personally would say the sting ray is least helpful for me. You're basically a sitting duck and while firing it you can hardly move at all, at least all the other specials allow for movement while using them.
I can get most of the list barring eliter but then again you gotta spend a lot of time to know how to utilize it properly sooo that's fair (still shouldn't be so low
Personally I feel as though the grizzco slosher is more B tier-ish because if you're conservative of your ink then you can be really good at slaying bosses. It can control large crowds of armored enemies easily. It has its upsides but it's all subjective so whatever

But if a flyfish appears very close to the egg basket then you may as well kill it to make progress towards the quota

Captain, you're on fire! (I hope not literally)
Love your content. Keep it up!
Pro tip on how to celebrate winning 3 waves:
(Squid -> Jump -> Kid -> Jump) X 10 per second
Mine is:
1. "this way!"
2. "this way!"
3. "this way!"
4. Jump in the nasty green water
5. "Booyah!"
@@samufinland5765 Yes, jumping in the water is the funniest way to squidparty in my opinion. I wish my team would do it with me...
@@samufinland5765 Just make sure that was the last wave...

You just respawn normally

Tip:
On mothership, (especially on Ark Polaris) a charger can destroy all incoming salmon, and leave the others to collect the eggs.
It's absolutely wrong
I know I should've expected as much seeing how low all the other chargers ranked, but the Grizzco charger should absolutely be at the top. It's a weapon that can insta-kill practically any boss within a mile radius in a mode all about killing bosses, what more can you ask for?
_also the Grizzco brella is a downgrade from the regular brella don't @ me._
Oh my god this tier list. Ugh. I won't go into this much but ballpoint in short range mode is one of the strongest weapons in salmon run for one. And jet squelcher is one of the weakest.
Yeah this dude is obviously really bad at SR
yeah, naut is also really great (and has 1 frame slower charge time than heavy which makes near 0 difference)
really should do more research before making a tier list, cuz this sucks
also the newer grizzco weapons are much better than the old ones by far
O look, it's Civilian.
(Side note, but this whole rant is coming from someone who doesn’t like using the Heavy Splatling) I’m eager to see other’s opinions on this
Also, one tip I could offer to newer profreshinals is for Cohock Charge, if you have a good weapon, please actually use it.
You can see almost all boss salmonids in
Another Pro-Tip for Grillers:
Once you killed a few of them and you are the one who is targeted by the next Griller, go away and hang out at some wall NOT RIGHT NEXT TO THE EGGS. This way your teammates have time to revive each other and get all those eggs in. But pay attention to when they are finished, so that you can swim back and kill the next Griller.
I think ballboint is great for saLmon run
It can be if it is in the right hands...
I had a terrible shift a few days ago with this one, but it might be cause of the other 3. These variable range and firing rate is a little unsettling for me...
Pro tip: Stingray the mothership at 63 seconds left and unless it is wave 3, DO NOT stingray a second time
The perfect sequel doesn't exist...
>mini splatling still d tier
As a new player fresh from the Special Demo, I thank you for this video. Now I won't be such dead weight!
Ah yes, my favorite kind of wave
*A B O U T T O D I E*
Just a tip for players who get the weapons with the best mobility : go after stingers and fly fishes please, don't let your chargers teammates do it, they just don't have the mobility and one good player can only carry the whole team so long.
smh y'all sleeping on the grizzco charger
true SS tier
5:18 thanks for the advice for my boi beemo( 8 mounths old golden retriever who steals all the shoes )
Sorry this UA-camr doesn't know about bamboozler brother! It is easily top 5 for SR.
not only have i made post-wipe saves before, but once and only once i got the bomb to delay enough to revive myself. the biggest tip that no-one seems to consider is that walls are your friend, especially in high tide. stingray, maws, and bad rng are the only things that can hurt you if high enough, as well as adding mobility options not normally available. if you dont need to work 200% to recover from a really nasty wave, you should have at least one person providing those options.
Yeah and I blame it on my teammates. They just suck balls, because I'm *always* the one who got the most eggs.
Luring is the most useful tactic in SR. It is most important in Ark Polaris since going down just for one egg takes to long.
That's what I try to do when possible
In mid-high levels of play, everyone lures.
I think the G Slosher is the best Grizzco weapon. Absolute fav. It’s amazing
It's hard to use but you can do so much damage if you line up your shots right.
Jayku_9 if your good at it, it can be the best weapon in the game
Imagine how OP the grizzco slosher would be if Nintendo let you bring it into multiplayer battles. It would be really easy to take advantage of, and "ink saver main" takes care of the ink usage problem.
Mi gente just wanna say that I have matured and I’m very sorry for being snobby in any past tier list explanations.
(Edit) that said, I humbly disagree with carbon being anywhere near mid. It is third-worst weapon in Salmones (both brushes are worst weapons you could get in a rotation), and I would place rollers into D-tier. I’ll let you slide with the other placements.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to squid party after successfully clearing a round, it raises morale.
Especially at the final round, use all of your leftover Specials for ultimate squid party
Yeah what I like to do at the end of wave 3 if I have bomb launcher, I just throw the bombs everywhere to make them act like fireworks
Shooting a blaster straight up makes great fireworks and you can aim stingray up in the air and spam zr to make a spotlight.
I just wanna say, why do the grillers now drop 5 eggs instead of 3? They were never that hard. Do people really suck *this* much at salmon run? I'm astounded.
Yes.
Yes. Not me though but other people.
thanks dude your videos are always helpful and fun to watch
He isn't Dude, he's Captain Astronaut, you're watching the wrong channel
Mr. Astronaut idk if I ever said this but that dog tip changed my life. My parents slacked on training their dog when he was young and he never came when called. I dont live with them all the time but doing this was enough to get him to come for me. Makes dealing with him so easy. I still suck at salmon run tho
"Grizzco slosher is bad"
Fly fish, scrappers, steel eel and explosive salmons getting destroyed by shooting 2 to 4 shots
A good tip is if you have an egg on any map then turn it in. MIKE I SEE YOU KEEPING THAT ONE EGG FOR THE WHOLE MATCH
Have you taken advantage of it multiple times and are sure it's not because of lag?
It's good to know other players' and your opinion about weapons ! Good video !
Mine would be :
Bloblobber Solid A (they had to nerf it so bubbles cannot go through several salmons at a time)
Explosher Freakin' Flerkin' F !!! They only added the Flyfish killer effect cause it's bad (TERRIBLE firing rate, cannot hit multiple ennemies, targeting is pretty hard to getting used to because of the tomahawk angle of the shoot)
Nautilus solid B
Ballpoint C (variable range is a problem for me)
Grizzco Sniper D (two words RUSH FATALITY...)
Grizzco Sloshing Machine D (far too slow, high ink consumption, weird angle of shoot a little like the Explosher, very bad at inking walls)
I might do a video in French about a tier List !
Still think Grizzco Slosher deserved more love. Don't know why? Lemme explain.
Things it can pierce:
Flyfish
Drizzlers
Grillers
Scrappers
Steel Eels
Steelhead
Things it is good at doing:
-Slaying large groups of enemies like a roller's flick
-Breaking all of a Stinger's pots in a single shot
-Defending during Glowflies (Sometimes)
You just gotta be conservative with your shots.
IT'S BACK
From easiest to hardest.
5: training grounds. Meant to be the easiest by the devs
4: salmon smoke yard. Moving platforms are a godsend
3: lost outpost. Walls are very useful!
2: marroners bay. Nothing to save you, but nothing that hard...
1: ruins of ark polras. The newest map, it’s the only hard map in my opinion
Salmonid Smokeyard on high tide though...
BlueKirby64 I found it to be not that bad
I feel like Spawning Grounds is the worst stage for high tide. Seriously, you have such little space it's unreal. And no one wants to use those "rail" things where you can't even swim in your ink.
Pro-tip, if you have a roller and it's salmon rush just place your roller down and very slowly move and the salmons will be more dead than the big chungus meme
Pro tip: if you can, save your specials for wave three (unless it’s mother ship then as a stinger it is your duty to use the singer on the ship
Salmon rap got this vid a like
I got the game (way) late and Ruins of Ark Polaris was the very first map I've ever gotten in Salmon Run.
Anyone else loves rewatching his vids?
God this tier list is horribly innacurate
Gslosher is like the best ever weapon in salmon run and chargers in general are pretty damn nice
Why is Jet Squelcher so high? I get that it’s range can boost it up a few ranks but the DPS it has is very low
PRO TIP: on marooner’s bay during glowflies, there aren’t many walls so stand near the edge (the end where low tide is) and stay there when the glowflies are on you, let your team kill the salmonids from the two pathways near the basket.
These Salmonoids are going to be endangered at this rate.
I was DYING at the Pokémon rap
Here's one tip:
Actually, you don't HAVE to kill the Flyfish.
The grizzco slosher can go through scrapper armor, steelhead armor, flying fish armor, or any others that I can’t think of
That grillers tip is the best
Good video,very cool
Yay an updated tier list!

Should the Goo Tuber be at E tier because it has gotten an 27% longer tap shot range than before making you don’t have to charge the weapon up as much. Plus you can Squidbag while charging the weapon to keep the charge momentum minimumly.
I remember one time, I had the g-Slosher in the rotation, thats the day I finally got S+
I think E-litre is really good on the new map since you can ride rails and OHKO everything
the brellas are my favorite weapons.

Pro tip:the stingray can cut through a flyfish (if you aim at the small fry in the machine
awesome owo
Sting ray kills fly fish, scrapper, drizzle, and I thing steelhead without the gimmicks. With the fly fish aim in the middle of the two buckets and the steel head I thing you just aim at the head a little below the bomb, and stingray ignores the armor on the scrapper and the umbrella on the drizzler
Honestly, I think the N-Zap should be S-tier because it is lighter and more ink efficient than splatershot. It is my go-to for local salmon run
Pro tip: Use your Special; for something is why is recharged since the beginning of the match
Btw, sorry for my broken english; is not my natal language :(
Yeah but use it wisely since you only have two chances. If you can try, don't even use your special at all on wave 1.
This tier list is for those who smash all the buttons.
This tier list is a joke.
You forgot the Kensa weapond and Sheldon's picks, make a part 3!!!
you can't use Kensa Weapons or Sheldon's Picks in Salmon Run
I usually crippled the flyfish because less missiles and waste of time focusing on them plus bad aim with bombs
I call the Grizzco Slosher the Dynamo Slosher.
Arc Polaris is like the Moray Towers map for Salmon Run.
Yeah, and Lost Outpost is like the Walleye Warehouse stage for salmon run
I can get most of the list barring eliter but then again you gotta spend a lot of time to know how to utilize it properly sooo that's fair (still shouldn't be so low
2:12 “Ballpoint is C tier”
> screen says E tier
Personally I feel as though the grizzco slosher is more B tier-ish because if you're conservative of your ink then you can be really good at slaying bosses. It can control large crowds of armored enemies easily. It has its upsides but it's all subjective so whatever
