@@brianmills5302 I think I mentioned to you in the past that one of the first bassists who blew me away with his speed back in the day was Victor Wooten. I mean my favorites have always been Marcus Miller and James Jamerson, but Victor was doing something unique back then. Don't get me wrong, I still love Victor, and when he's improvising live, it can get crazy cool. However, what Tiago does that is unique is combining speed with cleanness. Other bassists who use speed techniques tend to go faster than their ability allows, and the notes become muddy. The only bassist I ever heard play really fast and clean for extended periods was Jaco. I'm thinking of songs like Port of Entry with that crazy solo. Anyway, I can hear every note in Tiago's pieces even when he's flying by at 500 mph. Kid has a very unique gift, and I hope more of the world discovers and enjoys it.
@@VogonPoet67 I agree with everything you said about Tiago, and yes, you did tell me that in the past. I was Chris Squire and Stanley Clarke, but I agree about how unbelievably clean Tiago is, while pretty much playing faster than anyone I can think of. That's also what make me start to like Tiago originally, and that was like 5 years ago or so. Now, he's 10 times faster and just as clean, not to mention with his arrangements he shows just how much he knows and understands about music. I feel honored to have been able to help him get his streamed album Highway Chronicles onto CD on a very small level, and I'll do whatever I can to help this young man, who's as great of a person as he is a musician!! We're friends for sure, and I'm proud of that. Peace
