That girl who quit because of her mother being sick (Jenna?) was spot-on with her intuition. I read that not too long after she quit the game and went back home her mother passed away.
Adam Klein, the winner of Millenials vs. Gen X , flew home early and saw his mom very shortly before she died from cancer. I think it was a day later or that night or something.
The Brenda/Dawn incident gets me every time. Brenda had such a genuinely concerned moment for a friend and Dawn betrayed her in the end. It just baffles me.

Steve saying something like "I was on a football team which was 2/3 black" or some other dumb logic like that really ticked me off
Counting Jenna Morasca's situation as a "meltdown" is complete disrespect. And I liked Kathy before she quit. I think quitting unless you downright need to like Jenna is disrespect to the game and people that really wanted to play hard that didn't get in.
I don't agree at all. It was clear Kathy wasn't just 'giving up' .... You can tell by the fact she's surrounded by like 5 other women who are in the exact same position she is physically but handling it much differently emotionally. Kathy was clearly a person who was not able to outlast emotionally but really, how is a person suppose to know they'll be 'that person' before entering the game? Obviously she didn't know it would take such a mental toll or she wouldn't have gone for it in the first place.
+2BAlive100 The reason Kathy also weren't able to handle the emotional part of the game was because she was heavily on anti-depressent pills before coming on the show & she basically took a cold turkey out on the island which really messed with her mentally. It got so bad that she tried to cut some part of her fingers so she would be medevac'd instead of quitting. She was such a big fan that she would rather hurt herself than to give up on a show she had auditioned for every season after Borneo. This is why I have such a huge amount of respect for Kathy as you clearly could tell that survivor was something she always had dreamed of doing, however her mental weakness ended up being her undoing & i'm pretty sure that's also why she got such a graceful exit compared to other quitters, as it really wasn't that much of a quit & more of her mentally being at her breaking point. Lastly it's not very likely that the producers would have had her stay in the game after her almost cutting her fingers off. They wouldn't risk having someone in such a bad mental stage being there in such a cut-throat environment.
I'm sorry if this sounds offensive but that Lisa clip doesn't really get me. Yeah, it's brutal playing Survivor, being out there in the wild, miles away from home, from loved ones, and getting hungry, bitten, wet, but I think Lisa got really over emotional and her crying appeared so unnatural. Loved one visits in Survivor usually gets me emotional except for Lisa's. #JustSaying
Clutch28 I think Rupert has a great work ethic and he's very loyal and, only in this season, he was actually fun and cute. But he has one of the most clear characteristics of a Villain. He is a serious bully, he thinks to much of himself. Everytime the tribes don't go the way he want them to go, he gets so angry like he's the center of the universe and everyone that goes against him, are evil. Which they are not. Like this clip shows quite clear. He come back to camp howling, like he's god and he doesn't deserve to be voted out. Then, when fairplay admits he voted for him, he totally intimidates him so that doesn't happened again. He's bigger than fairplay, the threatens him by lifting his arms, he screams at his face. That is bullying. He has stated that he was bullied as a kid for being fat and shy, And now he does the same, that is pretty evil. Now i'm stronger, now i can be the one they fear. Classic Villain story Everyone has two side, Working hard does not make a hero. Bullying does not make a villain.
No, calling someone out doesn't make you a bully. Doing it by intimidation does. And about Fairplay he sucks and i dislike him too, but that doesn't excuse Rupert behaviour. And that everybody loves one person and hates the other doesn't make one a heroe and other a villain, or that the love and hate is right or wrong. An example of this is that Russel, the biggest villain in survivor history, has won, over Rupert, the peoples vote. Everybody seems to love Russel, but he's a bully.
Russell did what I think anyone in that position would do...if pushed into a corner and well betrayed like that, you'd react. Sorry, but I still see no bully there....if anything I just see the sliminess that is Fairplay
