Laura didn't regret it, but I think she should have. I think she would have had a better chance against Hayden and Vytas than she did Hayden and Tina in the vase challenge, a challenge that seems to be be much easier for women.

That poor girl's got issues. You could tell she's not emotionally mature. From the blindside speech, the enhancement speech, to bawling her eyes out about not wanting to be dumped when sent to redemption then was arrested after the show for assaulting her boyfriend. She got exploited for drama.
I believe that people are entitled to their own feelings and experiences in the Survivor game. You can call a player a sore loser, but I think it's important for the people upset and hurt in the game to come around and process the experience on their terms. Give them time and space.
ITA! People always want to say "but it's just a game" and it is, but these people have been living this 24/7 and have really gotten to know each other on a personal basis.. I think it's crazy to act like some people shouldn't be pissed off or have their feelings involved. That's just not realistic IMO

It's natural to be angry. However, there's also a time where you need to suck it up and realize that you signed up for a game that basically guarantees you will get betrayed by people.
I think people who blindside other people should leave a sore loser alone and not be on their face non-stop. But at the same time I hate sore losers because they themselves would have done the same thing for a million dollars. It is so hypocritical. Ah, the Dragonz!!! Micronesia and HvV moments are always my favorites to see. Both of the casts those seasons were so enjoyable. This past season of David vs Goliath was pretty good for a new season, but I don't think I'll ever have anything top seasons 16 and 20.

The ponderosa that I love the most was in island of the idols. The people there are no bitterness and they are just chilling until the game ends. No awkward moments, really.
It was just a misplay on his alliance’s part, they knew Cochran didn’t want to go to rocks and had an idol they were going to play that round, they had a 1/5 chance of putting the idol on the right person. Put it on Cochran and he will stay will the alliance and you have a statistical advantage in rocks.
Let's be honest, the only reason why Kat was brought back for a second shot was because her boyfriend won Big Brother 12. She wasn't captivating and she was a terrible player.

Asking for an apology is generally an indication that you're willing to accept that apology and move on. While I agree, many Survivor contestants have talked about how much the show messed with them mentally. Getting betrayed by people hurts, even if it is part of the game.
I was actually really impressed with how Abi handled being confronted. Yes she was def crazy in the game lol, and RC def had the right to be upset, but she went way too personal there imo and it really wasn't necessary. contrary to Kat and Alicia, where just because it's 'your night' doesn't mean people suddenly need to change how they feel on what happened in the game. It is just a game, but it's a social one, were people's emotions and relationships play the biggest part in what happens.

I love Vytas. Hope CBS or Jeff Probst will ask him to play Survivor again and hopefully, by that time, he'll win the whole thing, or at least, have the best chance. =) And as for RC, I totally understand her hatred in the clip shown. It was taken when they were still in Ponderosa so the betrayal was only days ago. But when she again brought it up in the live reunion show which was already months after they played, that was, I think, a bit sore loser-ish already. Or maybe she's just too slow to move on, I don't know.
she was very heavily called out in the reunion and IRL. She was a special ed teacher and then made a joke that Christina was special ed. It did not go over well with the community and there was lots of backlash at her workplace IIRC.

These old ponderosa vids are so interesting to look at nowadays. Juries were so bitter back then and nowadays very few people are truly bitter. Speaks to the evolution of the game I think
I can't understand how some of these people would allow this game to make them feel so bitter about their season mates. Only 2 or 3 people are getting to the final tribal council (everybody knows that before their first day even starts), and EVERYBODY is going home after only about 41-43 days (depending on any promotional stuff that they're doing both before and after the season). It's not like you're losing your job. It's not like you're going to jail. Lighten up folks. (though maybe the lack of creature comforts, food, clean skin, and the isolation eventually would get to anybody).
Great Ponderosa moments. I did feel bad for the RC Abi altercation. I don't justify Abi's actions towards RC at all; but right or wrong, fair or not, if you got voted off, your game is over. And at the end of the day its just a game. I will say that if you screwed someone over, absolutely say your peace with all sincerity and if they accept, great and if not back off and hope they come around. I was sad to see that such a beautiful young woman in RC was so bitter.

Yeah, I mean, I'm certainly not a fan of Abi, but RC explained what happened, Abi took it on board, RC said she wanted an apology, Abi apologised, and then RC just refuses to accept it and starts attacking her like that? Asking for an apology is generally an indication that you're willing to accept that apology and move on. If RC chose to use that apology to attack and humiliate Abi, then RC is the more problematic person here.

It’s a game. People don’t realize that the million dollars isn’t theirs when they get to the island. And when two people bond on ponderosa over hating another player, it’s shallow. Do they not realize only one of them even could win anyways?
While I agree, many Survivor contestants have talked about how much the show messed with them mentally. Getting betrayed by people hurts, even if it is part of the game.
I was actually really impressed with how Abi handled being confronted. Yes she was def crazy in the game lol, and RC def had the right to be upset, but she went way too personal there imo and it really wasn't necessary. contrary to Kat and Alicia, where just because it's 'your night' doesn't mean people suddenly need to change how they feel on what happened in the game. It is just a game, but it's a social one, were people's emotions and relationships play the biggest part in what happens.

And as for RC, I totally understand her hatred in the clip shown. It was taken when they were still in Ponderosa so the betrayal was only days ago. But when she again brought it up in the live reunion show which was already months after they played, that was, I think, a bit sore loser-ish already. Or maybe she's just too slow to move on, I don't know.

she was very heavily called out in the reunion and IRL. She was a special ed teacher and then made a joke that Christina was special ed. It did not go over well with the community and there was lots of backlash at her workplace IIRC.

I can't understand how some of these people would allow this game to make them feel so bitter about their season mates.
Only 2 or 3 people are getting to the final tribal council (everybody knows that before their first day even starts), and EVERYBODY is going home after only about 41-43 days (depending on any promotional stuff that they're doing both before and after the season). It's not like you're losing your job. It's not like you're going to jail.
Lighten up folks. (though maybe the lack of creature comforts, food, clean skin, and the isolation eventually would get to anybody).

Great Ponderosa moments. I did feel bad for the RC Abi altercation. I don't justify Abi's actions towards RC at all; but right or wrong, fair or not, if you got voted off, your game is over. And at the end of the day its just a game. I will say that if you screwed someone over, absolutely say your peace with all sincerity and if they accept, great and if not back off and hope they come around. I was sad to see that such a beautiful young woman in RC was so bitter.
How times have changed. Blindsides are now easily forgiven and moved passed. These days wont come often again
