HEY GREAT TUTORIAL AND I LOVE THAT HOSPITAL RECORDS STICKER YOU HAVE!!!!
Thank you! I used to buy a lot of record vinyls and stickers would arrive with all different kinds of record label stickers. :)
Can you drop a link of the cable in this video? Or does someone know exactly what RCA this is? Looked on Amazon, and didn’t find it
Same !!! Pls lmk if u find out
My sound magically worked after this video.
Legend!
Hi bro I’ve seen a lot of you’re vids.but can you do one on how to turn the volume knob??? Sorry I couldn’t help myself and I know some people need to know this stuff
Can you use RCA - RCA cable? Instead of the 1/4inch Jack? Also can you just connect the Left and Right Speaker with an RCA?
Hey - I think it's possible to do both of what you said, providing that the equipment allows you to do that :)
do you need a auido interface to get good quality of sound or this will be enough?
It has its own soundcard its not necessary
My rekordbox software is compatible with the JBL speaker but not with many others. Does anybody know a good set of speakers including loudspeakers, that are compatible with rekordbox software, pioneer dj?
Plz help. I have an audio interface that uses balanced cables to connect to my
Two studio monitors. When I get my XZ how do I connect them so that I have both of them using the speakers? I don’t know how to run the cords so when I’m not using the XZ my audio interface will still pick up the sound through
The speakers cuz when I stream music without one it don da terrible compared to having the interface but if I’m not using
The XZ then that’s why I need it. 😢
Having trouble connecting my pioneer DJ dm40d speakers to ddj1000srt. It came with the stereo mini to rca connections. Everything is plugged up correctly but no sound coming from speakers. Help please!
What I need to know is:
My DJ controller (4trak) has two XLR connectors with a wrap around label that says Balanced, but right next to each connector, one is labeled R and the other one L.
My speaker has R and L separate RCA connectors.
Am I supposed to use a cable that has two XLRs on one side and the two RCAs on the other?
Or should I use a cable that is one XLR to the two RCAs connectors?
What would be the correct way to make that connection?
Thanks in advance!!!
What about 2 speakers?
He had two xlr male sides, he only plugged one in, the other would be plugged into the other speakers for stereo sound
Hello sir cud u kindly make a video or explain how to connect ddj 1000 srt to 2 × jbl party box 1000 speakers????.
i have the KRK Rokit 5... Ofc they cant be used as DJ speakers.. ough :( what speakers do you recommend?
thank you so much for this tutorial, the speakers I bought with the ddj400 are DM40, then realise I couldn't use it these two speakers for an audience of 200 people, could anyone here recommend poweful speakers for the ddj400 ? please
Can someone please tell me EXACTLY what cable this is or post an amazon link here? Thanks!
Hey Aaron here's the cable that's in the video "Cable 2RCA Male To 2x Jack 6.35mm 1/4 Inch Mono 1.5m VITALCO Audio TS 6.35 to 2 RCA Phono OFC Cables" www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07XHHHQQM/?tag=bmg210f-21 OR if you're in USA www.amazon.com/Duttek-6-35mm-Splitter-Adapter-635MTRS-M2RCA/dp/B077NXDC7F/?tag=bmg0e-20
@@BeatmatchGuru thank you so much!!
Great video.. what if I only had one speaker but the controller has two outputs how do I do this?
Then I’d imagine you can plug both into the output and one connection into the speaker.
@@BeatmatchGuru my controller has 1 xlr out. I want to use only 1 speaker. If I just use one XLR out into the one and put in the speaker with that affect the sound.? I was told, connecting into two inputs on the same speaker can harm your amplifier on speaker. Thank you again
Silly question. Just ordered Numark Platinum FX and a pair of Presonus 3.5 monitors. As Numark as same RCA plug in the back, one red one white. Does only one RCA plug into each speaker? Thanks
Thanks for that! I was looking for a tutorial that shows the possibility to conect 3 speakers to the controller interface, 2x powered and one passive, i got 1x HS80m and a pair of edifiers rt1000t4 could you help me?
Hey Daniel, I'd recommend getting a small PA mixing console, usually used for music production. I'm actually in the market for one myself (had one before but regretted selling it now), so I will do a video on this and share it Beatmatch Guru channel next week.
@@BeatmatchGuru Thanks master, i was looking for a cheaper solution, considering low budget, but i guess it's not possible once i am using a ddj400 that has only one rca non ballanced input,
@@BeatmatchGuru Ohhh PS: I'll stay tunned for the video explaining that, thanks a lot for the atention dude LOVE
If I only have one speaker, should I set the controller to a mono output?
Yes
Thanks! Since RCA is unbalanced, is there any reason to run a balanced TRS between the two speakers?
I’m also wondering this and I have an audio interface and I’m not sure how to hook up the speakers to both at the same time so I don’t have to switch back and forth? 😂
Hi- what's that cable called pls - the RCA to double 6.3mm into the speakers - coz I cannot find it :(. also - is there an option of the double 6.3mm to be long so I can place the speakers to the opposite side of the room? Thanks!
can you connect a ddj 800 directly to ev zlxbt12 powered loudspeakers via rca to xlr
Name or link to this cabel plz? Thank U.
I am running a scarlet interface for audio recording. Do I need to go through that. I have JBL powered speakers. I’ve gone back and forth with Focusrite about it, politely of course; so according to this, all I need to do is plug directly into my powered speakers, my laptop, and I can start annoying the neighborhood again? It all worked for a minute; but my 5 year old wants to be like dad…….I was at work, I came home to relax and mix music I enjoy, and it didn’t work. 🙁 any help is appreciated. I’m using a Roland 202 and Serato.
I just need to keep the hands busy. I’m an old DJ with a bird cage voice, look like a monster, but love hugs instead of slugs, I’m on medical leave from work for another week and I’m going crazy.
hey just wondering how can i conect my Yamaha HS8S Black Active Subwoofer to my XDJ-RX2?
What are the connection types to the subwoofer? Might be a good idea to buy an external mixer to plug in all your speakers, and connect the controller to the inputs of the external mixer. Can put in a video if that would help?
Ty for your video!❤🎉
Quuestion: I've connected my flx4 to bluetooth speaker as the master output . but I cant control the master level nob for sound
What kind of cable is it?
I have a DDJ400 and i am using a KRK Classic 5. but it is only one speaker, i will eventually get the other one. whenever i plug in the red and black the sound doesn't come out of my speaker but if i leave only one it works. Do you know why that is? im not sure im getting 100% of the audio out if its only the Red connected.
hi i have similar monitors and dj controller i cant seem to figure out how to connect via my focusrite interface to prevent from having to keep pulling out the cables from dj controller direct to monitors and just run it through the interface as i use it for music production as well . cheers
What cables did you use and can you give an Amazon link to them?
HEY! I used a Phono (RCA) to 1/4" Jack. Left and Right on both sides of the cable. Check out the link on my recommended gear page here: beatmatchguru.com/recommended-dj-gear/dj-cables-adaptors-accessories-recommended-gear/ and the product is: www.amazon.com/dp/B01CT1XM02?tag=bmg0e-20
Hey i have a question, i did everything you said in the vid, but there is no music coming out of my speakers. The speakers are okey i‘ve tested. What can i do?
Hey Arbnor, are the speakers powered? As in is there on off switches on the back of them? Everything plugged in? Which DJ controller do you have? Is the speakers that are the issue or the controller? Test everything, it's usually a process of elimination :)
Having trouble connecting my DDJ 1000 to my pioneer speakers. Help!
What connection types do you have on on the controller and speakers?
ive got a a question ,im gettin ddj 400 , mu question is ive got nice 50 watt acoustic stereo fishman acoustic amp and there is a aux input at the back and also guitar input on the front .do i have to connect the 400 from guitar input with a jack lead or aux small jackphone input the get a sound ? im gonna order the cable so not sure which input to use as i can connect my phone to aux connection to listen songs and it work but not sure about the 400!.thank you
So using the rca on the ddj400 means its unbalanced and you will get a weaker power signal and or lower volume.
What if it's RCA to XLR?
Hey how do you can I connect my irig 2 to ddj 400? As it has only one rca connection and I use it for my speakers .
Can’t I just use Trc jack to jack? From the unbalanced mic to jack on the amp
Bro how long do u want to drag video out for fs
sorry this video annoyed you. hopefully my newer videos are more helpful.
I got the pioneer 400 and I got mackie crx speakers
What cables do I need
Hi, I need your help, so I have the DDJ-SB3 and an M-Audio Studiophile BX5a Deluxe set of speakers which have TRA and XLR inputs. I have the same exact cord as the one in the video but when I do my setup, I only get sound through my headphones and nothing from the speakers. I bought the RCA to XLR cord which will be on its way soon since I was confused, but I really do need your help! PLEASE get back to me, this is super important, I've been djing without the cue since my only choice at the moment is to go from aux to my giant portable speaker where my headphones are supposed to go. My other choice is just to play into my headphones, but I can't do that when I'm playing gigs. PLEASE HELP
Hey Jordan, have you turned up the volume on the speakers? have you tested the speakers on another device to see if the speakers actually work? Assuming you're using Rekordbox, have you set the speaker settings to go through the output of the controller instead of the laptop? Hope this helps?
@@BeatmatchGuru i'm using serato dj suite, but i'm not sure at all how to set the output on my computer. The volume is definitely up and the speakers work great, just no sound with the controller
@@jordanbrown3887 only be a few things setting in ur dj software make sure ur computing reading it has audio connected plug ur dj controller oit plug it back in Hooe this helps
Thanks dude
How would you connect them with subwoofers? From controller to subs and from subs to speakers or the other way around?
What are the cable connection types on the subwoofer? You might be able to connect to an external mixer or an amp possibly?
@@BeatmatchGuru Can you use an audio interface instead of a mixer.
How to I connect it to a speaker to an aux? The red and white cable to an aux chord
Hi Chris, what connection do the speakers have? Sometimes the cables are aux to aux, or aux to 1/4inch jack. Amazon will have a lot of the cables you will need. Does that help Chris?
In this case, is a sound card needed?
Hey Louie, no. The DDJ-400 has an integrated sound card, which makes it easier / less equipment to setup.
@@BeatmatchGuru Thank you.
@@JEHOVASAVES010 no worries, anytime man 👍
What about for portable travel-sized speakers?
Get a rca to 3.5mm aux cable
@@nhsplayer07 sounds good, thanks!
Does that controller have the single jack output
Nope - DDJ-400 only has outputs for Phono (RCA). Other more advanced DJ controllers have Jack outputs and potentially offer a secondary output too e.g. Phono or XLR, which helps to connect to speakers in the DJ booth and live speakers via an external mixer.
THANK YOU ! Life saver
hey boss whats the name of that wires do u have the website so i can purchase them
Hey Ryan - phono (RCA) to jack cable :)
What if i got my studio monitors with 6.3mm jacks and they going into my scarlett audio card how do i can use my ddj 400 with that setup..i just tought i had to change outputs in rekordbox settings on pc but there isnt any focusrite output as for example i get shown in ableton
Hi did you figure it out?.. I've got the same setup...
how can i incorporate a subwoofer to this setup? i have 2 krk 5 monitors and a krk sub with by ddj400
did you find a way for connecting the sub, i have krk monitors and a ddj 400, just not sure about getting the sub until i know how to connect it
@@stevecaptin007 Yes, it was quite easy actually. I use a TRS to RCA cable to plug my ddj400 into the back of the sub where it says "In". then use a TRS to TRS or XLR to XLR plug each monitor into the back of the sub where it says "out"
Ok thank you I didn't know this.
Hey mate i don't have monitor speakers... Could i run my rca cable to my stereo aux for audio
Hey, do you mean connecting to an amp or a a laptop as an alternative?
hello, if i have only one rca and not two (meaning one black and one red) does it still work if i insert my one rca to only the left or right side??
please if you could answer me it’ll help me a lot. thank you!!
@@youmnabadro9462 Yes, it should work, you just need to test the one RCA in either the left or right RCA. I've personally done this a few times when live streaming, because I had to plug one RCA cable into the DJ controller and one into a sound card for the computer.
Beatmatch Guru okay thank you so much!!!
Were would i get a rca lead like yours from but a long one
Hey Kayleigh, the one in the video I bought from Amazon. Previously I've bought cables from www.gear4music.com/
Ive got different color wires
ITS SENSE TO HOOK UP ONE SPEAKER I WAS HOPING TO SEE 2 SPEAKERS A PAIR WHEN DOING A PARTY THATS ALL THANKS ANYWAY
I just recently purchased the Pioneer Dj - DJ Controller Black (DDJ-SB3) & 2 Mackie THUMP Series 15-Inch 1300-Watt Loudspeaker with High Performance Amplifiers Built-in Mixers & Power Factor Correction (THUMP15A) . but i get a bad & ugly humming sound. If you can please help me out with the exact cables that I need so I can just enjoy music
Whats that cable name
Hey Danzil Thomas, usually a RCA or Phono cable TO 1/4 inch Jack
i love dj is best and i am dj for now
Bro say that cable name.....
RCA to Jack :)
So idk what the fuck to do if i have diffrent colored wires
и тут я понял, что было бы не плохо знать английский)
I connect my equipment to my PC
no link to the product :(
Hey Josh, you can check out my recommended products here :) beatmatchguru.com/recommended-dj-gear/dj-controllers-2/
How do you connect the DDJ-400 via BlueTooth?
wtf?
Whaaaaaat
Get on with it mate take to long to get to the point
Thanks for the feedback
And just like that? Where did the wires connect to? A magic connect on the other end? 😂 stop it!
I cant even watch this, so annoying when people rant off topic
waiting for videos like "how to open doors with keys", "how to boil water with pot" and "how to use toilet paper" + bonus video "how to flush toilet"
This is when you're desperately trying to scrape a few bucks from making useless videos. That said, I am absolutely sure there are people out there who have lived in under a rock for last 50 years and find these vids useful.
bruh
Got myself a pair of vm50s plugged them into my usb powered flx 6 DJ controller using unbalanced rca. I was getting constant high pitch buzzing while connected, I then tried connecting it to my computer. The same thing happened. What can I do to fix this?
how do you connect a mic?
