This has got to be one of my favorite builds I follow. Being able to drive something so unique and know it was made by your own hands has to be a great feeling.
you should cut access hatches for the spark plugs into those liners. the boxers are a pain in the ass to change plugs on and i wish my subaru had them.
You should seam seal your welds before you put the bed liner over them. It would fill in the gaps that your bed liner won't. Also it can make your wheel wells look factory.
Bronze them wheels Caleb! Send it with true rally styling! It has come so far from where it began and it is getting knocked out of the park! Thanks for sharing your time with us all and we'll see you again soon! Best wishes and Peace out brother!
OOH! Put some cut fuel tube over the edge of that cut fender liner where the wire bundle goes through. That will shred your engine control harness. keep up the good work.
Hi Gingium, greeting from China! I've been watching your videos for one year and half. I wish you and your friends all doing well, Stay alert and stay alive, wash your hands properly and wear a mask to protect yourself if necessary. Peace and love.
Do what you want as far as content. I personally enjoy just how much you get done each video even if it takes a while, but more frequent videos is nice too.
Looking good! My only concern though, and I'm not really sure how you'd fix that, but where the sheet metal lines up to the tube on the inside, it creates a valley where dirt and water can collect, so it might cause it to rust faster. Not sure what would be the best way to deal with that though, maybe fill it in with something?
I like how you do nearly all of the work yourself on your projects, Ive watched for over 2years and man you have come along way I'm proud because the content is great. and edits are cool like showing you figuring out how your going to cut the triangle out on that sheet metal actually learning as you go.. real recognize real. Even when some of us viewer's are yelling at the screen that's not how you do it you read the comments and do your own research and reply in the next video, keep it up and thanks from NZ
heiii I am from Spain and the truth is that we are in a not so good times right now, anyway I wanted to thank you for all your videos you are the reason for my creativity in cars, best regard from Galicia in the north of Spain and if you come one day see our famous rallies here in northern Spain please let me now, VIVA A CORUÑA #Stay at home!!!!
It's pretty bad here in italy, I live right next to the worst sffected city. Seeing your videos popping up definetely helps getting trough the quarantine (been home for two straight weeks now). Love what you're doing, keep it up man!
greeting from Xiangyang,Hubei,China.Hope you and your viewers well, like and watch your videos for a long time.Inmycity,we've been not allowed to go out for about half and a month since Chinese new year, now I could go outside without problems. But many stores not allowed to open yet except supermarkets.
Love ur content ur next build should be a crazy suspension sand dunes car ripping through the sand like it's no bodies business and soaking up bumps n jumps man. That build would be sweeettttt! Miata is looking fantastic ur welds are really nice.
ging, you always have good music on your channel, but this song is so amazing and introduced me to all of ealot's music. i have a playlist of all their songs and listen to it daily. thanks for being awesome man
You should have made them detacheable for ease of access for servicing and repair's as you will need to when away from the workshop, you dont want to remove the engine in the pit's
Hey be careful with that galvanized sheet metal. Not only does it stink like crap but it can make you sicker than a dog when grinding or welding it without a good respirator for extended periods, not to mention it welds horribly because of the zinc coating even if you grind it off. Build is lookin good though! Stay safe man.
What about rubbing from vibrations and movement.im talking about that one triangular sheet metal piece and the fender.just dont wanna see the paint get scratched off or something.
Personally I really enjoy routine videos w lots of content, wether it’s once a week and a 30 min video or like a Tuesday Friday thing with 12 min videos... regardless I’m not picky i will definitely be watching whatever you put out. Just my thoughts :)
As someone from Spain, thank you for worrying about us! But fear not, cause we got amazing content creators like you to help us sit down this crisis Keep up the good work lad
I was always taught to run straight welds across the entire surface I’m welding, what’s the difference from that and tacking the metal every few inches or so?
just out of curiosity, is it not possible to just relocate the fuse box inside the car to avoid moisture 95% better than like that? you know more than me just a thought that popped up that i was curious about. the builds looking great man, be safe
Content is great lad, keep having fun and working hard! content is More digestable, for me at least, better sets up for your saucy compilation build vids....!
Please out seam sealer and paint everything! It'll look so nice! Edit: nevermind durabak is going to look good. You should paint the cage red.... MURICA'!
I love how Caleb tries to do these cool intro's but Pasha is just like, nah I'll have none of it.
Marijn Donders 😂
Gingium: if you want to see the next video early head over do patreon.
Me: don’t do me like that I’m already here from patreon :(
Dude that's me alle the fukn time😂
right lol
It's good to be six months behind.
Future tip: Spray paint can lids fit into the back of Subaru transmissions to stop oil leakage.
ooooohhhh :)
@@_Gingium_ I learned that from a comment on my channel after spilling fluid all over the floor too. 😂 Love the build man! It's coming out epic.
6:30 big brain moment
I'm stuck in my house here in Spain.
But with youtube is not that bad
Iker Puente man hope everything is good there like your safe and all that
Yea hope your ok too
Be safe my man
welcome to the club from Italy
Hi paisano! we're going to go out of this situation being stronger!!!! Greetings from Sagunto.
Shouldn't the back part of the fender at 7:21 also be closed of with sheet metal, cause a lot of mud and stuff will be kicked up into the engine bay.
Nice to know the car community is still banging out content despite the corona outbreak.
Dan the car guy race car or die 😂

Damn.. Im so fcking impressed of those smart brains, protected by this guy's bald head.. Definitely subscribing.

its really starting to look complete now. i'm stuck at home, all lectures cancelled and exams moved to online so i'll be watching whatever you upload.
I like the shorter more frequent videos actually. Gives me something to look forward too furing this quarantine/lockdown!
Hi Gingium, greeting from China!
I've been watching your videos for one year and half.
I wish you and your friends all doing well,
Stay alert and stay alive, wash your hands properly and wear a mask to protect yourself if necessary.
Peace and love.
I'm thinking you should do a skid plate to protect the oil pan and transmission
Gingium videos are like no other, it always calms me down to see him work, which is why watch his videos while I take a bath
Do what you want as far as content. I personally enjoy just how much you get done each video even if it takes a while, but more frequent videos is nice too.
7:18 that bash bar end looks sharp and mighty dangerous haha
This is the only UA-camr that I’ve been watching and been keeping up wit since the forza horizon 2 days
it's insane how far you have come, I remember when u got friends over just to help with coilovers. look at you now!!
*Runs out of things to watch on UA-cam* ging posts. “Finally some fire content”

Red Squirrel paint
silicone sealant
@@nickvantwillert1 seam sealer... that's what manufactures use.
@@brodycaruso5394 seam sealer. paint can bubble up from settled water and water can rust the metal under.
nicolorf true true use some sealer or something maybe like flex paste lmao
I actually think these wheel wells look really cool

Fan from Italy here, been a fan for a long way, can't get enough of these videos
I love the trumpets (or whatever instrument was played in the music). I feel it fits the chillness of the work perfectly.

seam-seal the engine bay. it should help keep more water out. great job caleb!
This has to be the best and unique build I am watching in youtube.
Remember to drill a drain hole for the little fuse box section! Might collect water over time
Stuck in my house in France. Thanks for the content bro. Really helps pass the time.🤟
Now all you need is the iconic yellow 555 Subaru racing livery 😂
Patreon gang!
You deserve so much more then what you have the way you grind for your builds your channel should prosper
hi from Spain, thanks for your words bro!
Ehy, hi from Italy, it's gonna be fine, don't freak out and avoid crowds🇮🇹

You should probably put something in the holes of the tubes to keep water out of them to prevent any rust
Great idea! Make an under tray on the front do you protect the engine from hits from mud or rocks, you know it very well.
Watching this months later into the pandemic and hearing Caleb say "Hopefully the US doesnt go into forced quarantine"
Me: "That didnt age well"
Fab daddy ginger. Banger video
Anyone rember the forza days? Sorta feels like I've grown up with gingium. From forza to tube chassied ej miatas. 💙
I would put some weather liner on the metal that surrounds wiring harness. Will probably rub through without it
Hoonigan auto focus worthy car. Can't wait to see this car rip.
I personally prefer the a little shorter but more videos idea!
Happy to see another vid showing some progress. Keep it up Caleb.
Thanks for keeping on doing your thing. It's so helpful to have such great content.
I don't think I've ever been as invested in a car build seires as much as I am with this one

U should still cover that back spots too so if u pressure wash the tire wells it won't have water get on the firewall and splash over the motor
Looking great! Length and content in this video seems fine to me 👍
Good way to go around saying the C word. Just call it human malware.
Chad Kunka how u know then
Gonna wish you had a front skid plate at some point. Header and oil pan are in the danger zone .
I really hope you do the roll cage in white ! Could look really sick
Honestly, gingium gets better with every upload. GG wp
ging you killing the fab work i still remember when to got the welding kit you were so hyped

Giungium, you miss the most important part of the wheelhouse! the rear side of the wheel, its where all the dirt goes
the song is "Only In Dreams" by Ealot
in case anyone was wondering

Get them fender liner welded niiicely!
I remember watching you play games n now you doing it in irl I’m so proud 😭
Hello from Spain!! I miss driving my miata
I think you should have blocked out the rear of him the wheel well so it keeps more mud out
What about rubbing from vibrations and movement.im talking about that one triangular sheet metal piece and the fender.just dont wanna see the paint get scratched off or something.
by far the most promising one ive seen yet

Awesome work, bro.
I was always taught to run straight welds across the entire surface I’m welding, what’s the difference from that and tacking the metal every few inches or so?
Are you going to go over the welds with seam sealer or painting it just like that?
You did one killer job nice work
Gonna be using any kind of seam sealer for those wheel well panels?
The videos have been awesome! Keep up the hard work
I appreciate the effort you put into your weird intros, keep on keeping on!
Yeah we’re in lockdown here in NY it sucks
Is there anyone enjoying this video, while you're in quarantine in Czech Republic? :D

Gingium: "yeah its not gonna be the most legit thing but it will serve its purpose"
me: "holy shit that looks cool gingium what are you on??"
Looks really good
How are you going to change coil packs and spark plugs
why not seal seam too? also maybe add a rubber grommet where that cable is
White engine bay is gonna be sick, just like the old rx7
I would weld the whole way along from the inside to stop water from sitting between the liner and the tubes. Otherwise it's going to rust badly
Will you have and underplate under the engine bay? idk if its called like that
