No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk along the Chesterfield Canal. The canal has many locks along the way, but I believe this canal is mostly unused by canal boats. we visit a beautiful wood that has many white flowers that I think is wild Garlic! And we see some baby ducklings! A lovely walk. Do enjoy :)

About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
I upload every Sunday 11.45am GMT (3.45am PST) (6.45am EST) (5.15pm IST) (9.15pm ACST)

It really does help me so much! Not just coffee but also things like petrol, car maintenance, overnight stays in places, parking tickets, admission and entry fees to places I wouldn’t normally go to, it really does go a long way helping me make content for everyone!

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to UA-cam. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

Hi Dave, I've just discovered your videos and they are just what I needed. Every single video is calming, well shot and tranquil. Please keep doing what you're doing! May I recommend the Curbar edge walk in Derbyshire that goes to froggat, that would be a lovely scene to see!

As an American I've noticed something interesting about the British in these videos...they don't really acknowledge each other when they pass. Is it considered rude there to do so?
it isn't considered rude to do so, but it's not really considered rude not to either. Time and a place oddly seem to be relevant. If it is before afternoon and in a not so busy place, nearly everyone would acknowledge each other in passing with a 'mornin'. Less likely with me as people will see me concentrating hard on my camera. I guess people don't say hello to me as much, as they would feel rude to be breaking my concentration.
@@DavesWalks I see, thanks. Great videos.
Hello duckies.
The right hand path does need to come back down to Earth at times and allow for the whole person.
Snow drops.
Not snowdrops on this occasion, they are usually out at the end of Winter way way before any trees even have any buds. On this occasion the white flowers are wild Garlic :)
An amazing walk - England is beautiful. Everywhere you look, there's something ... it's not fair. So jealous. 🥲
Could you smell the wild garlic?
I could indeed smell the beautiful wild garlic!
