The raw mats are great for downtime like we have now, but I would recommend keeping a stockpile of them for master recipes. It's almost always better to HQ them into their respective intermediate crafts. Unless you need gil like right now, any bit of leather you HQ and save for master recipes is going to go exponential. Shortly after expansion release, I was buying gargantua hides right off the mb for 2-3K, and flipping them into HQ leather at 50K each, faster than I could even craft and sell them.
It all depends too bro. Each server is different and some of these prices can fluctuate alot. I have to check 3 times a day to see what is selling best. Making 3 to 5 million a day on a bad day. I just added all the knew crafted mats to my favorite list, so all logs, lumber, ores, ingot, etc... then check every few hours and go from there
@@ZaneLionhartffxiv i use to think watching the mb was some real technical thing, nope its pretty simple. Materia is definitely a go to on any server I imagine, especially gathering seems to go for a fortune. Also keeping all my battle materia as I predict the price will go sky high in 2 weeks. I did have a laugh. Someone in my fc bragging about making 20 million in 1 day, but they didn't lol that was 2 weeks worth of fate farming. Sometimes smaller things are better to sell as it moves faster
I've made well over 215 mil since DT released profit. Lots to be made and I only have 2 crafters. You can make a ton just going to other servers, buying stuff for cheap then going back to your server and selling it on top of crafting.
for me personally i make my gil selling lumber currently ginseng lumber easy 2-3k a piece on Light Zordiak and selling materia when i need to dump purple scripts as im leveling my crafters :)
Made about 20mil now in fire and wind crystals that I made my retainers gather for me. Crystals are selling for 225 per on my server right now. Nice passive way to make Gil on top of my other ways.
do you have any recommendations on which aethersand to have more stocked up on? I have kind of an even spread of Sungilt, Mythroot, Mythloam, and Mythbrine. I wasn't sure whether to expect sungilt to spike with the new pots, or if the other 3 would be better to go into for first week of 7.05 with the new crafts.
The supply will spike, specifically Tuesday with the influx on scrips as well, so chances are itll price drop with more competition... time to watch for a price dip, and capitalize materia markets~
@@ZaneLionhartffxiv True, but the weekly reset will refresh the custom deliveries you can do with two clients. 6 of those with a bonus on crafting or gathering scrips will provide a huge chunk of potential materia being pushed in to the market. Buying the dip that itll cause will be good when the master books drop, and people will be panic melding to meet the breakpoints needed.
It seems like alot of things you suggested such as the Raw Black Star, leathers and such are going to be more in demand come 7.05. Would you say it would be more profitable to wait for those to drop and just hold what we have for now?
Purple scrip materials for master recipe books. All level 98 basic materials and legendary node materials. And aethersands lots of aethersands. If you haven't watched the patch prep video it has all links to videos on how to get em.

@@vinxek crafter materia. It's gone down a lot. It's still quite profitable but more than half what the price used to be. The price will go back up when savage drops.

Don’t forget to buy your XI crafting materia now while they are cheap because when seven point one drops they’re gonna triple in price

180 on mine still pretty good. Taking advantage before the bots with their chocobos invade my server.

I found the ore sold more on my server. But as it drops best to make the ingots.
