I been searching and searching for dyeing on black hair and ykurs was the best...i was debating on garnier, splat (if i could find it at my drugstore...and was uncertain about manic panic but CLEARLY: manic panic works: even on unbleached hair!!! Do you really think leaving it on for a long time makes a difference? I have to get help dyeing my hair cause i have severe arthritis in my hands....)

Hydia Williams Tips: leave it on as long as possible. I recommend no less than 3 hours. It is a semi-permanent dye that has conditioner in it, all natural. So it is okay. Also make sure your hair is clean before you apply it.
Hair bleeding is where your dye continues to run out of your hair, when it's wet, even after you have washed it. To help with that make sure you wash it well after your first use. And rinse it well with very cold water to seal in the color. Bleeding well continue to happen however you'll get less and less the more you wash your hair and the longer the colors in your hair. Just be careful with your clothes or light surfaces in your house when dealing with your wet hair. Hope this helps thanks for commenting and watching.

Just one. I use a conditioner to thin it out a little.

Clarisha Bailey Thank you. I like to leave it in all day (it contains no chemicals and is vegan), but I would recommend no less then 3 hours if you want the color to really pop.

Your hair came out so pretty I love it you said u co wash n deep condition the next day what co wash n D.C. U use I just put raven color n my hair and can you do the dye as much as you can ?
I use the eden natural cowash. You can use the dye however often as you need. It is vegan.
Can I use a bag to cover my hair? And how long did you leave it in?

I couldn't tell you how long the color last. I color my hair every 3 months, and I was my hair once a week. I can still see a little color at the 3 month mark.

I know that you said you like to leave it overnight, but How long exactly did you leave it in this video? I'd like to have an idea so I know how long to leave it for, since I want a deep dark blue but not as obvious. I currently have my hair natural with no dyes and it is about your hair color maybe just a tad lighter!
I think I left the dye in all day, so probably around 7-8 hours. If your hair is a little lighter than mine, I would suggest leaving it in no more than 3 hours. I found that after the 3 hour mark the color becomes pretty bright. You can also try dyeing your hair for an hour, rinse it out and see what the color looks like. If you want it bright you can just add more dye and let it sit a little longer. You don't have to worry about damaging your hair since the dye doesn't contain any chemicals and is vegan. Hope this helps!

When i was about to get that color and brand, the lady said it wouldn’t show up but It showed up on yours perfectly with your dark hair. Your hair isn’t bleached????
No, my hair isn't bleach. The trick is leaving the color on as along as possible. Don't be afraid to leave it in all day, it will not damage your hair. It will definitely show up on dark hair.

Hi i dyed my hair yesterday using this same exact color n product. I left it on my hair for almost 20 hours , but it turned out kinda black , it shows some blue in the sun tho. So could u pls tell me what u EXACTLY did to ur hair , i’m so in love w ur hair.
Thank you. I like to leave dye in overnight or all day, but I have never left it in for 20 hours. That may have been too long. It also just depends on you natural hair color. My hair is a true brown and even getting a a little sandy brown in the summer. If your hair is dark brown/black, you can try using a bright blue. Hope this helps.
Thanks . Also my hair is brighter than yours n i used the same exact color . What should i do ? What do u suggest? Should i leave it for less or more than 10 hours? Also do u suggest using conditioner with the dye?

I have dark brown hair, and I’m going for a dark purple. Close to black. Will manic panic work for me?
I know there is a dark purple. I believe it is called Purple Haze. There may also be a lighter purple called ultra violet. If you go to your nearest Sally's, you can check the colors out.

Lydia McCoy I like to leave my dye in over night. I want the dye to be dry so that I get the max color payoff. However, I think I get pretty good results after 3 hours or so.

Was your hair already blue before ?
There might be a little blue left over from when I colored it before, but not much. This color washes out over time.
Is it ok to condition before you put the dye on?
Kennedy Cortez Yes. You can condition your hair before. However, I found that the dye worked better on freshly washed hair. (Before conditioner) I like to mix some conditioner in with the dye so I can do both at the same time. You can also condition after, just make sure to rinse with cold water. Hope this helps.

When the blue faded, did it turn to a green color?
No, it did not. It went back to my natural brown color.

She didn’t add anything with it and she left it on her hair all the day because it’s not chemical and she said at least leave it for 3 hours if you want to get more color, hope this helps you.

I think my hair was damp for this video. However, I've applied it onto dry hair. I am not sure how it would work on really wet hair.

Nope.
I think as long as you have a demi or permanent color over it, it will stick
It's will fade to a different color depending on your hair type
