I doubt Volk has any fear of Yair on the ground. he escaped Ortegas best attempts and followed up with ground and pound. Rodriguez is dead dangerous but i think Volk takes him down and finishes the fight with ground and pound. I do have a little nerves for him though because rodriguez could land with something crazy at anytime.
Yair submitted Ortega, he's a very different puzzle to Ortega on the ground
Chandler survived Charles Oliviera on his back but was submitted by Dustin. Alex was owning Ortega and got caught in a guillotine and Alex was still fresh and received little damage. If Yair causes damage and lands body kicks and leg kicks and hurts Alex of course Yair can get a submission. That’s how he caught Emmet who had never been submitted

It’s a fascinating match up. Very hard fight to call or predict. Looking forward to this one. It could go either way but I’d probably lean towards Volk. I’ve doubted Volk in many fights previously and I’ve learned my lesson. Rodriguez could catch him with a knock out head kick or submission but I’m leaning towards Volkanovski for the win. Either way this should be a great fight.
It's a wild one for sure, if Brian Ortega couldn't finish that submission, I dont know if Yair can lol, I just see volk really dominating again, yair is an absolute beast though, cant wait!
@@jackdevlin7553 yeah I pretty much agree with those sentiments. I took me a while to get behind Volk, I doubted him in previous fights which ended up making me look foolish, but I’ve watched him grow into the champion he is and what really cemented that for me was his performance against Makhachev, regardless of the result that was impressive. Yair is a wild one though, he will need to be careful but I think Volk gets it done, maybe by decision.

I mean as easily as the circumstances can change for Volk not paying attention or coasting (Doubt that'll be the case) same thing can be said for Yair, if he throws recklessly which is more likely to happen and gets taken down and kept there for a whole round it'll be costly and will affect his thinking going forward in the fight

I think Volk is going to crowd the kicker Yair, from the get go Volk will be keeping him guessing with the fients but its a 25 minute fist fight so anything is possible Volk is human he can be hurt.

Max is a volume puncher. Not much of a kicker and primarily a decision winner. Yair hits much harder and unpredictable
