Look at you making King Cake! The color of your outfit to match the cake, which by the way looks great on you! Thank you for sharing, I was familiar with the first way to shape the cake. 😚
We of mexican decent call it a Rosca. However we have la rosca in Ephifany fist Sunday you the year (in Mexico always on Jan 6th). However gets the child will host party on Candleday feast (Feb 2nd). Also its decorated with candied fruits
This is a very nice easy King Cake recipe. I suggest putting the plastic baby inside the cake after it has baked and cooled down by simply cutting a slit in the bottom then proceed with decorating. My favorite filling to make is brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese with chopped pecans.
What inspired you to make this? Most people from Utah have never heard of King Cake and many of them think anything having anything to do with Mardi Gras or other Catholic traditions is of the devil. My wife's grandfather is from New Orleans, so we definitely like and appreciate Cajun and Creole cuisine. Your version is slightly different than other more traditional recipes I've seen, but it looks really good! I can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing!
Hello, hello! This looks amazing and I'm actually going to make this next month on a grand scale. By any chance, do you know how many slices 1 cake would serve on average? I'm serving 75-90 people and I'd like everyone to enjoy a "just right" size of a slice. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
I made your king cake recipe and it turned out well. For the next round I want more gooey center. What are your thoughts? More butter brown sugar and cinnamon? Was thinking of using your cinnamon roll filling for the inside of my king cake.
My dough was extremely soft so I added more flower, which made the final product denser than I would have liked. Great flavor, but your dough looked like it came together better. Any suggestions on how I can make it more like yours?
Hi I'm new here and I love your channel your such a sweet funny person and all the recipes I've tried have been amazing definitely subbing to your channel.

W...why is no one mentioning the baby in the cake??
It’s a traditional part of King Cake so I’m guessing people are just aware of the tradition.
Why is no one mentioning the baby coming out of that slice! 😁
The thumbnail looks like a babies inside
I am 1st
"laissez les bon temps rouler"
Why is there a baby doll in it.?
Ah 2nd
Why is there a baby in it.
I explained the tradition of the baby in the video.
