The green civilian at the middle bridge to your base deserved a posthumous hero of the soviet Union medal. He stood in the way of wave after wave of allied vehicles while the ground around him being bombarded by dreadnoughts, with only a pistol and love for the Motherland!
He deserves to be the best and respected technician in the soviet Now He now need medal of honor😂 Dang he has guts and balls He dont want any allied touch his vodka country 😂
I like what I'm seeing. The learning process. Finally scenarios I've mentioned previously were encountered here and techniques applied here. We see here that building placement and Flak Cannon placement is crucial - Flaks to be positioned along planes' attack pathing so increasing Flak exposure, buildings placed deeper in territory far away from the Flak action. Ctrl attacking ground with Dreadnoughts to shell popular attack pathing - as I mentioned, their ROF and splash does the job. I'll save more comments for later. But those techniques mentioned were enough to control the game. I'll watch and re-visit how you ended the mission when I've got time.
These missions really are brutal. Instead of feeling good that you start with a bunch of elite Apocs and two MCVs, you just know the enemy will come that hard at you from the beginning. Nice playthrough ;)
RA2 has shit for lore. Irl the IFV was a Soviet unit BRDM something. Irl NATO has the heavier tanks, Soviets use lighter tanks. Irl Airships could never work. What's worst is that RA2 has no continuity from RA1. The Allies improved in their arsenal but the Soviets use back military technology 20+ years behind what they had in RA1.
OMG how times did you play this map😱 .. i got dizzy moving map there to there and 7 times go backwards to how you lost your MCV and i notice it in the end of the video 🤣. it was devastating and funny i like it .. awesome well played .. 👍🏼🙌🏼👏🏼
Amazing playthrough yet again. Just wondering was there some correlation with the Ally's Kirov's and where you Force attacked the ground with the Vladimir dreadnaught ? I can't be sure but it sure looked like it .
@@tg.Sacred And did you realize that you stopped endless Allied armor - all without the help of Tesla Coils? 😲 This is proof that Soviets don't need Tesla Coils. At all. You did fine without Tesla Coils.
@@Kirov4ever but you have to have Kirov or Dreadnought to make it. Imagine that the map does not have water and you cant build Kirov. So everything is important somehow
Yet another 'FUN' experience. At least you had some decent stuff to fight them off this time... But by 42:00 after you got all the green AI couldn't you have set the dreadnoughts on that hill leading out of the dead base? I mean all tanks pass through that narrow strip of land. Anw amazing work as usual and hope that your mind has not started melting yet.
@@RaiderFenrir050 There is one good edited Red Rev out there - that introduces Grand Cannons - but not the Nguyễn Trọng Đăng (I've not yet checked his version). You have to search for the channel "Red Alert 2 Stalin" aka YT Stalin I think - I'll check again.
Now for the breakdown: (Summary) The Soviet's strength was the Rhino, not the Dreadnought, just as Thor's strength was ⚡ and he was never the god of hammers. (Summary) Just use mass Rocketeers to rush Con Yards and snipe Con Yards. Shorten the game. 3:35 If you want to spam Flak, consider rushing Flak Tracks and Sea Scorpions instead of rushing Flak Cannons. You can't re-position Flak Cannons, so when I see you started going for Flak Cannons, the viewer would assume you already know where the planes were coming from - and confident of where the planes' attack pathing were at. Hopefully. 10:41 You eventually got around to building those Sea Scorpions but the timing was pretty late - by my standards. I'd go Flak Cannons late - when I'm already certain where planes are coming from. Flak Cannons come late just to augment Sea Scorpions and Flak Tracks. And some Flak Cannons at hot spots where enemy tanks keep attacking - to bait the enemy tanks and soak up tank shells. Flak Cannons are never spammed - just a few of them are built for adding flavor to defenses. 11:34 Now I'm not so sure but I think that enemy armor battalion was triggered by you destroying that line of green Destroyers. I've mentioned before that you can benefit more by taking the battle to land. Build up a strong land force and crush the enemy. Then you won't have to hunt down enemy vessels, they come to you in a huge cluster. If they defeat your Navy, no problem - you've already taken the land by then. You can just bait them to shore and fight Destroyers with Rhinos. You will win nevertheless. And taking the battle to land only saves some time - game minutes - you could have cut at least 7 min of video timing (my estimate). 12:08 I'm not sure why you sent those Apocs back to your ally's base. They were doing fine and can take/tank assault waves. You have to prioritize the Spy Sat. You might not react in time the next time the Spy Sat is again attacked. Why not send additional tanks to that area, most were idling back at base anyway. 15:25 You didn't need those derricks. Just use that Spy on an Ore Refinery and you're set. Sadly the Dreadnought's splash was too strong and a couple of derricks fell. I'd have destroyed and levelled the entire island. Wouldn't have bothered. 24:55 The enemy armor has just started getting the upper hand here. Following my suggestion to focus on land, by now I'd have elite Rhinos by the dozens here. Small squads and attack groups of elite Rhinos that can out-maneuver the weak Allied armor. Would have engaged Allied armor further out there closer to their bases. Maybe sniped the (2nd) blue Con Yard even. That's because I wouldn't have wasted momentum with Dreadnoughts and the Allied navy. The Soviet's strength was the Rhino, not the Dreadnought, just as Thor's strength was ⚡ and he was never the god of hammers. Mixing up these fundamental concepts, getting carried away with the power of the Dreadnought and over-obsession with naval battles have led to this situation here. 32:48 Just use mass Rocketeers to rush Con Yards and snipe Con Yards. Shorten the game. 35:20 Yes. High time them S-tier GIs come out for battle. Deployed GIs would have stopped the Tank Destroyers from the eastern edge. But if I had my way, Conscripts as fodder to soak up damage, Rhinos swoop in to kill Tank Destroyers.
Well, actually, when Blue builds WC, it will starts trigger spamming Prism tanks, so it is a lesson that when you have opportunity you have to attack them fast.
